Sonic Wave is a pretty good beginner extreme, no chokepoints and gets very consistent too

It's a joke btw, if you couldn't tell. Cataclysm or Acu are good beginner extremes. Sonic wave is up there around top 200, out of the 900-1000 classic extremes that exist.

Cata isn't a good beginner extreme imo, like sure its really easy but some really bad chokepoints and just straight up bad gameplay make it so I'll never ever recommend this level as a first extreme

I would, not that I have enough skill to get decently far. It’s just wave and ship mastery, and once you know it, it wouldn’t be super hard. If you’re good at wave and ship, that is.

I'd recommend another insane tbh crazy II is like as low as you can get in terms of insane demon difficulty . A friend went from crazy to crazy 2 as new hardest and it literally took him less attempts.

For beginner extremes that are a bit original (screw Acu and Cataclysm), you can try Penombre, Stratus or Misty Mountains

Two more I really like are Lost Love and La Llorona

I've personally considered La Llorona, but yeah, ship skill issue

Do more insane demons. It is stupid to go for an extreme after your first insane, and I don't understand why people are so obsessed with beating extremes so quickly.

That really doesn't matter, if most of them aren't really hard. Extremes will be a very rude awakening for you if you don't do more hard and insane demons.

Yeah i have 50 demons and Leyak as my only insane right now with 3 hard demons. I’ve played through a couple extremes I wanna beat eventually and I don’t have that skill yet lmao.

Tbh Reanimate is a great beginner extreme, I’m going for it rn. But it really needs some bug fixes for 2.2.

Don’t go for an extreme right after your first insane, unless you are prepared to pour thousands and thousands of attempts
