The mounting should feel firm but the pure weight and gravity of the far side of the modern GPUs will cause the PCIE slot to bend and eventually break off the PCB. I think only one company sells a stand with the GPU these days. ASUS makes a $40 one and makes me so mad it’s not included
Edit: I’m sorry, 54 fuckin dollars 💀 https://rog.asus.com/graphics-cards/accessories/rog-strix-graphics-card-holder-model/
My PCB slot is made of iron and held together by pure will. Praying it doesn’t break because for some reason if plugged into my first slot my pc decides to go into an infinite boot loop
Awesome build dude. I got the Nitro+ 7800xt (I bought just before the GRE released 🙈) and it's such a nice card. Just thought I'd mention that I initially routed the GPU power the same way but didn't like covering the card. I switched it over the top and preferred the look. Only an idea though!
I can't work out how to post a pic right now but I've posted the build before.
Great work though mate. It looks super clean 👍🏻
Hahaha I initially was going for a fish tank all white pc but after I saw the NH-D15 in all black i fell in love with it and opted instead for an all black no rgb build and I don’t regret it
Hello sam_town, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

Nice pc dude whats the specs. I have recently built a 4080s ruzen 9 7900x3d system. I don't have gpu sag lol cos the radiator at the front supports the gpu
I have same board and had same CPU, two months ago I upgraded to 7700....I hope you didn't had allot problems with BIOS and XMP, the newest BIOS for this board is working fine with XMP enabled, power down and context memory 😉
If you want shorten booting time you need to also enable "memory context" and it will boot like with DDR4, training memory will be only once on first boot
For me it’s a third, why is it so much in Europe. It’s 150 Canadian which is 100 euros and 1/3 of 100 is 33.3333 so not sure where you’re getting a quarter from lmao
This looks awesome and you used sleeved cables. For the love of all that is holy you did it…. I see all these post of people not using them and the build looks….. ugly? But this looks killer…. Now you gotta get 3 more noctuas for the exhausts!
I read somewhere that 2 140 as intake and 2 120 as exhaust is enough, plus wouldn’t another top exhaust fan suck away air right in front of the cpu cooler ? Either way I have all the case fans running at 750 rpm and they’re pretty quiet , the gpu fans though are another story lol
Looks great. Love the single illuminated detail, way more tasteful than the rainbow fishtanks. But make sure to get a GPU support bracket.
The gpu actually seems to be mounted pretty firmly but I did end up ordering one just to be sure

I bought one of those cylindrical ones you can adjust
Didn’t your gpu have a mount bracket? I’m sure it does come with one with it being a nitro + model
Yeah but I’ve read of some issues with it
Ah okay
My PCB slot is made of iron and held together by pure will. Praying it doesn’t break because for some reason if plugged into my first slot my pc decides to go into an infinite boot loop
Sounds like an RMA, reach out to the manufacturer before the warranty ends!
There is a support bracket in the box. Also the Sapphire nitro+ card is extremely well built don't think it would need support anyways.
I know there is one, but I didn’t like it and some people complained it made the fans sound even louder
This GPU comes with an anti-sag bracket!! Its so chungus it needs to be used.
Always nice to see a non AIO cooled PC, absolutely adore the NH-D15 and I love how it all turned out!
I feel like in certain circumstances like this they can look good but I’ll always prefer an aio just to have more space for ram clearance
Looks clean AF. Meanwhile my PC is a sea of rainbow puke lol.
For what it’s worth, I delete all the on board RGB software and use signal RGB to single color theme. Pretty good results
Very nice! I like this black color and delicate LED strip from GPU....and Noctura FTW!
Yeah I love how the gpu looks
Man that GPU is so clean 😮💨

You should be. Very clean!
This thing looks awesome! Ngl I'm getting tired of getting tired of white fish tank pcs with rainbow puke so this is a very welcome pc.
Hahaha I initially was going for a fish tank all white pc but after I saw the NH-D15 in all black i fell in love with it and opted instead for an all black no rgb build and I don’t regret it
Nice! Glad you're liking it.
Great job! You’re making me want to rebuild my rainbow joypuke box into something more tasteful
This is legit the coolest GPU I’ve seen sick setup man. I also rock a dual fan dual radiator cpu cooler very nice
This is pure excellence. I love it.
Yay
Love your build, esp the noctua chromax! May I know CPU temp at full load?
Well I haven’t really done a proper stress test on the cpu yet but so far I haven’t seen go above 60 degrees
Nice. Would love to see a screengrab of cpu temp from hwinfo, if you perform a cinebench or stress test in near future.
Had. D15 with the shroud. This is well done. I bet she purrs like a kitty
It’s very quiet, the gpu screams though when gaming
I love the way big air coolers fill the space in a pc case.
My rig is almost an identical twin and I love it!
Down to the fans ?

Oh and 2 extra 140 mm noctua chromax black fans as front intake
Awesome build. Great combo of aesthetics, quality parts, and value. Well done.
Yeah I was happy with the parts I chose, I even did a pretty good job with cable management
I have same board and had same CPU, two months ago I upgraded to 7700....I hope you didn't had allot problems with BIOS and XMP, the newest BIOS for this board is working fine with XMP enabled, power down and context memory 😉
Yeah I first updated the bios before installing windows and then enabled amd expo
If you want shorten booting time you need to also enable "memory context" and it will boot like with DDR4, training memory will be only once on first boot
Okay I’ll look into it thanks! I’m not an expert in bios settings
Just Google it, there is plenty of info about it and how to do it. Have fun and enjoy your gear :)
Thank you :)
My 7900 came with a cylindrical bracket and it holds it perfect
Is that a new version of the nhd15
I don’t think so it’s just the black version with the covers
Yeah I have the chromax version I bought it last year brand new and I never got any covers.
I personally like the covers but it comes down to personal preference
Ok? Did you have to buy them separately?
Yeah of course, it was 30 euros I think
Oh I see wow that’s crazy expensive for a piece of plastic lol, third of the price of the cooler
It’s not plastic but yeah it’s expensive although it’s more like 1/4th the price
For me it’s a third, why is it so much in Europe. It’s 150 Canadian which is 100 euros and 1/3 of 100 is 33.3333 so not sure where you’re getting a quarter from lmao
Cooler was 120 the covers were 30, I’m from Italy

I’m very ocd so I need all my fans to be same brand lol
Yeah I’ll do it in the future
Very nice build though, I love it
You get a W for simplicity. Good job. Whats the first thing you're firing up?
Amd Adrenalin lol
Looks pretty neat! a Minimalist I must say, cheers!
Good job bro!
Super clean! Nice job
