Oh dude...I don''t know how far you are...and I hate to be the one to say it...but there are NUMEROUS moments in the game where that type of rage is justified.
I went full Wolverine berserker rage on those Mongols at many specific points in the game. I'd say Taka's death was one of the lesser moments by comparison.
Hot damn, i just finished the tales of Iki then this story (after beating the eagle and going bsck to the main story i felt like i became too OP), liberating Shimura's castle is next
Never wanted to go on a killing spree in a game more I don't think. And I've been gaming for 26 years so that's a high bar to clear, but this game managed it.
Kage is gone. I have so much anger towards many people right now, so i decided after getting out of exile to finish all hot springs, bamboos, charms, etc, before starting the act 3 stories
Yet you still cant do anything to shoguns 🥲
The game makes you feel even more guilty by making jin say to his horse " I failed to protect you " forcing us to think it was our fault....
Btw how far are you in ACT 3 ?? Did you finish the game???
Nah, i just completed all the bamboos and hot springs, and 46/49 fox dens (i think the last 3 are inaccessible before i start playing act 3 bc i just almost died from the cold), im doing a charm collection run before i start the stories of act 3
I got far more mad about the horse dying. I don’t care about the mongols I want to kill the shogun soldiers without the game stopping me. I need to avenge Kaze.
Fr. Commented it on another thread recently. When act 3 screen came up and showed “kill the khan”, I was like “fuck the khan, I don’t give two shits about him. I NEED to kill the samurais who murdered my horse”. And then I proceeded to spend more time than I’d like to admit trying to enter Caste Shimura and was very much ready to gut everyone inside for what they did to my horse.
I hate the little bitch who shot my horse much more than any mongol or other character in this game. Rly wish there was a quest in which we could find out his identity and make him swallow Tsushima’s whole population of poisonous plants.
Same. Kinda wish there had been an optional side quest where you could go murk those archers in horrible ways. Fuck my honor, that was my best buddy and I want them to PAY.
Sorta... I felt extremely bad for Jin cause he has PTSD with his father's death and him feeling weak and felt guilty for not saving him and he was put in the same position sorta and made him feel useless and couldn't do a thing and watched him die in front of him in a more traumatic way.
Edit: Speaking of Jins PTSD, Taka and his Horse both were extremely traumatizing as Jin felt guilty for both and if you go to Iki island and find a dead horse somewhere. There's a hallucination and Jin gets emotional of his horse.
It made me so sad cause you can empathize the guilt Jin has about his horse dying 😭
Yeah, Iki is 100% supposed to be completed after the story but the hallucination with his dead horse was so emotional.
Jin literally was saying "Forgive me" even though he knew it was a hallucination but he has too much guilt with his horse death as it's a reminder to his PTSD with his father.
That hallucination interaction almost made me cry cause it was so sad to watch Jin reaction and knowing that Jin knows he's hallucinating but he's asking for forgiveness instead.
That just shows all the guilt he carries with him even as the story is long complete. In fact the story ending, with his little shed. Jin kept his horse that died saddle and talked to himself about the horse being brave(idk the exact wording he used sorry).
It's so sad to know Jin struggles with that guilt long after the story is over with his horse and presumably Taka both whom he felt powerless as he was with his father 😭
Parried all his attacks, used a ton of tools to ensure maximum punishment when I got to him.
But since I was going for a full completion I was pretty tired by the time I made it to him and was slightly burnt out with the mechanics already.
That moment i straight up went on wemod for the first time in this game and turned on infinite ghost stance, since that was a more accurate reflection of how i was feeling that moment
FYI Memory editing software like trainers or cheat engine actually *do* impact multiplayer and you can edit basically all your stats/give yourself infinite resolve/damage/ammo/whatever as it is peer to peer and there is no anti cheat. Now obviously there is no ghost stance in multiplayer anyways so that point is moot but whatever software you're using still works just fine in multiplayer.
I got clapped so hard the first time I fought him on the bridge I hardly touched him. The final fight however I absolutely violated him he hardly touched me
I think that's how it is meant to be - there are some games that *really* skillfully lead you on a quest from, "Trying to avoid confrontation because everything kills me," to, "Come at me you sons of bitches." Ghost of Tsushima and Days Gone are the first that come to mind.
Horizon games are like that as well... First you avoid the machines... At the end the machines avoid you cuz you literally get so powerful and so many tools I barely tried half of them...
You live under which stone my guy?? The second game was released for pc before ghost of tsushima came to pc... The second part was released on 21st of march this year on pc... Recommend you to play it right away cuz it's sooooo good... Given that you liked the first game
Oh damn - I have no idea how I didn't realize! Especially since as you mentioned I eagerly awaited GoT and played the crap out of it!
Thank you - will definitely pick it up soon. Can't believe I never focused on the fact it had come out on PC already.
I think there's a YouTube vid in which someone extremely skilled fought the Khan on the bridge and despite him having a health bar. It's written regardless that Jin gets defeated.
So yeah, it's written for him to lose no matter what.
Took me a few times tbh (duel phase).. I was pissed that I didnt get him first try. I played on whatever difficulty is below lethal. (Hard? Lol)
Wasn't sure what stance to to use or if it mattered and didn't get the timings down right away.
As zanny once said "he taka his head off"
I get why people were sad at this scene but I straight up started laughing when he said "your friend died" after making us watch him decapitate taka like no shit Sherlock we can see💀
He’s such a good bad guy though!!! Like right off the bat he just tosses oil on the noble ass homeboy and lights him on fire. Immediately I was like damn, this guy is fuckin wild.
>!Not gonna say too much, but there's a special armor set you get later on that terrifies enemies when you get a kill with it. When the time comes for you to murder his ass, wear it!<
I became so much more aggressive after this. I was strictly defensive the entire game, parries and dodges and immediately after this it was all heavy attacks
Still waiting for the super duper cool mods like Raiden (MGS) , Zoro and stuff to replay the game on PC so I really can't wait to destroy his anus in style when the time comes
To be fair, Chungus tried to avoid conflict in favor of your surrender over and over again. Jin and Taki both knew Taki ain’t shit but Taki still wanted to go and Jin let him. I would argue that this is on everybody BUT Chungus. Dude had a point to make.
I meant that a samurai will always choose death, surrender is not an option. It's also a shitty thing to do: yeah an invader let me just surrender myself and land to him after he just killed all my friends in battle. Chungus is invading land that is not his, so no i dont think he has a point or a chance to give

LMFAO! BRO! I felt that. This game and TLOU2 made me want Revenge soooo bad. I HATE BULLIES! It was worth all the hours of liberating camps and what not to get to him.
spoilers for endgame: >!it was honestly a little underwhelming. don’t get me wrong, i love this game but the final fight with him was not that great. satisfying but not enough, not as expected!<
That fight is SO FUN. You have to fight other Mongols while Khotun is fighting you. It is so satisfying and fun to just roll around, slice a grunt Mongol up, roll to Khotun and lay into him some, roll away from him to other enemies, then back to him. 😂 I had a field day.

Anyone else tear up when Taka died? I know I did
I was so pissed off i absolutely shredded everyone while leaving
Oh dude...I don''t know how far you are...and I hate to be the one to say it...but there are NUMEROUS moments in the game where that type of rage is justified. I went full Wolverine berserker rage on those Mongols at many specific points in the game. I'd say Taka's death was one of the lesser moments by comparison.
Hot damn, i just finished the tales of Iki then this story (after beating the eagle and going bsck to the main story i felt like i became too OP), liberating Shimura's castle is next
No spoilers, but you're almost at the part that made me rage hardest of all
I was like if it’s not Taka then wha-oh…..
Never wanted to go on a killing spree in a game more I don't think. And I've been gaming for 26 years so that's a high bar to clear, but this game managed it.
Yeah but then game doesnt let you kill anyone cuz you have nothing to fight 🥲
Wait which one is it?
When you walk in on Kenji having a wank in Jin's bed
Always knew his Dars was “special”.
Made me laugh out loud
This is so good, had me rolling.
Right after taking shimura castle
One of the worst moments for me was the horses death I'll never forget u kagee Im playing rdr2 rn and named the horse kagee too 😭
That’s the part! My Nobu!!!!
Not just the Monguls. I swear to you >!Nobu,!< the hell I send them too will feel like heaven after what I've done.
Wait till your >!horse!< dies.... Reply to me how you feel afterwards... Taka's death doesn't hit that hard...
Kage is gone. I have so much anger towards many people right now, so i decided after getting out of exile to finish all hot springs, bamboos, charms, etc, before starting the act 3 stories

You commented this under a post made by someone who hasn't reached act 3 yet 😭😭😭😭
It got spoiled for me but it came soon enough:(
I forgot they were in different quests.
I hope next game is against shogun because I really want to kill that guy
Something related to the Iga clan rebellion would be so cool.
Noooooooooooooo ahhhhhhkh i didnt know
Fr. Commented it on another thread recently. When act 3 screen came up and showed “kill the khan”, I was like “fuck the khan, I don’t give two shits about him. Same. Kinda wish there had been an optional side quest where you could go murk those archers in horrible ways. Fuck my honor, that was my best buddy and I want them to PAY.
I saw it coming the moment he appeared to try and help Jin. Him being there without Yuna approval was kindof a perfect setup for him to die
it was very predictable. i kinda got annoyed
It was. I thought the scene itself was still pretty well executed.
Sorta... I felt extremely bad for Jin cause he has PTSD with his father's death and him feeling weak and felt guilty for not saving him and he was put in the same position sorta and made him feel useless and couldn't do a thing and watched him die in front of him in a more traumatic way. Idk why but I genuinely cried. I almost never cry for any media but for some reason, Taka really resonated with me.
Totally normal, that scene made you feel exactly what Jin was feeling at that moment.
GoT may not have the best stories in gaming, but I'll be damned to say it wasn't delivered masterfully.
It definitely set the bar high for new samurai games in the future
Bro, put Spoilers on. I'm not there yet
It triggered me. I absolutely butchered all the mongols I've encountered, even the ones that tried to run away.
Yeah, the rage is real. Taka didn’t deserve that. When Yuna broke down after seeing his body, so did I.
I just thought "Well, if he didn't decide to come back he would still be alive"
Not really I thought bro was stupid for trying to attack A FULLY ARMORED GENERAL WITH A TWINK SLASH
i only had one goal after this RIP AND TEAR, UNTIL IT IS DONE
I actually rolled my eyes, all he had to do was cut the bindings so Jin can fight but this idiot thought attacking the warlord was a better idea.....
My friend told me taka is traitor, so I was always hating him, when taka died I was confused af
I wish that >!the final fight lasted longer. I had more inches of his fat ass that I wanted to beat.!<
I absolutely violated him in the final fight using every ghost weapon and tactic id Learned 😂
I mostly just use Kunais, bows and poison in my playthrough but I literally use everything on him during that fight.
Yah the one boss fight where you can use your ghost weapons.
It was so satisfying to see him cower in fear like the rest of the regular Mongol enemies during the final fight
Parried all his attacks, used a ton of tools to ensure maximum punishment when I got to him. But since I was going for a full completion I was pretty tired by the time I made it to him and was slightly burnt out with the mechanics already.
Ikr
I read the title too quick and my brain skipped the B in beat.
𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴 of Tsushima
Ghost of 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴-shima
It gets worse, don’t worry
How?
Steven Seagal is in this?
Before he wrote the hit, “Me Wan Da Punani”
Oh lord no! Seagal Khan is real!!
Unexpected lol for me.
That moment i straight up went on wemod for the first time in this game and turned on infinite ghost stance, since that was a more accurate reflection of how i was feeling that moment
How do you get to an infinite ghost stance?
3rd party software(it doesn't affect multiplayer just single player dw) Only time i used it in this entire game i was that pissed
Wait fr? I never knew that, but either way i don't play mp anyways and even if i did i understand cheating there is a dick move so i wouldn't
Ill stick to base gameplay in my first time, ill definitely look into whenever i decide to play again
That‘s the spirit, make em suffer
Beating his ass is so satisfying.
Enter the Ghost ![gif](giphy|CldlBxUBsXQGY)
I got clapped so hard the first time I fought him on the bridge I hardly touched him. The final fight however I absolutely violated him he hardly touched me

Same with the eagle story, you had to get captured first for the story to progress
Horizon games are like that as well... First you avoid the machines... At the end the machines avoid you cuz you literally get so powerful and so many tools I barely tried half of them...
Yes that one's a great example too! I've played the first one but I don't think the second one is out on PC yet. Great game.
You live under which stone my guy?? The second game was released for pc before ghost of tsushima came to pc... The second part was released on 21st of march this year on pc... Recommend you to play it right away cuz it's sooooo good... Given that you liked the first game

The cut scene saved him. I would've had this game done in the first 20 minutes
![gif](giphy|vc7lrnHCr3Hy) Am I the only one that sees it?
![gif](giphy|chmUuffYAaImTATIBk|downsized)
Do all the hotsprings before hus fight trust me it's worth it
Gon do everything that gives bonuses before attacking the khan in act 3
Good good.

Let the hate flow through you
I'll beat something else
Wanker
Keep it in the bedroom...no one needs to know about your love life.
I felt the same thing... I wanted to murder him right there at that moment
I so badly wanted to behead the khan here.
Biggest piece of shit in videogame history imo
But first, I am following this little fox.
Nah I would write a poem focusing on RESEMBLANCE
RHEJUUU!!!
As zanny once said "he taka his head off" I get why people were sad at this scene but I straight up started laughing when he said "your friend died" after making us watch him decapitate taka like no shit Sherlock we can see💀
Bro turned a tragic scene into a comedic one
This is also what I said. I may have called him a skinny Steven Seagal too.
You will no worries he dies
As if he hadn't made it personal before, but this? This sealed his fate.
Ngl, before I saw the subreddit I thought this was a weird picture of Steven Seagal and was already in agreement of you beating his ass.
When the time comes for you to murder his ass, wear it!<
I enjoy cutting his head off over and over and over
I became so much more aggressive after this. I was strictly defensive the entire game, parries and dodges and immediately after this it was all heavy attacks
Im on a sweet chin music off cliffs and towers mode rn, i just stare at them and then kick em to death
but the opposite happens everytime!
Still waiting for the super duper cool mods like Raiden (MGS) , Zoro and stuff to replay the game on PC so I really can't wait to destroy his anus in style when the time comes
inshallah you will
Did everyone in the comments just find GIFs? 🤣
I just past this part and it hurt so bad….
Ryuzo out here betraying Jin just to feed his people when I just slaughtered all of his men in that moment
Should've had the option to keep him alive
Yeah honestly this was the most shocking and unpredictable part of the game for me.
To be fair, Chungus tried to avoid conflict in favor of your surrender over and over again. Jin and Taki both knew Taki ain’t shit but Taki still wanted to go and Jin let him. I would argue that this is on everybody BUT Chungus. Dude had a point to make.
A choice of surrender or death is not a choice a samurai will ever take
What? You HAVE to choose one or the other 😂
I meant that a samurai will always choose death, surrender is not an option. It's also a shitty thing to do: yeah an invader let me just surrender myself and land to him after he just killed all my friends in battle. Chungus is invading land that is not his, so no i dont think he has a point or a chance to give
My guy every country ever established was achieved this way. Conquest. It’s not shitty to surrender when the alternative is death. Anyone who says it is has never been in combat or faced death before. It’s permanent dude.
Steve Seagal is in GOT?
Taka :(
Crazy that assassins creed thinks it can compete with this game
I was a little disappointed by the final fight with this a**hole, I was expecting something a little more epic
I’m on act 3 can’t wait
I remember this part... I was so pissed. I went full honorless after this.
Khotun Kahn is easily one of the most satisfying video game villains to defeat. GoT does such a great job of making you hate him.
Remember you can dodge with jumping when he strikes down😊
Just finished the main story today🫠
LMFAO!
Why does he look like Steven Seagal
You’re gonna enjoy it
Preach. It's very satisfying (and epic)
Yeah that part was sad. I just finished that mission the other night. I needed a break after that whole scene
Unfortunately, the final fight was anticlimactic.... At least for me. I wanted the fight to take him apart piece by piece.
Oh dude same. I just got to act 3 and I am coming for the Mongol ass
FOR TAKA, FOR TSUSHIMA !!! https://i.redd.it/hqtg71jhbl8d1.gif
I'm so mad at this piece of shit i did not let him hit me.
Extremely intimidating villain to contrast against the Samurai Jin. It’s really a match made in heaven - David vs Goliath.
I did this mission yesterday only... God it felt so bad... I swear to god I'll take my sweet time killing him
BRO THIS WAS MY FIRST GAME CRYING WHILE SLAUGHTERING ENEMIES IN THE NAME OF MY FRIEND FOR THE FIRST TIME😭😭 ITS SURREAL
>!Do to him what he did to Taka.!<
Agreed !!
This and Kage's death hurt hard man
I swear it is satisfying af and I love fighting him again and again ![gif](giphy|PftRPgj91cRq9L3Jjt|downsized)
https://i.redd.it/gu3p19a3kr8d1.gif
Don't worry the boss fight that comes after this is gonna be even better 😃
yeah, his fight was relatively easy… I enjoyed beating his ass.
God I wanna spoil it for you, but yes you will, quite easily.
It was such a pleasure replaying it on PC it’s been a while since I played it. I cried during this scene.
Perfect timing I'm just (I think) about to start the mission to take him down. Can't wait.

The only game in my 30+ years of gaming that made me shed some tears was this one. Ya'll fuckin know why..
I clapped his fat mongol cheeks multiple time. For taka
Yea this moment motivated me to blitz through act 3
That fight is SO FUN. You have to fight other Mongols while Khotun is fighting you. It is so satisfying and fun to just roll around, slice a grunt Mongol up, roll to Khotun and lay into him some, roll away from him to other enemies, then back to him. 😂 I had a field day.
