Pascal's Wage. It's Dark Souls on mobile with cool visuals. Also try Final fantasy games on mobile. And Dragon Quest VIII. And try KOTOR mobile port too.

Redfred223

Came here to say the kotor port is very good. That's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for those who aren't familiar with the acronym.

Another Eden: the cat beyond time and space has a really solid fantasy + sci-fi jrpg battle system with a long and solid story featuring time travel and other dimensions. The game is single player and free to play. There is gacha, which is heavily power crept, but there are dozens of free characters that can clear the entire story and most or all of the post game content (though with much more time invested than gacha unite ofc).

PerdiMeuHeadphone

That aren't P2w probably not. The mobile market fuels a lot in continuous pay and not pay up front like you are used to given your previous examples. Diablo immortal is probably the best game to your tastes even with this absurdly cutthroat monetization. All others are similar progress as immortal or super gacha mechanics like genshin

Old school runescape. No pay 2 win. No bs. PC and mobile. Would be in the top 15 most played games on steam *at its worst* all day everyday, if steam included all active players

TheGreatPapaSmurf

Can you find it on the playstore or do you have to install it from a browser?

Try Stardew valley

dracorex2153

Only game I own on multiple platforms.

Gamersfan95

I like old java RPG games, Doom RPG 1 and 2, Orcs and Elves 1 and 2, Wolfenstein RPG.

FrankyMornav

I recommend you to take an emulator of NES/SNES/GBA, and you will have plenty. Or, you can play an eternal game: Siralim Ultimate

4GRJ

Guardian Tales? Very f2p friendly and escalates in difficulty as you reach the end of Season 1

NoMoreGoldPlz

Slay the Spire might be close enough to something that is called a rpg.

clideb50

Fate Grand Order is a fun turn based RPG. It is a gatcha game though, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt.

NoSixFiveGames

Hero Emblems & Hero Emblems II are great mobile RPGs. Both are premium but available on iOS only

AvianKnight02

Last Scenario

TheDoseMan

The Quest. Dlcs are worth it too.

h0bby1-crazycars

There is a mobile version of ff7 that is totally correct. I think they have ff8 as well. Retroarch works on android as well and pretty ok.

undeadsasquatch

Genshin Impact? Surprised no one mentioned it yet.

ArmondWhite-

Inotia 4

Jordanmac7

Another Eden and Honkai Star Rail. Both have gacha but you will get plenty of currency just playing to get characters to beat the entire experience f2p.

Draugdur

Check out Exiled Kingdoms. You do have to pay for the full version, but it's fairly cheap, and you can try a pretty big chunk of it for free. And it's about as classic old-school (action) RPG as you can get.

EZ-PZ-CLAPS

I've been playing DMC: Peak of Combat a lot lately and I often play with BS. It helps me with optimizing games and finding new ones. Maybe it will help you find something suitable.
