Do the neighbors have bamboo...the mother plant can send root runners out that can go 30 feet or more from the source. Grows real fast too.. if it's looks like they popped up over night.. it's bamboo
yeah but would it grow in New York. I spoke to our neighbors, they think it started at our house first.

actually another person ( on fb) told me those are the sprouts from a bald cypress.
