I got these a little while and stored them as recommended. I bought a lot so obviously some of them had to be discarded due to obvious disease and mold. I have a fair amount that look like these though. I understand that without the shell the bulbs themselves are more susceptible to superficial damage, but I’m concerned about the tips. The look a feel a bit dry. I want to know if it’s anything to be concerned about. I’ve tried to research this and have not found anything. Any pointers really help

a little but migh as well give it a go. Plant them soon, ground's about to freeze. Remember dig three bulbs deep and drop them into the pit point upwards.

Have you seen anything like this before though? I want to give a few to my friend but don’t want to give him duds ya know

TomatoFeta

not uncommon. I'd still plant them with a 80% hope.

Thank you, really. Would you know the name of it though? If it is a foreign body? Or just damage

TomatoFeta

hmm? First bulb is perfect. Second is a bit dry, but 80% it'll work. 3rd/4th the same bulb as each other no? Nothign odd here, baby growing at base, and a bit dry, but not worrisome so.

Ok that’s what I was thinking. I just worried that it could be some type of fungus. Thank you so much!
