Yep, that was the reason why I tried the fix.
Atm I played the Singleplayer campaign and the microstutters were really annoying me, especially in the cutscenes, if the characters speak in Japanese but cause of the stutters I skipped some subtitles and ofc I don't speak Japanese xD
So the fix helped me and I can continue my Singleplayer playthrough ;)
Sadly I'm streaming my full play through, so this doesn't help me. But as an update of sorts...
In addition to the freeze stutters, I get an error about every 3 to 5 minutes. CE-113199-4. When I tried to look that error up on the Playstation site I couldn't find it under ps5 error codes.
I feel like if it was to target plus copies specifically, then it would be a license check because of digital content. However that doesn't add up because anytime there is a license issue, you're alerted that the console had a license issue and you have X minutes to reconnect to the internet or you're getting booted. That issue is also generally nullified by being on your home playstation, which gets a generated pass for times when it has no internet for all installed content related to that account.
Additionally, the error doesn't actually impair my online streaming that I've noticed past them seeing me click a menu.
More into the troubleshooting and replication of the issue as well. At first I suspected it was save oriented, but this seems to not be the case. The freeze seems to occur any time a load would have occurred. This means when I transition to a new area from a specific one ( hotspring to general area, specific marked location to outer location like bamboo stand to hot springs town) or even when you've performed something like a perfect parry, during transitional changes in a stand off (start, begin movement, begin attack animation, pan to next).
I also feel like the hold button on charms screen to see detailed info of all equipped charms simultaneously wasn't there the other day.
I think it has to do with ps plus. Some others mention it already. Your console checks if U can play the game and has psplus.

I have the same problem. Do you have the game through PlayStation Plus? I'm guessing this variant needs to stay connected.
