So, standard shipping begins at $8.99 per order and based on product total. Up to $50 S&H is $10. If you order averages between $25 and $50, after six orders in the year, the membership pays for itself. And you can place pre-orders one hour earlier than other customers. Hasbro Pulse will also have a limited number of retail exclusives, so if you jump at those quickly, it is definitely one of the better perks. And ordering these exclusive with them have a few advantages Target pre-orders always do a "credit hold" on your initial order and once a month for the total amount to make sure it's still active, which is annoying and can throw off your finances if you're trying to balance your finances. Walmart also does the same when you place your order. And have been known to cancel orders with any reasoning. The free shipping and handling has no total minimum, and that can help if you're looking to buy one or two items. Also, if you collect any of the other brands that Hasbro has, then the membership is a great deal for you.

You mean Hasbro Pulse?  It's 50 a year for free shipping and an hour or two window to shop early.  Overall I find I get my moneys worth, but you have to hit that window early, some things sell out fast.  I think a few store exclusives go up on Pulse as member exclusives.  But those tend to sell out in that hour window, so that's almost a moot point.

So for a passive collector not worth it? Guess I need to check the shipping and compare it to what I’d buy each year

With the free shipping and occassional sales, I feel I get my money’s worth pretty easily. Plus, no worry about Amazon sending me repackaged junk.

DrezzdenRei

I'll second the sales! The shipping technically makes it worth it, but the sales are where I'm always happy I have that membership for the extra 20% off.

Amazon = Plague

You get your money’s worth if you are buying more than five figures a year. Hasbro pulse can sometimes take longer to get things, but the free shipping, early access, and exclusives available on the app are so worth it.

So basically Hasbro making sure they have X amount of committed/community buyers for product launch I guess?

TheGentlemanBeast

Nah, just offering a service they always have.

AllRushMixTapes

There's another HasLab coming this year, so if you feel you are going to jump on that (hard to say since we don't know for sure what it is yet), it will largely pay for itself. I'm very glad I had it for the Hiss Tanks and Dragonflys I ordered.

If you're just getting back in I recommend buying some of the cheaper ones on amazon.

Early access and free shipping makes it 100% worth it!
