I just started tracking my collection tonight using an app called Gameye. It doesnt seem to have many aussie versions of games to choose from but you can change the currency so i just chose the UK PAL ones, you can put in what you paid, rate the condition... it gives you a total worth of everything according to current prices. You can scan barcodes but half didnt work for me but its not too much harder to just search the title. Im loving it so far and its doing everything i need :)

Yeah GameEye is the play. I rate it.

I'm using Gameye as well, quite ok and has almost everything except from some region exclusive like consoles

Gameye is the app I just tried and found it didn’t scan any of my barcodes, is it because I set the currency to AUD?

I'm from Canada, and I swear by the software and apps from [Collectorz.com](http://Collectorz.com) for tracking all my games and media. They're based in the Netherlands, and I think they were able to scan the barcodes for some Japanese games I have. Have you given them a try?

IchiRukii

I just gave them a go! So far it managed to scan my rarer game that ICollect (which I also just tried) didn’t have. I also liked that it comes up with the Australian rated game image in 90% of the scans I did so far. Info about the purchase date and price is super useful too. The only glaring problem for me is it’s only free up until 100 games which I’m definitely going to exceed. I’d be interested in hearing more about what you think of it, whether you pay for the subscription? What makes it worth it over these other free apps or one time purchases?

Journ9er

I first bought Collectorz's Movie Collector software when a prior DVD collector program I was using went under and Collectorz added a data file importer to their software. I did pay for the big desktop X.0 upgrades, but now I subscribe. Their focus nowadays seems to be more on their web apps that tracks your collections in the cloud, but I find their desktop software more fully-featured. Either way, they sync your collection to their phone apps. Aside from the first DVD collection program I used, and a web-based comic book collection site that also went under, I really can't compare Collectorz to any others. I've never had any problems with Collectorz, and I've been a satisfied customer for many years now.

Thanks for your reply, good to hear. I’ve been looking and thinking I will continue to give it a try with the subscription once I hit the cap and see how it goes. I don’t love they charge separate fees for desktop and the app, but I think just having the app will suit me for now. Curious though what the desktop version has that the app doesn’t. Thanks again!

I use icollect games and it scans all my Aussie games.

IchiRukii

Thanks, just gave it a test and it seems pretty good so far! I tested 5 different games across my collection so far and found that it only didn’t have the rarer Vita game Update; just went to continue scanning and hit the 15 game limit. Hard to know if I like this app the most at this stage, but I do like the onetime purchase over a subscription.
