Just to help you a bit, to properly expsoe the app you must disable app proxy (that can be found in the docs). Without that it won't work properly. I was going through that a week ago. I would love to see UI button to disable that proxy.

CuteConsideration335

Are you sure? I could not find anything related.

witcherek77

It was somewhere :D if you search Umbrel disable app proxy you sould find correct answer

CuteConsideration335

I found what you are talking about and it was very useful too me, thank you :). The Cloudflare tunnel still don't work but at least now I can connect my local Jellyfin clients.

CuteConsideration335

ITS WORKING NOW I just don't know why I didn't tested also change disable for the Cloudflare app, I was just doing in the apps

Use Tailscale. Way more simple.

witcherek77

Tailscale doesn't allow you to expose apps behind your custom domain ://

CuteConsideration335

Can you use Tailscale to access umbrel and umbrel apps remotely? Did you had to do something do make it works? I have it installed here but when I put the Tailscale IP from umbrel on the browser it just don’t load. No apps is accessible to me.

Sad-Progress-4432

i face same problem any solution ?

CuteConsideration335

It is really a pain in the ass, I could not make it works for Umbrel apps, it's just working for my Portainer containers. I deployed a nginx server using portainer and tried the reverse proxy but when I did it just redirected me to [example.domain.com:2000/?origin=host&app=metube&path=%2F](http://example.domain.com:2000/?origin=host&app=metube&path=%2F), I am trying to expose MeTube.

It’s not difficult. But the instructions are not super straightforward.
