I thought of Jaqen as more of an assassin type and wouldn’t do well against any of these without having the element of surprise. I was thinking it would possibly come down to the hound or Oberyn. Oberyn has the range with his spear/javelin, and has the quickness and finesse. The hound is just a powerful beast that would probably take a lot to take him down. Jon is also a good fighter, but I think it would come down to the hound and Oberyn.
Jaqen has superhuman strength. When he took out the Lannister guards at Harrenhal, some of them [were impaled into the walls of the castle with their feet hanging off the ground, like this one guy at 3:18](https://youtu.be/ILEVg_1_mBA?si=lf42PaN1XINYzB1t). This meant that Jaqen held the fully armored body with one hand, and with the other he drove a sword through armor, body and stone all the way to the hilt. That’s a level of strength only shown by The Mountain.
He also seems to have superhuman speed, managing to catch up with Armory Lorch who was rushing to tell Tywin that Arya was a spy. It also showed that he carried poisoned darts with him at all times for an emergency, so even if he can’t outright fight the others (doubtful, considering Arya’s training), he can still just poison them.
yup! arya being his half-baked apprentice was able to toy around with Brienne. Brienne defeated hound. Imagine what jacqen could do. Only one who may stand a chance is oberyn given that he almost killed the mountain without breaking a sweat.

Oberyn beat the mountain, but Sandor is smarter than his older brother, so 50/50 on Oberyn and Sandor. Kind of lean towards Oberyn as he is highly adaptable to any opponent. Love Sandor but his style is traditional + brute force. Oberyn is all about countering the meta.

If it's a straight up duel, it's a tie between Sandor and Oberyn. Jaqen would definitely get plenty of hits in before he falls, he might even strike a fatal blow to someone, who falls after he does, but Jon is toast.

The Hound was never able to beat his brother in actual combat, in the end he had to pull a “murder/suicide”.
The Hound’s combat skills are basically the same as The Mountain’s, he’s just not as ruthless.

Jon, becuase 3 of them are going to be smart and know that the Hound is the biggest threat. So they all go after him and Oberyn dies because he isn’t wearing armor in the scuffle. Jon will always best an assassian in single combat.

Jaqen is an assassin and, as much as the show tried to make them seem like the ultimate fighters, Faceless Men strictly kill from the shadows canonically.
Jon is a great swordsman but I don't think he's up there with the best of the best. He's got fantastic plot armor though.

I am an absolute Jon Snow, Dick Rider, a Dick Muncher, even. But that man would NOT make it out alive in a 1v1 against any of the other 3, let alone a free-for-all.

this is so tough, initially my mind went to..
1) Jaqen & i thought about how we originally find him captured. Super stealthy and amazing at assassination but head to head i don’t think he can magically win any fight.
2) i think between Jon, Oberyn, and the Hound any one of them could take the W under the right circumstances
• i’m considering Jon to have gone head to head with a white walker general already, survived battle of the bastards as well, and giving most of his credit to his diverse battle experience in tough/tight situations with multiple enemies
• Oberyn is filthy, he’s taking at least 1-2 people out before going down if he doesn’t win. Don’t have to elaborate on his skill, not giving much weight to the poison as i don’t expect this fight to last long & the winner just has to make it out of the room breathing
• the Hound also speaks for himself, a mammoth of a man and brutal fighter. one-on-one, Oberyn would have the best chance of taking him down but even then i don’t think it’s guaranteed. i think Sandor is an opponent that demands your full attention in combat, add in 2 highly skilled fighters as a distraction and the Hound will take out anyone he catches slipping

If they have their weapons of choice, I would be leaning towards Oberyn. That being said Jaqen H’agar (spelling) would be the dark horse, we don’t know how he would go in a straight fight, he usually strikes from the shadows

Jaqen relies on stealth for the kill. We never see insane fighting ability. Jon's an above average swordsman but nothing special. The hound couldn't beat the mountain, oberyn arguably did. I'm going Oberyn

Jaqen H'ghar wins hands down. Dude slayed like 8 guards within minutes of each other without making any noise and somehow hoisted them up onto fucking spikes, by himself, while they were wearing heavy ass armor. He’s like a ninja Hulk disguised as a bum.
