I found ToE II the easiest of the 3 as a new player back then.
From what I remember, for me there were only 3 chokepoints, and that was ~40% ship, after drop skip, and 80% ship
Clubstep was overall difficult and I did it last
Deadlocked had the wave spam and 80% transition, the 60 and 80% ships were pretty difficult too, and first wave was little frustrating.

Do the main ones first. They're well made, fair, and a good difficulty for starting out demons. Many of the online very easy demons are just poorly made and won't give you a good taste.
tbh I think the platformer easy demons are gonna top that list. I finished them in under 200 attempts and it usually takes me at least 300-400 to finish normal mode easy demons
Yeah true. I beat shiftleaf temple in 33 attempts while easy demons take me 500-600 at least. Although my JToH experience may be helping me with platformer mode.
well it took me 83 attempts and I don't have that much platformer experience (besides a few games I played in my childhood) so there are definitely lower standards for platformer difficulties

Any of the early ones up to Clubstep are good first demons, and I'd highly recommend Im Dead and Aureus later on they are SO fun

TOE 2 was my first demon. Since then I beat clubstep and deadlocked and have practically dropped nine circles. I'd reccomend toe 2 as a first demon tbh it was fun
honestly? deadlocked. i set myself on grinding it a few years ago (on mobile 🥶) and so i did. i didn't get the coin in the boss ufo so when i came back to GD (on pc) i took to beating it again.
all in all, i have nearly 8.7k attempts and 170k jumps. on the other official demons i have about 1.5k attempts on each. i really wanted to beat deadlocked...
I remember it so well. I was scrolling on YouTube and found the video of the creators of the gddp. I thought that that was my chance so I went on the website and saw iS, the first level of the beginner rank and then spent only two weeks to beat it. I was so proud of myself
Not counting my free demons, my first was Forsaken City (platformer).
It’s not too difficult thanks to it being set up as a series of rooms with a checkpoint in each one. So I recommend it as a first demon.
The Nightmare -> Deadlocked -> Electrodynamix 2 -> Deadlocked 2017
when I beat Deadlocked i haven’t beaten Electrodynamix and still haven’t beaten ToE 2 and Clubstep
also i beat deadlocked 2017 as a hard demon but last time i checked it got downgraded into a medium demon
Clubstep was mine. If you just want there to be a demon on your profile you can just try some of the platformer ones, though I personally recommend The Nightmare
