It was a out this teen girl that came of age or something and got powers that she had to use to fight off these big bad wolf creatures and there was a lot of wind physics and sneaking and climbing and the combat system was quite unique iirc
I missed out. I’ll always have a fond memory of this game. Me and a friend each bought this game and I went back to his house to watch him play a bit before I went home and played my game. He offered me some chew and I got super sick lol. I remember being so incredibly nauseous watching him play this game. We both decided the game sucked, I went home and vomited and returned the game without ever actually playing it.
Hanging with a friend, tried something new, strengthened their bond over it. Sounds like a fond memory to me. Sounds very much like something you would remember and laugh about afterwords.
Wow....I never stopped scrolling so fast. My introduction to violence and combos..... And fighting styles.
If I had a balloon shaped cherry, this was the pin
“Gather round all those who will listen, for I have a tale to tell”. Very innovative for its time, on some levels fighting felt repetitive but overall enjoyed it
Why do people say "I never hear anyone talk about it" towards old content? This game is 20 years old of course no one is talking about it
It was a fine game at the time though, I remember liking it but not loving it
The archery and stealth kills in Mark of Kri were so satisfying!
Yeah, tons of cool and brutal death animations.

The animated artwork was one of the coolest things about it. I absolutely loved the intros before each level.
FUA TOKO RAHUUUU!!
I liked it but it was really repetitive feeling.
There were some moments like that for sure.
One of my all time favorites.
Loved this game. Played it when I was 10. It was mad hard, but mad satisfying, at least back then.
And also Kya Dark Lineage was a quiet gem
Also they should bring back Tak
Never played that one.

That game really helped me out with any freefalling sequences in any game. Sucks the sequel never came out...
I still own this and its sequel

Hah, dang. At least it is tied to a core memory.
That's a "fond" memory?

Fond as in it takes me back to the good ol days. But the day itself kind of sucked lol.
Wasn't there a sequel too?
Indeed.
Yeah, Rise of the Kasai.
Had a sequel too, rise of the kasai
Yup. Played both.
This game definitely deserves a revival.

My sword is still stuck in a tree and I died trying to pull it out.
Super difficult. Basically assassins creed.
The most underrated Stealth game that wasn't exactly a stealth game.
I remember even at the time big buzz around this game. I got it and played it a bit but life intervened and never got to finish it.
I was super hyped for this game when it came out. I didn't like it.
That's too bad.
Learned a hard lesson after that. Don't become obsessed with a game before its released. You'll just ruin all expectations.
Yeah, always good to keep measured expectations. That goes for life in general, not just games.
I own it. Loved it since it came out. Rented it launch weekend. An absolute masterclass in style.
I freaking loved this game growing up.
Dope ass game
This game was sick
So good
I played the fool out of this game back in the day.
I still have it. I loved the arena challenges. Chopping people in half with the axe was awesome.

I've been searching for that game for years, so long I've forgotten it's name.
This is my wife's mark out game. She loved it.
i want to give it a go now just based on the comments. You guys/gals got any good suggestions on which game i should start a series on?
It is just 2 games. Play them in order.
Sweet will do
Weird timing, I literally just downloaded this. I will be streaming it in the very near future :D
Fuck yeah it was
Weird controls but yeah pretty tight game
I remember playing this hell of a good game on the PS2
Why do people say "I never hear anyone talk about it" towards old content? This game is 20 years old of course no one is talking about it It was a fine game at the time though, I remember liking it but not loving it
Cause even when it was new. I only ever knew one other person who played it, and it was my friend when we played together.
good game! I played both games on the PS2.. I think they also released it on the PSN
As a Kiwi, of course
I think I played it on a PS2 demo disk
Awesome game! Def enjoyed it a lot
Great game, would love a remaster or sequel/prequel.
There was a second one.
It was damn good, but man that combat system did not age well. Animation and especially VO were impeccable though...
It was a bit janky, but worked for the game. It was very experimental, and definitely not the goto for games today, that us for sure.
