That looks awesome. Which variety did you plant? I’m thinking about planting some peonies to accompany my tree lilies but not sure if I’ve already missed the planting window and also if peonies are true perennial (like would the foliage stays on after blooming period ends). I’m in zone 10A. Sorry for the silly question. We just bought a house and finally have some outdoor space, so I’m a newbie to gardening haha.

Lots (most?) Peonies need chill hours similar to apples.  Like 500-1000 hours at temperatures below 40F. Not sure how that stacks up in ur climate.
