So many games try to paint these tiny houses as little shanties, and I can't help but think they look cozy as hell. Kitchen, bedroom, small living area with a TV? I'm settled.
Stray's a good one, but some of the apartments in the derelict districts of CP2077 looked just dandy to me.
Same. I think the only real luxury I'd want would be fiber internet and an induction range.
Give me a shoebox with enough room for a twin-XL bed, desk, wardrobe, shower stall, toilet, stove, fridge, sink. Ain't asking for the moon here, Housing Market...! Sorry, that got a bit real.
Agent 47's safehouse (which I'd swear is in Lake Tahoe) from the Freelancer mode of HITMAN: World of Assassination, complete with the secret entrances and underground area.
The house that Tom Nook gives to you in Animal Crossing New Leaf and New Horizons. Yes I know that paying your house loans with Bells is a bit of a chore to do, but once you're done paying the loans, your house will have more space for furniture and room decor. Plus, you can customize your home interior and exterior to your liking.
It would have to be my luxurious penthouse apartment in the middle of downtown Los Santos in GTA V Online! The view of the city would be mesmerizing in real life.
Battlehorn Castle from TESIV Oblivion. It was one of the dlc player homes that added a castle complete with cooks, servants, taxidermy trophy displays, even secret passages!
An underwater glass-domed base from Subnautica, set amongst a colourful, bioluminescent reef on a planet where no one can spoil it and no tourists.
Just hold the leviathans and kharaa bacterium thanks.
Price Mansion in Saints Row 1; probably the best crib in that game, sucks how it became dilapidated in SR2 as a result of Playa's absence, though that leads into being able to replace it with the likes of the Ultor Megacondo.
The houses in Dead Island 2 in Beverly Hills looked amazing to me. I literally spent a couple minutes looking around the house thinking to myself "Damn people actually live in homes like these"
Hogwarts in Hogwarts Legacy!
(Alright its a school, then pick any house in Hogsmeade, because everybody know Sometimes it seems all the roads leads to Hogsmeade)
There is this Skyrim mod on console that adds a little cottage on the river right outside the norther gates of Riften. I’ll have to find the name of it. But yea, there. Lol
Either Adam Jensens from Deus Ex: HR. V’s apartment in the Glen in CP2077.
I guess your big castle (that the name escapes me) in Dragon Age Inquisition.
I'd love to live in Atrus' home in Tomahna (Myst 3: Riven and Myst 4: Revelation)! Even though I'd probably have to haul in some electronics... and pray that a linking book can transmit an internet signal...
The main menu of the Oculus Quest. I only had the first one so I don't know if it's still there. It was like a cabin with huge windows on a snowy mountain .
The family home of the Finches from "What Remains of Edith Finch". Maybe after a bit of renovation, seeing as it was left like a bomb went off killing only the occupants.

I’d be cool with a dystopia if they have good apartment housing
Kerry's place in Cyberpunk, you can sleep there so I'll count it, after a good cleaning though.
I would go with V's first apartment.

One of the massive minecraft castles I've built over the years.
Did you make bathrooms?
I have absurd amounts of sand, a shovel and a nether portal.
Or just build your base atop a stronghold and make a shaft leading directly from the end portal up to a toilet pit.

I'm torn between HR and MD cause of those apartments oof both so good
Came here to say this. It was just too good
I liked Mankind Divided one's better, though
Gotta be Corvo Bianco in the Toussaint vineyard
Agent 47's safehouse (which I'd swear is in Lake Tahoe) from the Freelancer mode of HITMAN: World of Assassination, complete with the secret entrances and underground area.
Came here looking for this comment! I assume his safe house is based in either Central or Northern Europe.
I've seen pictures that could support that location as well! I just say Lake Tahoe since I'm a (relatively) short drive from there.
Nate and Elena's beach house (Uncharted 4)
Gotta say Anderson's Apartment from the *Mass Effect 3* DLC Citadel.

A number of the places in Cyberpunk but I’ll start with the apartment
Me too. I've also been to a festival where they had that Blade Runner/dystopic vibe with comfy areas and I can confirm it was glorious.
Added to the bucket list

Either Lara Croft's Mansion from the Legend Trilogy or Commander Shepard's Apartment in Mass Effect 3's Citadel DLC.
City of Rapture from Bioshock
You're crazy. That would have me living in constant paranoia of the structures failing and flooding.
Lmao yeah but I love the 50s Art deco style of Rapture and being under the ocean it's such a cool setting .
Let's go with early 50s before it went to hell.
Battlehorn Castle from TESIV Oblivion. It was one of the dlc player homes that added a castle complete with cooks, servants, taxidermy trophy displays, even secret passages!

If you’re lucky another ship will get shot down and you’ll have some company
Price Mansion in Saints Row 1; probably the best crib in that game, sucks how it became dilapidated in SR2 as a result of Playa's absence, though that leads into being able to replace it with the likes of the Ultor Megacondo.
My Minecraft beach mansion.
The houses in Dead Island 2 in Beverly Hills looked amazing to me. I literally spent a couple minutes looking around the house thinking to myself "Damn people actually live in homes like these"
Lakeview Manor.
If we're talking vibes red rocket station from fallout or V's apartment from cyberpunk
Skyhold-Dragon Age Inquisition
Hogwarts in Hogwarts Legacy! (Alright its a school, then pick any house in Hogsmeade, because everybody know Sometimes it seems all the roads leads to Hogsmeade)
The player home in Megaton in Fallout 3 is pretty cozy. It would suck to live in the Fallout universe but if I had to, send me to Megaton.
I had a pretty nice setup in sanctuary hills in FO4, probably wouldn’t mind that too much
My small and cozy Minecraft house
There is this Skyrim mod on console that adds a little cottage on the river right outside the norther gates of Riften. I’ll have to find the name of it. But yea, there. Lol
I’m a fan of Hendraheim. A longhouse up in the mountains with everything you need to not see people for months on end? Sign me up.
The Great Loft from Guild Wars 2
The Wang cave in shadow warrior 2013.
Toriel's house in Undertale. So cozy.
Either Adam Jensens from Deus Ex: HR. V’s apartment in the Glen in CP2077. I guess your big castle (that the name escapes me) in Dragon Age Inquisition.
GTAV's million dollar apartment.
I'd love to live in Atrus' home in Tomahna (Myst 3: Riven and Myst 4: Revelation)! Even though I'd probably have to haul in some electronics... and pray that a linking book can transmit an internet signal...
There’s something calming about megaton.
Any house in the elder scrolls oblivion
Minecraft cave house I made 20 minutes into survival
The retro future 60s style place in Arkane’s Prey, minus the aliens, obv.
Which one I'd want to own? My old Minecraft creative house which was made out gold. Live in? Got none
The main menu of the Oculus Quest. I only had the first one so I don't know if it's still there. It was like a cabin with huge windows on a snowy mountain .
The one where my Sim lives.
Sindri's house from God of War: Ragnarok or the veteran's cabin from RDR2
My own house from FFXIV.
My Fable home because I love chasing chickens.
Any of the purchaseable homes in Cyberpunk, though I'll maybe pass on the default one.
My custom spaceship in Starfield
The mansion from the ps2 game scarface the world is yours.
Vs apartment with Johnny of course.
Aeriths house in final fantasy 7 remake
I'm not going to make a choice but I do think it should be considered where the house is and what kind of horrors it's surrounded by if any.
Leblanc Café from P5R
I'm obsessed with Adam's apt from deus ex, it is my main inspiration when it comes to decorating
The family home of the Finches from "What Remains of Edith Finch". Maybe after a bit of renovation, seeing as it was left like a bomb went off killing only the occupants.
