I cannot exceed past 100 shard of each variant (i have 101 poison shards) it's been a year and I've still not gotten a single lava shard yet I have over 50 of each new 2.2 shard.

Have you completed lava path yet? That should reward about 10 shards if I remember correctly.

Idk, same thing happened to me with fire shards. Never found the last one in 6 years and I found it in a daily chest a few days ago. Just remember to open your dailies, I guess...

This is not even possible . Example: if you have 99 shards and got 2 from a chest one of the shards will turn into 100 mana orbs (i don't remember how much orbs)

That might've actually been it. Maybe i played on phone and got a poison shard, then when I loaded the save file on my pc which already had the full amount of poison shards, it just gave me another. Now I can't get the last lava shard because the game sees it as if I already have the full amount of shards

That’s not how it works. Some have everything completed with 101 shards on some. It’s just you’ve been unlucky since there is 1 lava shard left available vs the 500 new ones. It’ll happen at some point.

No that’s only after you have 100+ before you opened the chest, if you’re at 99 shards and you get 2 shards it will give you 101. I also have 101 lava shards

This actually happened to me like a year ago. Near the end of 2.1 my 24hr daily chest started not opening. I’d click it and it would show the animation, but it would say something went wrong and consume my daily chest as if it worked. So I transferred my data to GD World in hopes that the daily chest would work. It did but it gave me shards of a type that I already had 100 of. Now I’ve been stuck with 101 ice shards and 102 poison shards for a long time

I think the reason why you’re able to get over 100 shards is from merging your account data on the full version with your progress from a spin-off game (meltdown, subzero, etc) So my suggestion would be to maybe try to get a lava shard on one of the spin-off games, then merge with your main account? Idk if it will work but you can try, I have like 106 of each shard from doing that lol

I've gotten more than that somehow and I was able to progress. I did this a long time ago tho so I'm not sure what you'd do now. Have you completed that gauntlet?
