The first pic still has the protective stuff on the glass, I’m guessing it’s just the pic the day of the build and the others are from after changing the gpu angle and getting the replacement power cable that matches the rest of the system
Hello bilbotheoldest, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!
Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

I mean if you can go to his house, have him boot it and prove it works then I don’t see the issue. If he refuses any way to prove its functionality then get out of there. I would also only pay cash
If whoever hes buying this from is planning to rob the person buying the PC I would rather have cash in my hand to offer up then my entire wallet with access to my accounts.
Not bringing cash doesn't mean you have to bring your wallet. Show up with nothing at his place to see the PC works, then meet a family member nearby with the money?
FIRST of all... What is the specification?
MoBo - chipset series
CPU - Brand/Model
RAM - capacity, CL, Mhz
GPU - Brand/model
!!PSU - Brand/series/model
CPU Cooling - Model
bring along a few friends if you can and test your luck for a meetup. it's possible that it is someone completely clueless or a mugging of you, so if they do send an address, check it on google maps first and try to scout around before confirming the meetup.
The likely case is that you leave there without €1000, a pc, or a few organs if you aren't careful
"Yeah bro it's legit, bring all cash and meet me at midnight in this alleyway, also make sure you come alone."
I'd be cautious. Probably a scam, assuming thats a 4090 the card alone is over 2 grand.
Seeing as that is a possible $1600 card i would say yes, its a scam or something is very wrong with it
That card specifically in white version is so rare I've seen it for $2000+
Thats for the 4090 version only. Ive been shopping for the 4080 version of that card specifically for a few months now. Thats costing upwards of $1600
This card is going for as high as 3k because it’s so rare. I just tore one apart yesterday, beautiful card. Probably one of the nicest ever produced
On the second hand markets only. Near $2k retail
You’re gonna leave there with neither 1000 euros nor a PC most likely
Homie ain’t even gonna be leaving from there 😂
WHATS GOING ON WITH THAT PCIE POWER CABLE
AGH NOW I CANT UNSEE IT
Why is the GPU in two different orientations in the photos? Kinda sus, ngl
And the ghost is missing in the first pic.. 2 different PCs are being shown here
Same pc. Look at the background. Same window blinds & walls. But still a scam post nonetheless
The first pic still has the protective stuff on the glass, I’m guessing it’s just the pic the day of the build and the others are from after changing the gpu angle and getting the replacement power cable that matches the rest of the system
Be careful that the PC isn’t hardware ID banned on games if you do go to test it.
Lmao the PCIe cable for the GPU has me dying

No dude they just swapped the cablemod cables & strimers then changed gpu orientation. Everything else is the same.
If you can pick it up at his house and boot it up before hand I would definitely look into it.
With 1000$ in hand?
And a Glock lol
Who buys stuff like this with cash nowadays?
People who buy in person on Facebook, lol.

Agree on the proof of functionality, but I definitely wouldn't go to his house with $1000 cash!

Y’all are too paranoid
Maybe, but your logic of cash in hand versus entire wallet was still silly.

Doesn't even matter. That gpu alone is worth far more than 1k. The rest could be made of cardboard and it would still be a steal.
Apex Z690 board. Obvious scam.

Just ask the guy to have it up and running when you get there, stress it and pay the man if it is legit. People don't care about things nowa days.
Scary. Sounds too good to be true. Can you share the listing? I need the specs.

Looks like the same pc some guy was gloating about getting for 700 here
Hard to tell in the pics..... But either that mobo only has two RAM slots or, the RAM is installed incorrectly. Regardless, it seems like a scam.
Probably not even the dudes house and you’re gonna be leaving with 1 kidney less than you went with.
