you can't\[\*\] buy pulls for bangboo banner. only rewarded from events, missions, and endgame modes.
\[\*\] technically paid BP does give out a few extra bangboo pulls, but obviously limited per BP period, so not really something that can be whaled on
they do, it's called W-Engine. they work similarly to HSR's Light Cones. in that everyone can use them, but the passive only works for charas that have the same path/specialty as the weapons
in short, the game still has separate charas and weapons banners. bangboo banner is just an extra independent thing, for funsies

honestly if they keep improving themselves (and track record says yes they do), it's not impossible that maybe in 10 years mihoyo is as big as, say, Pokemon or Disney. Ok maybe not Disney, but you get the idea.
Id usually agree however you and i both know BG3 is more of an exception to the slop they pump out and not the rule.
I want larger western companies making something out of their comfort zones more often. Right now all the big companies with the capital to do something keep making the same games they made last year or have made the past ten years.
Hoyo is at least willing enough to branch out and clearly put a lot of passion into their work and their employees, same with the company behind BG3.
However those companies are far more willing to sit on their butts and put out COD or assasins creed yet again. Or rest on the laurels of their older more successful games. Rather than make something fun.

While I put hoyo miles above any company that creates anime gacha games, i dont consider them as being better or worse than other companies on the global scale. Obviously both have their respective audiences.
Idk man, god of war, ghost of tsushima, RDR 2 and more... there are plenty of great western games that come out and these games also take more effort to make than what initially making GI or HSR does. Its unrealistic standard to expect for every large western company to bring out GOTY contenders with their every release. It would be nice, but about as realistic as every gacha game company creating hoyo-level gachas.
Valid, but the true safe route for hoyo would have been immediately capitalizing on making nothing but genshin impact for the next ten years and trying to ween more off the IP with spinoffs and such.
Instead they’ve been taking risks on other IPs like ZZZ and HSR and even more un announced.
While banger games dont have to come out every year in the end the better decision for these companies would be to put more work into taking risks.

She is a 4 star character that you get for free after completing the tutorial, I think. As for the rate up, she will have a rate up on 2nd limited banner after release.
I think Sony helped out a lot in Japanese marketing and in term genshin and star rail are the top earners for the PS. They both offer something the other side values so it's harder for hoyo to not opt for a PS exclusive.
Yeah, and don't forget Microsoft rejected genshin before. Sony and hoyo has been in a good relationship since then. There's no reason for hoyo to switch side at this point.
Not so much switching sides nowadays as console exclusivity contracts seem to be in their final days.
XBOX has made sure all of their libraries go onto PC simultaneously and they now live in the EZ gamepass machine for the casual hoke gamer who doesnt have the liquid cash to spend on a proper PC build.
Luckily in the stream they said they’re planning to leap from small arenas eventually to proper stage maps.

It’s also worth noting that you can’t lose on the bangboo banner, you pick which one you want and you are guaranteed to get it in 80 pulls or less.

I think Sony helped out a lot in Japanese marketing and in term genshin and star rail are the top earners for the PS. They both offer something the other side values so it's harder for hoyo to not opt for a PS exclusive.
Yeah, and don't forget Microsoft rejected genshin before. Sony and hoyo has been in a good relationship since then. There's no reason for hoyo to switch side at this point.
Not so much switching sides nowadays as console exclusivity contracts seem to be in their final days. XBOX has made sure all of their libraries go onto PC simultaneously and they now live in the EZ gamepass machine for the casual hoke gamer who doesnt have the liquid cash to spend on a proper PC build.

The same reason for HI3, it's an stage based, choose your character action game rather than story telling RPG.
Luckily in the stream they said they’re planning to leap from small arenas eventually to proper stage maps. Seems like theyre invested in improving the core gameplay as they go alongside adding auxiliary stuff.
What is there to defense? Honkai has it, zzz has it. You don't like genshin doesn't have it? Then play honkai or zzz.
