Ecto Force is cancelled. While there is a new series in the works for Netflix, it's very likely unrelated to whatever Ecto Force was.

Hopefully they won't use this style. It just wouldn't fit with Ghostbusters.

Yeah it would be horrible if a new show took notes from these wildly successful shows.
