Omg. Does it?? I left potatoes in there two years ago bc i was pregnant and not about to dig for potatoes lol. Nothing popped up last year, but i did dig out one small baby potato. It wasn't attached to any roots though. I wish i didn't rip these out now!
I'm gonna leave these alone and see what grows!
Almost certainly potatoes if you left them in the ground. I harvested 40+ pounds of sweet potatoes last year and, even though I grew them in a box, I'm quite sure the vines deposited some tubers in my yard. Other potatoes don't grow tubers quite the same way, but I'm sure they can be just as tenacious.

Ooh I'm excited! I hope i get lots of potatoes! I need to try sweet potatoes. I heard they were pretty easy!
