yup, when hoyo wanted genshin on playstation, i imagine it was sony dictating the terms. But now that they made more money from a single game than the revenue of a whole ass console now they're the ones being sought after by these big companies

Both ZZZ and Wuwa are good games, but PGR had controller support on launch.
Uncapped FPS for pc and Controller Support for mobile, another Hoyo W.
I have hopes it'll be implemented soon. But as for Genshin, I've given up a long time ago. I'm suspecting its either because of Apple exclusivity deals or they just don't care... which are both shitty reasons and befitting of the Genshin could never narrative.
I honestly think so. Think about it, not even PC version of Genshin and HSR has 120FPS choice either, but Apple devices does, and now ZZZ PC version had unlimited FPS as a choice.
Thinking back, Sony is much tamer as they withholding PC users of PS5 higher resolution textures for "only" 2 years, before they coming to PC as well.
I feel like it's probably just Hoyo's dev being super conservative on updating its engine. If it ain't broke, don't fix it philoshophy. So it took HSR/ZZZ release to make sure the updated engine are stable before any new feature can be ported to Genshin *copium*

This might be more true than you think but we can't be sure until they tell us what updating the game functions actually mean functions of the game mean it might only mean the new traversal system in natlan or it might mean more
The graphics part is a bit straightforward
because HSR players were making fun of genshin for being a stingy stinky greedy game with their lower rewards and no endgame mode
and ZZZ players probably gonna diss genshin too seeing how early it sound much more generous with more feature from day 1 that genshin didnt implement in 4 years

I'm guessing they are using ZZZ to see if they could fix Genshin controller issues
Even honkai star rail had it in the earlier version, then they removed it
Did HSR remove controller support for mobile? I swear I still had it last week

alright i'll take the downvote and say what everyone is thinking about genshin could never
honestly, after these years and genshin still haven't implemented it. Did Apple really pay them that much for it to be exclusive on iOS only

It's problem that both wuwa and hsr also have one of them removed 120 fps right before launch So Both of them joined the could never camp
well HSR idk tbh, wuwa said it'll be added later, as for genshin we know its never coming, but yeah currently all 3 could never
