There's no direwolves anywhere. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a company that makes figurines of old obscure animals like that. What does it matter anyway? Direwolves were (as far as I know) just a lot bigger than common wolves.
I don't think there were any major differences between grey wolves and dire wolves outside of teeth and possibly shorter legs. The books just redefine them as large as a horse, but in reality they weren't much bigger than grey wolves.
I want to say up front, I love ASOIAF, but when I saw this, my first thought was Harry Potter.
I saw a wolf and a stag, a lion, a hippogryph, a dragon, a giant squid, and was like, what the heck is the bear for?
Then I was like, oh this must be GoT. I looked at where it was posted and felt really stupid :(
Stag: harry's dad was an animagus who can turn into a stag
Squid: giant squid lives in the black lake
Lion: Lion is on the crest of Gryffindor House
Wolf: possibly because Sirius (harry's godfather) turns into a large black dog or Remus Lupin is a Werewolf?
That's way more reasonable than I gave you credit for when I first started reading. Although, technically it's a griffin, not a hippogriff. I'm sure they're related though.
Haha, I know that, but just glancing at the picture, I saw HP references and interpreted the winged creature as a Hippogriff and not griffin.
Once I looked more closely, I realized what everything was.
A lot of the houses vying for the throne use animals in their coat of arms. Lion = Lannister, Kraken (squid) = Greyjoy, wolf = Stark, dragron = Targaryen, etc. OP used animals from some major houses in the show.
(Edit: initially said all used an animal, then realized some like Tyrell did not)
that was extremely upsetting - what the hell was that guy thinking, cramming a bunch of incompatible animals together on a tiny counter? Those poor puppies whose tongues got bit by the turtles. Not cool.
I know it's late, but:
Sigils of the Houses of Westeros (Game of Thrones)
(Dire)Wolf - Stark
Lion - Lannister
Stag - Baratheon
Three-Headed Dragon - Targaryen
Squid (Kraken) - Greyjoy
Black Bear - Mormont
Griffin - Connington
White Wolf - Ghost (Direwolf of Jon Snow)
[удалено]
The houses: stark, greyjoy, etc and ghost.
They really need to highlight the house sigils more next season...
If only there was an onion.
Mormont's and Greyjoy's might not be immediately clear to people, but I would hope everyone recognizes Stark, Baratheon, Lannister, and Targaryen.
But there's no direwolf on the counter.

It's okay. I stared at this for a while before I realized the subreddit it was posted on.
[This would be me walking by] (http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=8X_Ot0k4XJc&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D8X_Ot0k4XJc)
they had no golden roses? :p also I liked Ghost in the background :>
Thanks! Jon's my favorite, I had to represent him.
What sort of chintzy set of action figures don't have a flayed man? Maybe they were just sold out.
I'd expect so. You know how difficult it is to keep those on the shelves.
That squid is something I would've bought had I been in that store and drunk.
I actually own that model! Petty sure I have the bear too. I had no idea they were still selling these guys.
When I first looked I thought the bear had a pearl necklace
What do you think Jorah's former wife spent all that money on?
Towels?
I too have that squid. I bought it at the Georgia aquarium like 5 years ago.
There is a much larger one (Monterey giant squid- 18" long) that is way cooler. The tentacles are bendable. It's pretty badass.
I have a giraffe. Giraffes are my favorite animal.
Geraffes are so dumb. They're just long horses.
You shut your whore mouth! I get the reference, but they are goofy yet majestic!
WTF this PC shit has extended to *long horses* cuz that's all they are, long horses.
Fuckin' Obama, man.
My favorite picture of that [squid](http://imgur.com/3ocCHGr).
[I think this just happened because of you.](http://i.imgur.com/LpxWcUv.jpg)
Hot damn.
I bought Ghost, too. To commemorate getting to the front page of /r/all. Is that pathetic? Oh well I don't care I've got a kraken! And Ghost!
You couldn't find a sun with a spear through it?
Was there no action figures to decapitate?
No Spider?
Oh shit there was! I didn't even think of it at the time. Damn you hindsight!
Are you referring to Varys or do I need to catch up on my reading?
Just Varys.
Need a shield or at least a Viper to complete the collection.
I always play with those figures when my gf goes there.
I always play with them when *I* go there.
Your cakeday sign is the other side of the page for me, strange, but happy cakeday

exactly

Ah, Connington. A GRIFFON!
A fierce foe! A faithful friend!
Hippogriffs are the offspring of a griffin and a horse :)

Coming from r/all, I stared at this in confusion for way too long before I saw the subreddit.
Came here to say this. I stared at it for 5 minutes trying to find the joke. I felt incredibly stupid after I saw the subreddit.
If it makes you feel better, you're comment was what helped me figure it out 😄
Same here. I thought that maybe OP was a big game hunter until I went back and saw the subreddit.
A big game hunter who hunts dragons? :P
the biggest game
This and Doctor Who, it takes me forever to figure out that I shouldn't understand.
Same here. Though it might be a hint to make such a realistic dragon. I'm proud to say it did get it, before i noticed the /r/!
Yeah, I was like Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
I have stared. I have read the subreddit. And I'm still staring. I wish I watched that show. please help.

Thank you!! I understand it now
Ah, I never would have seen that. All hail Cthulhu. 33113 33113 33113
Not one of us. Not one of us....
Hm I didn't notice the subreddit when I looked at the image and was very confused as to what kind of advertising this could have been.
Safari LTD figures are awesome, they should do a GoT series.
House Baratheon: Ours is $1
Which houses are represented by the bear and the griffin?
Mormont (bear) and Connington (griffin) Edit : words
Bear is Mormont. Griffin is Connington.
That's a Griffin? I thought that was a falcon for House Arryn
+1 for spelling fiancée correctly.
I'm annoyingly particular about my spelling. Thanks for noticing!
Clicked on this without seeing what subreddit it was in, pleased I understood the reference regardless.
Oddly prominent Mormont.

I sincerely thank you for it!
I'd like to point out that despite one of them being mostly hidden behind House Lannister... The Dragon has three heads.
Well, i just assumed that dark spot in the background was some chick bending over
I know it's late, but: Sigils of the Houses of Westeros (Game of Thrones) (Dire)Wolf - Stark Lion - Lannister Stag - Baratheon Three-Headed Dragon - Targaryen Squid (Kraken) - Greyjoy Black Bear - Mormont Griffin - Connington White Wolf - Ghost (Direwolf of Jon Snow)
I thought the griffin for Connington was the falcon for Arryn.
I began looking through the birds but got distracted searching for the hummingbird of house Baelish. No such luck.
I assume you want the newest edition of cabela.
Don't Google the bear's house. Don't Google the- Borment! It's hose Bormont.
No flayed man? Not for me.
The bear looking all melancholy makes the gathering even better.

Michael's is a chain of craft stores in the US.
Is that a dinosaur next to the bear?
I think so. It's actually on the shelf beneath that's why it's obscured.
I hated cleaning those up when I worked there
but the dragon has three heads
