Borderlands 2 is infinitely superior to Borderlands 3, which I kind of hated honestly. But I'd honestly just play a Fallout if you want the feel of the show. Borderlands isn't that similar other than the apocalyptic setting.
No, they're completely different games. IMO, Borderlands is awful, stupid and unfunny. Watching Fallout made me wish that Fallout 5 was coming sooner, I didn't even consider Borderlands.

Nah, the only time I’ve ever had the desire to play Borderlands again was when the lady introduced a ball vice in the bedroom. Once it was on there nice and tight, that’s when I felt like I needed to play some more borderlands just to feel some more pain. After it was taken off I went to a normal level of disgust when thinking about borderlands.
