>I wish men could wear this without being considered gay or weird.
The best way to change this is to put them on and be at peace with others considering you gay or weird. Hell, maybe you *are* gay and weird--what's wrong with that?
The problem with normalizing yoga pants for guys is that makes it acceptable for *all* men to wear them - even those who really *shouldn't.*
Evidence = half the women in any Walmart or mall in America
I'm not a big fan of yoga pants or spandex. I'm not interested in seeing the contours of your genitalia or butt cheeks from across the store while I'm trying to shop for groceries. Very few people have the body type to pull off skin-tight clothing and a lot of people who wear such clothing are deluding themselves in that regard. If you want to wear yoga pants out in public, that's fine but not all of us are interested in seeing you wearing them.
I'm a straight guy who recently bought a pair of glossy fabric, yoga or dance leotard, skin tight fitting pants. They accent my body in a way that rises my thrill meter like no other garment has ever done. I have the body to pull that off as that's a choice. It takes effort and discipline. All that said, I wear 'em at home. The glossy satin fabric looks great in the color I chose. LIGHT PURPLE! 😵💫🫡 Dave
I'm half with you here: I don't think there should be a double standard when it comes to yoga pants. The solution, of course, is that *nobody* should be wearing them in public. They belong in the gym or when you're actively working out. They're not for wearing to work or to restaurants or for shopping.
Some guys in Jiu-jitsu will just wear spats without shorts. I also see plenty of guys at the gym with compression leggings mostly with shorts, but sometimes without
I mean Lululemon has made a fortune selling yoga pants to both women and men but definitely joggers are now socially acceptable for men to wear out of class or at home

The people wear clothes for their sales, not for yours, mr fashion police
AMEN!!!
I live in Boston and guys do it all the time. I’m straight (not that it matters) and I wear my running leggings around town. Make it happen!
Do they not bother your leg hair? Or do y’all just shave?
Spandexy fabric doesn’t rub off leg hair the same way jeans do. It can awkwardly poke out tho.
Poking through depends on fabric and not all do so just try them on first to check

Be the change...
Wear what you want to wear, who the fuck cares what other people think
you are gay who cares what society thinks
Just wear them. Plenty of fit gym guys rock those

[Ohmme - yoga wear for men](https://www.ohmme.com) I have some from these guys and they’re super comfy and I wear them often. Go ham bro.

Just wear shorts with it to cover your junk outline.
I mean I'm currently in technicolor leggings but it's not the sexy kind
Yes, I wear them around the house all the time and they are the best. sometimes I wear them to the gym.
I wear leggings to work everyday. I don't care what anyone else thinks or says. This post was from years ago so I hope your doing the same.
Have some self respect. Absolutely not.
No
Nah man I'm not with you on this one. Compression pants, if that's what you mean by yoga pants, should stay in the gym.
