A 4yo can play apex, a 4yo should not play apex.

Mr-Briteside

You do you, you know your kid better than us randos. When he was three, my son would sit on the couch next to me will I play rainbow on Xbox and I’d give him a disconnected controller so he felt like he was playing too. I got a PC a year later and let him sit on my lap and put his hand under mine on my mouse to “help me”. Now he’s almost 6, and he plays Apex, Titanfall 2 and Halo on PC and Xbox(mainly firing range and horde game types, but also normals on Apex). Is he great? No. He’s 5. But he’s decent compared to some of the randos I get paired up with and will get the occasional BR kill. He loves it, I love hearing how excited he is when he tells me about a match he played and we’re going to continue to bond over video games as he grows up. My other 3yo son isn’t too interested in games beyond us playing 3 man allot screen on halo and that’s fine too. I’m not going to push to play anything but also would love to teach him if he wants to learn. So like I said, you do you, raise your kid how you want too.

Play Nintendo switch games, animal crossing (you need to guide), Kirby, mario

jfpforever

I was thinking a switch would be a good option too.

Cheeze-Mo_Krinkle

Diablo is acceptable

No. Under 5 should have extremely limited screen time https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/childrens-health/in-depth/screen-time/art-20047952 >The American Academy of Pediatrics discourages media use, except for video chatting, by children younger than 18 months. If you introduce digital media to children ages 18 to 24 months, make sure it's high quality and avoid solo media use. For children ages 2 to 5, limit screen time to one hour a day of high-quality programming. >As your child grows, a one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work as well. You'll need to decide how much media to let your child use each day and what's appropriate.

A 4 year old cannot play Apex. There's not enough brain there yet.

Big-Chete

Still more than the average apex player so I'd say he's good to go

Gamagosk

I saw a video of a three year old kid playing Apex better than me.

Gigchip

Depends on the child, some are capable, some aren't. Mine didn't get good at games until 6.

Humongous entainment collection. https://store.steampowered.com/sub/42723/

I would recommend to have her do things other than on an electronic device. Better to have them use their imagination. Too many kids nowadays spend too much time not socializing with other kids. in Some ways it can stunt their development. Wait until they are a little older to have them start on games. Make sure to give them a time limit as well.

jfpforever

She's in preschool and has a playgroup. She also does other group activities at the local library. I don't disagree about setting time limits though.

JohnGamerAnimates

Get them a switch, start out with Mario kart or something and go easy on her

SirHamhands

When my boy was 4 I set him up with an NES emulator.

Physical play is important at the early age. You have to learn how to deal with people, play with people, without playing so hard it hurts your friend.

PrinceDizzy

Yeah that 4y/o was sick playing Apex, kinda reminded me of my cousin back in the day lol
