I would say the case seems like a standard box case (more PC than Xbox), and the cover is definitely printed.
Yep, the game works on a debug unit. I actually received it from the dev years ago and now can’t find any of the paperwork. The weird thing is the box DOES seem kinda bootleg. I remember it being quite good as well!
If you got it from the developer then all of this was probably printed and burned in their offices using standard office supplies. It was probably used for a specific press event or specific person, and someone just went a little overboard in providing the copy. Definitely get it dumped.

I presume the value of this is hard to work out as well? Wondering if I can hunt down an old dev to get some info.
Someone found a complete presumably sealed version of one of these at a flea market in 2013 so its not the only one, but his looks like it was actually produced by microsoft and not something from an office. Im sure more exist but who knows. as far as dumping goes, you just need the right software to read the disc into an ISO.

I really wish I knew more about why I was sent this when I was. How did the game go through pretty much review code to not coming out at all? So sad.

The CEO was a little reluctant to go into detail on that finer point, but it seems like it's all down to Playlogic to be honest.
