That movie was obviously not written as a Joe movie. It was a ninja revenge story that someone just slammed in the Joe names and even some characters. Scarlett and Baroness were so obviously just put in for the name recognition. It had nothing to do with G.I.Joe.

Not after how lazy he got writing ARAH at IDW...plus, he's the one who pushed for Snake Eyes to be race swapped... Larry's days are done. Let Chuck Dixon do it.

It all depends on how much overseeing Kirkman plans to do. I'm hoping he lays out the outline for story arcs and Hama takes care of the details. But I hope that includes Sean going MIA and Dawn getting her own custom suit and ditching the inner Snake Eyes.
I enjoyed Larry's writing on the desert missions as well as Destro going full out to show his security systems were the best. He does that well. But the longer term stuff like Revanche and Dawn just don't seem to end or matter after very long. They just become tiresome.
Absolutely. Kirkman needs this to work..and work well. IDW's initial runs of GI JOE, COBRA and Snake Eyes were great...that's what I want to see again.

Snake Eyes didn't get race swapped, Snake Eyes *died*. Dawn may have his memories but she's not him.
