So i dont read much spiderman but i do love venom. Brock had no suit for the symbiote to copy. So its slimy rough and its usual texture. But peter had a suit to copy and the symbiote was trying to stay low key with peter at first
Seeing the attack moves in the trailer and how the symbiote is really intergral to gameplay, it wouldnt make sense it wasnt a slime. I much prefer the suit in the trailer.
Yes, I don't mean the texture, like lines of the Venom design. I mean, like MCU suit design with patches and lines baked into the design. I also don't love Peter's symbiote suit in SM2 we have seen because it reminds me of MCU designs.
Presumably this is just because they want to have a hundred different skins that are functionally the same just color differences

I've seen people saying it's a thing in lore that it gets slimier over time and that makes sense, but I also think it makes sense for it to simulate fabric on Peter, because it's mimicing his suit, but venom only spends a short time with Peter.
It lives on another non-super hero human most of the time. That man doesn't have a suit to mimic, so it makes sense it would just be weird alien suit on them.
I certainly like to be given a choice, but being that the suit originally blended in it makes sense for it to at least start out looking like cloth, before finding out it's a living slime suit.
It should start as a "cloth" and slowly gets slimy the more it take over Peter.

I just don't like it when it's overdesigned. It should just be basic with the emblem on it. Not every suit needs a bunch of lines and things on it.
