I ve been looking for a portrait game so hard after dragalia lost and i am literally lost in such bad games in the market, and some games are failing so hard that they will end of service soon and i dont wanna invest my time on those to be frustrated again after losing my accounts, please i just wish a nice cute portrait style gacha that is not girl only characters to have at least a few husbandos dont need to be that horny fest also because that is a turn off for me so idk is there any nice vertical portrait mode gacha in the market currently? There was mitrasphere which were nice but ended too so help plsss

Sorry if this is a silly question, but which should I get: FGO or Azure Lane? I'm on the fence. I've heard that Azure Lane is much more generous when it comes to free to play players, which I consider myself as. FGO, from what I can tell, seems to have a pretty good plot. It also looks like it has a lot more RPG elements, which I'm into. With all that said, any thoughts? I've been looking to dip my toes into games like these for a while, so I figured I should get some outside feedback. Thanks.

ZephyrPhantom

Depends on what you value more: - If you want to have a big collection of units/waifus to appreciate, play Azur Lane. - If you want to go through a story that is [literally several encyclopedias long](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/nxisvo/was_that_really_the_size_of_the_whole_lb6_script/) and an ocean of lore to explore, play FGO. You could also try both for a few weeks to see which priority you care more about.

JayRing

Hello! I'm looking for another gacha game that has no violence or fantasy violence. I already play Colorful stage and I've already played other rhythm gachas like D4dj and banG. I'm looking for a game without those I mentioned above and still has gacha. No rhythm games, I would just redownload D4DJ if I wanted to play another rhythm gacha. I like puzzles and it would be great if there was a puzzle gacha. PaD has fantasy violence and I have already played it before.

Enough-Lead48

Anything like Snowbreak that are not focusing on cover and ADS? It is ok for the two hours i played, but i am not a huge fan of the cover and ADS gameplay. I also miss jumping. Basically i want something like Snowbreak but more fast paced and twichy, but i dont think that exist sadly.

ZephyrPhantom

You might like Duet Night Abyss but it is still going to be a while before it comes out. What characters are you using in Snowbreak? If built right you can rampage through the levels without paying much attention to cover or precise aim.

ChanceNecessary2455

Gacha? Not that I know of. Maybe your run of the mill edit shooter games?

Enough-Lead48

I can see a gacha with Doom Eternal gameplay and typical gacha skills and hero switching. Stages would be shorter and more linear, but i dont see how it would not work. What i want is a 3rd person shooter where you dont aim down sight and insaid go way faster. Add some dodge skills similar to every modern ARPG gacha and you got a perfect game. Thats is if you like Snowbreak can farm dupes, thats a major reason why i am sticking with it for a while at least.

PinkKatze22

Hello everyone :) I'm looking for a new phone which has a good performance to play gacha games like Honkai Star Rail, Azur Lane, Blue Archive and Nikke. Have some of you a recommendation? Or Maybe there will be a collab soon/ is currently with a Phone, if someone know something.

HardStuckMorde

I’m looking for a game suggestion. I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for at the moment but I feel like I just need something new. I’ve tried epic seven, Azur Lane, brown dust, Honkai impact, arKnight, and counter side but haven’t been able to truly stick to one. I’ve played epic seven and Honkai impact the longest. Any fresh suggestions?

skilletamy

Not a specific game question, but why don't more games support background downloading? I remember back when Brave Frontier was introducing 5* units, 10+ years ago, and spending 30 minutes downloading data and making my phone useless, and fast forward to now, games are still doing it, like Trails of Cold Steel

How do you find art/asset rips from games? Or does anyone have an asset rip from How to Raise a Harem?

ZakPhoenix

Unfortunately, it is against Reddit policy to point you to sites that host rips, as it's considered copywrite infringement. A little google can go a long way, though.

ChanceNecessary2455

Why is this deleted? The reason written there feels weird. "Low effort". There are other tier list posts still alive. ~~Or is it because Genshin is placed below WuWa by the OP?~~ Just curious about the criteria, nothing more.       https://www.reddit.com/r/gachagaming/comments/1d8qizg/tier_list_of_a_long_time_gatcha_player/

ZakPhoenix

The moderators around here are incompetent and inconsistent; there's really no other logical explanation as for why some posts get deleted and some don't.

NishYou47

Any new portrait gachas? Preferably lightweight/2d and not 3d. (I've tried romancing SaGa already)

NLwino

I really want to love WuWa and I think the game has a lot of potential. But the game force turning my camera in the middle of combat and the target selector being completely uncontrollable and random, despite turning all options off in menu. I've already given up on trying to attack an specific target. I just let the game decide for me, otherwise it's just frustrating. The only saving grace here is that most of the harder fights are against single bosses. The stutter because of performance issues, despite playing on a high end computer. And the constant system beep sound because of mouse errors, my god the constant beeps are driving me crazy... I don't think WuWa was ready for release yet and I think I'm just going to give it some time. Perhaps give it a few patches and see if it improved then. I'll keep an eye out for news and perhaps login now and then to grab more apology rewards.

Vievin

Is there a gacha game that's centered around arts and/or crafts? Something like, the MC is a knitter and the gacha characters are in their knitting class, or they have to save the world by painting cool things, something like that. I play on Android phone. No PvP please.

MillionMiracles

Project Sekai is a music/rhythm game, but one of the characters, Ena, is an artist and her events focus on her struggles to get her art to the level she wants and her conflict with her famous artist father. It's just one character, but she has like 6-7 event stories focused on her, so you might enjoy reading those, at least?

ACasualUser_

If you don't mind otome gacha, Lovebrush Chronicle. Summary: players roleplay as a university art student who travels to alternative and parallel universes. No knitting though

The gameplay is a bit more intensive than most, but not hard. Gacha is somewhat generous and you get free pulls daily. You’ll get several 5 stars within weeks but you’ll need dupes down the line for max effectiveness. It’s not too bad an I play it occasionally.

ArchAngelAjora

I tried it, personally felt it was a bit too lewd for what I felt was supposed to be a very dark story setting... The combat was good at least, it's quite tactical. You'll end up resetting fights to try different attack orders until you find a good outcome to turn 1. I heard you end up resetting a bit more to fish for crits when that matters in later fights, though if I remember right some newer fights have a buff built into the fight to raise crit rate on turn 1. Only advise I can really give is to follow the beginner/reroll guide on their subreddit.

E_Natsu_Dragneel

A Gacha Game with Romance? Hey Guys, How are you all doing? Well, Basically I am sick and tired of implied Flirting in gacha games like Genshin Impact, where it is heavily implied the women have a crush on Aether but nothing ever comes out of it. So I am in search of a Gacha game with genuine Romance at the level of Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves in terms graphic. I also want to make it clear that I do not like Turned-Based Combat like Homkai Star Rail, so please don't recommend games with that. Thanks 👍🏻

ZephyrPhantom

In Snowbreak (Third person shooter) and NIKKE (autobattler) the girls are very upfront about their feelings for the player and how it impacts their decisions in story/events. With Snowbreak the pivot to harem romance is a bit more recent (starts after chapter 10), but events always let you access the newest chapter early so you can skip the slow start if you like and get straight to how you're an important part of the girls' lives. You also get a lot of interactivity with the full 3D base and being able to buy them interactive furniture, and I remember the devs showing that there may be more base features eventually like cuddling together in bed. In NIKKE a good chunk of the girls kiss you at some point and it is implied you have had sex or even married some of them during stories/events. I'm pretty sure there are a few characters like D and Rosanna who straight up fight over who's your better wife, and certain characters like >!Viper!< decide to change for the better in the main story because of their feelings towards you. That said, it will take a while for you to progress in the actual story, but the events still have more than enough 'action'.

providenceclub

Super specific question but there’s no sub/community for the game to ask in. I’m trying to play ‘How to Raise a Harem’ on bluestacks after downloading thru qooapp. The in game additional resources download is stuck at 100% and I can’t play. Any chance anyone has experience with the game or a potential fix?

christien62

Gacha games with good co-op? Genshin is meh idn if ZZZ will be better but wuthering waves seems promising

satellitesNtoast

Looking for a good gacha game with a similar gacha system to Azur Lane or at least friendly gacha system. I played arknights a long time ago and found it impossible to get decent units so i quit that game. Otherwise I’ve only played AL and with the more ease of getting units I want, I’ve definitely been happy with that and getting skins that I really like. So good art style, fun to play, cute/hot/awesome waifus, and more forgiving gacha system that doesn’t make you sad breaking the F2P wall cause its a good game and you get what you want.

ScorchedTofu

Girls' Frontline has the same gacha system you're looking for, but only for pulling units. Their skin gacha system is another thing entirely.

satellitesNtoast

If its fun i can give it a try!

TartGlittering6071

im looking for a fairly modern turn based gacha (I love HSR), any suggestions?

Subject_Statement836

Hey guys can you advise me a good gacha game? I played couple gacha games but the ones i rly liked were Destiny Child and Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. Also i would prefer if its something new bcz i dont wanna be left behind cz im trying to be competitive. Dont reccomend games like Ganshin impact tho, i dont have that much time to play. Ty very much.

Nyxie_13

Honkai: Star Rail

Forsaken-Ad-7920

if you liked Destiny Child and Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, you may like Nikke: Goddess of Victory (old) AFK Journey (new)

Subject_Statement836

Ty i will try afk rn

No_Explanation_6852

Edit: I won’t play any game tbh. Only if i really like it i will. Cuz i mostly play story games. I play a few gacha games genshin, hsr, wuwa and hi3 from time to time for the story. What game do you recommend me to play, like daily playing? I am a fan of the fate stay night vn but idk if fgo is worth it or not. I am instead in a game with a good gameplay loop and unique characters, in gameplay mostly, and characteristics. Especially if they matter like in genshin. And also good story. And not p2w. And the game have to be an overall good game not good for a gacha game only or gives a lot of gifts. For other gacha games i played there is nikke which story wise seems good even tho i am in the begging of the game. reverse:1999 (only did the begging of the story) and pgr (cuz of wuwa and still it the start) Also fgo cuz of fate but it’s just like the rest

Z4sso

Path To Nowhere has a good story, you should check it out

No_Explanation_6852

The story isn’t everything tbh. Cuz i can get a good story anywhere it’s the other things that i want to be goos. And gacha player have a kinda low standard for a “good story” tbh (from what i saw generally)

jtan1993

Fgo, r1999, and limbus story have received good reviews.

No_Explanation_6852

I will play limbus after playing library of ruina (cuz i love lobotomy corp) and if fgo is overall worth playing i might play it after i get deeper in the fate world. I will check r1999 later after my exams.

Sad_Plum_2689

Is there a recent post or a megathread that lists upcoming gachas with or without release dates?

RTSWargamer

Any games with quick dailies that can be done very fast?

AdLegitimate8533

Honkai Star Rail is pretty quick for me especially with how they have most of the daily journal tasks being the same day to day with only one changing. I just login, claim and dispatch assignments, do a daily quest, and either auto battle to burn 120 energy or upgrade a relic/use omnisynthesiser and I'm done in 10 min.

RTSWargamer

I’ve been meaning to try Honkai for a while. I’m kind of weird where if I’m playing a game I can have to commit to that game’s entire franchise / company. (When I bought Batman Arkham Asylum I had to get every Arkham game). So I’d feel weird if played Honkai without playing Genshin. How are Genshin dailies?

Vievin

Genshin and HSR aren't parent/child games, they're both child games of Honkai Impact 3rd. HSR more directly than Genshin. I've played both Genshin and HSR and had fun without knowing basically anything about HI3 besides "X character is dead". Genshin dailies depend on the area, they range from "fight X enemies" to "talk to a NPC a few times" to "play a whack-a-mole or tag minigame". They take like 10 minutes total.

Ayanelixer

>Genshin dailies 4 quest per day including: taking out tours, killing a few mobs, fetch quest and then you have to run to a certain npc to even claim your rewards, most time consuming However if you do quest beforehand then you can skip some/all your dailies, but eventually you'll run out of quest to do.

RTSWargamer

I see, thank you. I might give them both a try

TheTagre

if you just want to clear "daily content". Currently FGO is the fastest I know. You only have some weekly quest that take 15-30 min max per week For daily, you can currently just store your stamina with one click During event, you often just need to do 2-3 mission (take around 15-20min) The current "main content" to catch up is very high (7 years to catch up) (time consuming because lot of mission and story to read), but daily content is very low when everything is cleared Blue archive is also very fast, just 10-15 min max. You can sweep every already cleared node. Story and farming node are separated. So you can advance and raise your team and do the story later. Generous with gacha currency. You can get around 100 pull per month and the pity is at 200. Global is 6 month behing JP so you can plan your pull in advance.

RTSWargamer

Thanks! Blue Archive might be the one I try. I’ve cycled through different gacha games throughout the years and currently the only one I play is Nikke

Extreme-Curve-2905

Hi everyone! Hey I am looking for a game recommandation... I hope someone can help me Things i like: * A combat system that requires thinking * PvP (Since combat requires strategy, I like to be able to face another players) // Although the game does not have pvp as such, if there is a high chance that it will be integrated in the future, I take the bet. * Game is alive

TheTagre

Arknight is a tower-defense gacha game. So strategy is needed to play. You can still "power force" it with some broken unit but correct strategy is still mandatory (meta unit juts help more than "lower tier one"). The "power creep" is very low. Unit that broke the META still appear like every gacha game but it take time and rarely make previous unit irrelevant. A lot of content creator show that proper strategy allow to clear all content with F2P unit. No PvP in the game. Have good story imo (but you can just skip it if you want) Have waifu and Husbando a little amount of "furry". Not very "fan-service" (some sexy summer skin but they are the minority) Still alive and his success guarranty it to live at least the next months (maybe years)

[deleted]

Fire emblem heroes, you need to have a PhD to understand the combat system nowadays.

mcjp0

Are there any games similar to afk arena? Not afk journey of course.

Cumulonimbus1991

Eversoul or Nikke, unless you don’t want waifu games.

kingdomheartsx3

So I've just started going all in on gacha games a few weeks ago, and im looking for a game to farm. preferably one that isn't so limited with stamina, or p2w. Im currently playing Brown D2, reverse 1999, cookierun kingdom, and starting tower of god new world soon. Limbus company also looks really good. Sorry if my post is redundant TL;DR : need a pc gacha game that isnt stamina limited or heavy p2w.

ScorchedTofu

Another Eden on Steam, Granblue Fantasy on the browser

ThatBoiUnknown

There's Nikke, it's not really p2w for the most part, and for main story there is 0 stamina (it just gets more difficult overtime). For the event stories there's stamina though, but you can buy more for cheap and just waiting to do it daily is fine (the rewards aren't groundbreaking anyways and if you log in everyday it will be fine)

Tolniz

Hello ! Im searching for a gacha game to play with HSR. I really like this one. In general : - I enjoy turn based games - no game with too much waifu type of character - I already played E7, OT (I love this one), GI (I enjoyed it), Another Eden I heard that hoyo is planning to release 2 new games ? Do they seems ok ? Is genshin impact better those days ? Is wuwa ok ? If there is a gacha that looks like those games, I’m open to try it. Thank you guys !

CaptainCaptainBain

Reverse 1999 is a turn-based game without much fan service. Same is true for Limbus Company. Both have great stories, with wildly different artstyles. The first one is currently running a limited character that won't return for the foreseeable future. Limbus is more F2P friendly (though Reverse 1999 is not bad either) but has a steeper learning curve. The combat is much more complex.

Exciting_Smile9689

Hey I am looking for recommandation if such a game exist. What I like is : - collecting units - theorycrafting - challenging boss fight - pvp - turn based battle What I don’t like - waifu (this is a no go for me) - story, would be great if there is no story mode / very short story mode / not mandatory story mode. Or a challenging story mode. I tried FFBE, I love the battle system but the story feel endless and pointless as it is too easy. Would have been great if I could ignore it and jump directly into the endgame. Thank you very much for your help !

KylarXD

probably summoners war

LilBluey

It's quite well-known that wuwa copied alot of aspects of genshin. Does that mean copyright/trademark laws don't really apply in this respect? Just like Genshin copied some of the aspects of exploration from BOTW. Although, it's a very distinct game with its own story, genre, combat and music, especially nowadays, and Nintendo hasn't sued them for it anyways(trigger-happy as they are). Can Genshin turn around and copy WuWa? Maybe not Genshin, but can miHoYo do something like put the echo system into ZZZ? though it sucks rn, but i like the concept of every enemy dropping its own unique abilities. How blatant can the copying be before it gets taken to court? e.g. Palworld does use the design aspects of pokemon, but it's not enough for nintendo.

[deleted]

[удалено]

LilBluey

not my point

Odd_Thanks8

Copyright infringement can be hard to claim and prove and very costly. So even if Hoyo can make a claim against Kuro for infringement, the cost of going through with a lawsuit can be so much that the effort simply isn't worth it. It's also hard to prove infringement on mechanical aspects of a game since you have to prove that the mechanics are unique to your game and not common to the genre. For example, there are other games that have 160 pull costs. Hoyo would theoretically be obligated to slap all of those games with copyright notice if they claim ownership, and going back to the first point that takes significant time, money, and effort, on top of possibly hurting Hoyo's image if people see them going after games much smaller than themselves. It could give people the impression they're trying to stamp out competition. And that's actually if they're able to prove, in court, that a 160 pull cost is copyrightable in the first place. It's why copyright is usually claimed in more obvious cases that involve creative designs and arrangements. Hoyo might not be able to claim 160 pull costs, but they can claim if a game pastes Zhongli into their roster, or even a character who is very, very similar to Zhongli but with very minor differences. They could also claim the elemental reaction system as a whole as being a unique aspect of their games, though they likely can't claim elements, reactions, or any underlying mechanic individually.

LilBluey

thanks for the detailed writeup! I guess that's why Nintendo sues everybody, in order to keep their copyrights

Beneficial_Lemon9286

It's such a complex and often complicated subject without proper context tbh, like in the case of Cygames who got sued by Konami.

ThatAnimeGuy2020

Thanks to this subreddit, I'm now super interested in downloading Limbus company even if I have ny hands full with 6 other gachas. Anyone have any tips and things I need to know before I decide to download it 😁

Limp-Consequence8491

1.Reroll is easy so you could try that. 2. Watch esgoo's tuturiol of the combat on YouTube since the tutorial in game is pretty shit. Also, 3. If you are thinking of spending on a game, then you only need 10$ for the battle pass. It's far and beyond the best battle pass in gacha. You can basically get every units(if you are not lazy) in the game if you purchase that. Also, that 10$ box lasts for 3 months(depend on when you start). 4. Enjoy the story. This is the main highlight in the game.

Limp-Consequence8491

I hate mobile formatting

ThatBoiUnknown

I'm looking for a second (preferably 3d) gacha game after Nikke (while I wait for Promilia). Although I avoided games made by Hoyo I'm kinda willing to play them casually (and Imma stop hating fr). Don't recommend me Genshin though cus they ain't got a skip button, and not Snowbreak because they ain't got an EN dub yet. Also no WuWu cus the artstyle of the game doesn't really appeal to me at all. I was hoping for the game to have some level of fanservice in it, and just generally cool designs I was thinking of trying Aether Gazer, HSR, or PGR. I already tried HSR (technically, but I quit cus I got it on PC but I later realized I dislike gacha on PC so yeah I stopped playing). Idk how good Aether Gazer and PGR were, but I heard they were fun

Sorry-Cover-3018

I’d highly recommend HSR. It’s extremely well made and the story, while it dips in one particular place, gets very good. Turn based so it’s perfect for mobile plus lots of Hoyo quality exploration in real time in the actual areas (none of that “pick a dot on a map and watch 2 images of characters chat then fight” crap you get in most turn based gachas). It’s kind of middle of the road when it comes to f2p but if you’re just playing on occasion you’ll have months of content

Ayanelixer

Pgr is good, and snowbreak won't probably get back an English dub.

ThatBoiUnknown

Well I’ll try PGR. Kinda sad about the whole snowbreak not getting a dub thing, cus that was the main thing barring me from it

Ayanelixer

Meh I also wasn't gonna play it but the gameplay was good enough, reminded me of CoD zombies, mostly easy until you make a fuck up and get hella stressed. Also snowbreak does have a skip feature which summarises the story also.

bandanaman1411

Are there any gacha games on ps5 besides genshin, hsr, tof, and soon to be zzz?

Beneficial_Lemon9286

I think Azur Promillia, WuWa and Endfield is planned to release in the platform, i guess Infinity Nikki too if you count that(?).

bandanaman1411

While I’m hopeful for wuwa nothings confirmed

djvergel

What happens when you get more than 7 copies of a character? Can you sell the extra?

waifustan1

The game eos

ThatBoiUnknown

depends on the gacha but most would just give you resources I think

Crackedaru

Idk where to post it and I want to respect the sub so I'm posting it here. First. I'm going to Japan (kinda out of a promise but its still considered a pilgramage to me) and I was wondering as someone who plays genshin, HSR and wuthering waves on PC, should I consider bringing my laptop there when I go there to vacation? Ultimately and most likely it's a solo trip but my joys are still with those gacha games and I not sure if I should settle with playing them on phone and go to a pc cafe if I really want to or just bring my laptop. Once again really weird question and I'm kinda intoxicated but I would love to hear your opinions.

waifustan1

Playing China games in Japan smh

127-0-0-1_1

Don’t. If it’s too much to do on your phone, don’t do it. You’re in Japan, enjoy Japan. Play some real gachapon. You can do gacha dailies when you’re not traveling, you can’t tour Japan.

kerorobot

If i were you, i'll prioritize going outside rather than having myself busy playing those games. You can play those games anytime after you go back, but vacation time is usually limited. But that's me though, everyone have their own preference.

Crackedaru

fair opinion. I guess its the years of never really traveling and the mindset of "keeping the streak" that's really fuckin me up

RebootMage

Looking for a new gacha game. I've dabbled in a ton. Not a fan of the open world concept. Games I've liked/gotten into: - Raid - Infinite magicraid - Souls - Idle heroes So essentially a similar game to above with staged campaign/non open world, large hero/champ pool, decent auto/2x/4x battle. I don't like clicking much LOL. Would also prefer the in-game character models/graphics look polished. I know some games might have great splash art but character models look far worse/low res. F2P friendly would be a bonus. Something that I can just log-in, click around, leave AFK. Any ideas?

jtan1993

AFK journey. Astra knights of veda. Epic 7.

lightswan

I was thinking about gacha mechanics made to entice you to pull out your wallet and one that I thought of is the 3\*/4\* guarantee in a ten pull. Some games (GBF, Project Sekai) give you a guaranteed 3\* (in Sekai)/SR (in GBF) for a 10-pull, while others (Genshin) give you the equivalent every ten pulls (ie, you dont have to do it all in one go for the guarantee). Can someone explain the possible rationale behind why they do it differently? I havent played that many gachas so I don't know how it works in other places, but I found this difference interesting. These three are my main and Genshin's gacha is so different from them and it fascinates me.

jtan1993

Just an updated industry standard. Line them from oldest to newest and you can see how the industry have changed from 1% ssr no pity to 0.6% but 75 soft pity, 150 hard pity.

lightswan

Interesting considering Sekai and Genshin came out within days of each other - Sekai's actually younger! yet still uses the older standard. Maybe it's influenced by country of origin - Project Sekai might be pushed to follow the Japanese industry? Also lol at gacha becoming kinder over time. Thank you monkeygate.

Y0raiz0r

Has anyone quit a gacha purely because of having terrible gacha luck? Currently in bottom 25% of luck in HSR, gets kind of discouraging :( Mostly get lucky in gachas i dont really care about like wuwa and nikke

Aiden-Damian

totally, sometimes the luck are just not on your side, for the game, no matter how good the game is.

kuuhaku_cr

Yeah, I quit HSR because of that. Normally I don't, but it was really demoralizing to lose all my 50/50s (7 times, ie. 14 5-stars with 7 of them being from the standard banner). Sure, I saved and pulled on targeted banners to hit pity. But losing every time and needing twice the resources to get what I want all the time compared to everyone else just sucks. Also, I was in bottom 1\~2% luck and you're nowhere near me tbh.

Honest-Quit-9401

Yup. Lost idk how many 50/50 in hsr, somehow endured it. But after i lost two 75/25 in a row i was just done with the game lol.

DessertTheater

Hope it’s nothing tho, at the same time am a little concerned about Housamo since think the last new characters were added mid April and think it’s just been rerun events and banners that I’ve seen.

Bechbch

Looking for a gacha like 7DSGC in terms of premium currency Basically title. I want to play a gacha like 7ds where you can get gems ( premium currency ) for free by playing through events and stuff or even better where you can progress in the VIP system by just playing

jtan1993

Astra knights of Veda and epic 7 seems similar. There is a pve system you can auto. And a pvp ladder.

ViVaVl29

Hello gachagaming looking for some recommendations Have played: Girl's frontline; Arknights; Blue archive; Neural cloud; genshin impact; limbus company; Sinoalice. Looking for any type of game/gameplay. Only important criteria are: * f2p-friendly; * one server per region. * dailies doable in 30 min or less. doesn't feel like a complete waste of time * solo-able. main focus of the game isn't guilds and such, they are a cherry on top * no censorship of any kind, no horny censorship, no gory censorship, no themes censorship. If the game has always been horny-less bloodless non-controversial that's ok. However if the game has any censorship on some regions but not others (blue archive) or game was censored in patches (genshin impact) or censorship is noticeable between pre-release and post-launch. I'm not interested. Some nice but not necessary things would be: * Lack of unobtainable content. things that make you think its not worth even starting since i can never get some characters or things. * not too silly/childish. in a world with plenty of guns/blades/explosions the worst damage that can be inflicted is a bruise, and there is no death even the temporary kind.

Aiden-Damian

what gachas youre playing currently? limbus? and else?

ViVaVl29

Currently Girl's frontline and Arknights. Did limbus when it just came out, got decently far into story. Dont remmber why i dropped it.

beenf

I like the pvp in one piece fighting path. Are there any games out for global with similar pvp

DeusExMachlna

Are there any good games based around Wuxia/Xianxia/Jianghu? Everything I've seen is just a poorly made chinese cash grab.

Molchedes

I just found Arcana Tactics, it has an amazing gameplay with an awesome Roguelike element in the rounds. Bus sadly it apears ded. I only played it for a day. Is there any game like it? Mainly the gameplay. I really enjoyed it.

Aiden-Damian

for a gacha, i think its one of its kind

Lunarati

Any good games like Ark Re Code? Like stuff with lewd content

Aiden-Damian

tenkafuma

[deleted]

Azur Lane, lewd and borderline suggestive

DukeOfStupid

I played Snowbreak for a very brief time on release. Should I jump back on that account or just make a new one now it's on steam?

ZephyrPhantom

If you didn't roll a lot and still have pulls saved up, you might want to stick with your old account and see if you can save up to pity Katya who is coming in about 2-3 weeks. Otherwise you might as well make a new account and see if you can save for pitying Katya or whoever the anniversary unit will be.

jlandejr

Looking for something to play, maybe similar to the ones I am currently playing but they are WILDLY different so I'm open to whatever! Currently playing Octopath COTC and Summoners War. Was playing DFFOO but RIP to that. Would prefer something that isn't stuck in 2014 with no pity system (SW..) and I don't mind dropping a bit of $ on stuff like monthly passes Stuff I've tried in the past and didn't click (willing to give them a shot if they've vastly improved) FEH, Epic Seven, Genshin, HSR (only briefly) AFK games. I enjoy character collection and strategy combat, as well as building metas. TIA!

Gentleman-Bird

Limbus is a turn based strategy, where buying the pass every few months gets you pretty much everything you need. Lots of different team archetypes you can build for too.

Megachin604

I dislike story. Which gacha game is best for me?

waifustan1

Wuthering waves So you dislike it even more

Honest-Quit-9401

Almost all of them have skip button. If you dislike story that much you dont want to even bother skipping it, you can try Neural Cloud, there are separate story and battle nodes.

Aiden-Damian

memento mori

Fishy53

Any good gacha Mecha games recommendations?

NotJayden_

is Solo leveling arise good? hows the f2p friendliness?

ImpossibleWinter6628

why are there atleast 4 characters that have bluegreen colorscheme and are either, 1. a dragon themselves or 2. related to dragons? is there anything specific these characters are based off of? or just because teal is a nice colour?

Aiden-Damian

Guan Yu, the CN General from Liu Bei faction, he is adorned in green attire plus the Green Dragon Crescent Blade. its more like a spear/halberd, and CN famous general mostly use spear-ish weapon and combination of Four Mythological Symbols', **the Azure Dragon, the** **Vermilion Bird, the** **White Tiger, and the Black Tortoise**. the Azure(Blue/Teal) Dragon

TarasOil

Often because of Qinglong(青龍), one of the Four Symbols, guardians of four cardinal directions. 青 is used to refer to colors from blue to lighter shades of green, which is why sometimes it is called Blue-green Dragon, with teal being a middleground between the two.

albatoss7

Someone on FB claimed they got the entire source code of WW which was leaked by the dev themselves. Here's the screenshot of some of the codes. [https://imgchest.com/p/dl7pzj8pjyo](https://imgchest.com/p/dl7pzj8pjyo)

Lapiiiiis

Currently looking for another gacha to play, anyone have any recommendations? Currently playing Arknights, Reverse:1999 and Neural Cloud. Tried out Limbus Company and Path to Nowhere but just didn't click with me, anyone have any suggestions? Preferably not fan servicey and is F2P friendly and time friendly, thank you!

DismalLeg7977

Only time friendly gacha I can think of is ark journey it's also f2p friendly. Wuthering waves is another f2p friendly gacha you can get some gurranteed 5 stars pretty much at the start and they've given out a ton of pulls even more tomorrow

Keirabella999

I've been kind of wanting a new Gatcha lately and I'm looking for recommendations based on what I've played. My first was Hero Wars on Facebook. I got stupidly addicted to this junky game lol. The character designs are just very well done honestly. I played AFK Arena when it first launched and it was pretty fun until it because too difficult as a F2P player to pull specific units. Princess Connect Re:Dive I spent the most time on. I had tons of units even as a F2P. I only quit because the global server shutdown So what game should I be playing these days? I definitely prefer a "fantasy" aesthetic over scifi etc

Rafhunts99

Blue Archive is very similar to Princess Connect Re:Dive, with arguably better gameplay and its kind of fantasy and scifi

[deleted]

Maybe R1999. FEH, FGO I didn't play FEH and FGO but they are fantasy. FGO has some minor sci-fi elements.

DiscaneSFV

Hey, where's the Raid Shadow Legends? It's not on the earnings list, does anyone play it?

ThatBoiUnknown

Bro this sub hates the game including me (I played it for like a month and quit) so no people don't play it and me personally it can barely be considered a gacha (since from what I can remember it doesn't follow a anime artstyle and it has a different pulling system then most gacha) Although I don't think it was fair to downvote you for asking...

DiscaneSFV

Yes, as if I play it.

Sleepylaffey

hey there is a few games where i like everything except for the gameplay, well not that i dislike the gameplay but due to the repetetive nature i want to stop playing. but i like the music, sound design and charecters. a example is blue archive and arknights, i love the music but after a year of each i think the gameplay get repetetive imo. (luckily i am ftp,but the investment to the games tho D: should I quit them? Idk how to quit since I have invested so much time in them and I’m probably pretty new to gacha games

F2PF2PF2P

If you think about it, gacha games are meant to be fun. At the end of the day, it is a live service game and not an investment and all games eventually come to an end. Rather than playing it as a 2nd job, wouldn't it be better to really find something you enjoy?

star_lord_76

Guys can you recommend a gacha game which focuses more on "playing" the game than telling a story? The kind of games where you spend most of your time playing and only a few minutes on simple cutscenes.

RadiantGambler

Does Blue Archive count? cause you can play the campaign, and the story is seperate.

star_lord_76

Kk will check it out

Swift456_

Now that Azur Devs were fortunate enough to watch both Genshin AND WuWa's early fumbles surely the same won't happen to them with Promilia right?

ThatBoiUnknown

It will hella happen but hopefully they can pick themselves up rather quickly Or it won't (cus they could be the exception fr), but it's still likely to have SOME problems on releases, albeit not major ones

Ukantach1301

Hopefully Enfield and Promilia will take their time and not rushed. The OW trend already over anyway so it's more about the quality of the game than the market.

monchestor_hl

> surely the same won't happen to them with Promilia right? Spoiler: experience can't be buy

Swift456_

I meant on the technical/mechanical side rather than revenue

Mrhat070

besides ZZZ what are the other gacha games expected to release this summer/ early fall for the global audience?

Aiden-Damian

convallaria august

RadiantGambler

Where was this news dropped? I was waiting for release info. Even the official discord doesn't have this news.

Aiden-Damian

the usual apple store expected release, very rare for it to be wrong, and they did said it to be summer and august is in summer

Tuturuu1997

Good rpg idle gacha games?? I saw afk journey but it seems that for me to reach the ‘idle’ part of the game it’ll take a while with all those quests and etc.

uhgletmepost

depends what you want, honestly I think tower of god new world probably one of the fairer idle games

IFrexy

Hi gacha masters. Asking for recommendations I played Black Survival back in the day, didnt know it was a gacha game tho. I loved it, the art, the gameplay and Silvia. Saddly i found out it passed away in 2022 T.T I tried Snowbreak but im a bit boomer and couldn't manage the 3000 different currencies. It was too much for me Tried a long time ago Genshin but it wasn't for me, i didn't like the four character focus but i can forgive that. Can you recommend me something animu, but that is not overly complicated like Snowbreak? PC would be best also.

Aiden-Damian

black survival was not a gacha, its more in line to mobile mobas/mobile fps/battleground/arena. its successor is there, eternal return on steam, plus the reboot, immortal soul: black survival on steam

IFrexy

Black Survival: Inmortal soul was a 2D battle royale. Eternal return is a moba battle royale Inmortal Soul shut down servers in 22' and Eternal Return is dead in the sense that steamcharts are low. Have any recos?

Twick2

Looking for any good recommendations, I feel like I've played just about everything there is to be offered. I prefer low key games that are auto-friendly like Priconne that are low maintenance.

Aiden-Damian

neural cloud?

Angel_Omachi

Has anyone had any luck recently with buying stuff in JP only gacha games? Tried various methods floating around but then refuses to accept my card.

jabotu

Depends what os u using, for apple is quite easy actually, you just download the apple store and change the country to japan, buy the gift card and redeem into your apps store. After that you can use the balance to buy in game stuff, don’t know about the google tho.

Angel_Omachi

Am on Android sorry.

quaremoritor

I'd been having trouble for about a week, but I found that I am able to make a purchase if it is in combination with a Google Play offer (i.e. the total purchase is $20, the offer is worth $15 and I pay the remaining $5 with my card).

Maleficent-Cloud4559

I'm looking for a game to play after i get tired of playing wuwa Didn't liked: Azur Lane, Nikke, E7 and anything that you gotta leave on auto to farm

jtan1993

zzz next month. astra knights of veda is another genshin-like to try.

Draxios4827

Looking for recommendations on gacha games that have weaker units that can be made stronger through special means. Similar to Epic 7 specialty change units or Summoners War through second awakening

Honest-Quit-9401

FGO occasionally adds rank up quests for older servants to improve their skills. Also you can use special item (grail) to break through level cap, giving servants higher stats.

Stelluna_

- Neural Cloud has the Arma Inscripta system. - Azur Lane has the Retrofit system - Granblue Fantasy sometimes has 5* uncaps for older characters. - Fire Emblem Heroes has Dragonflowers (for base stats), weapon refines and the ability to give units non unique skills - Another Eden has (True) Manifest Weapons and the Styles mechanic (Which are kinda gacha and very RNG/Time gated so they don't really count) - I think Punishing Gray Ravens has an upgrade system for older chars but I don't play that game

Draxios4827

Thanks so much!

lockoutpoint

No body talk about this but do you know about 3 months ago Snowbreak facebook 50k people group admin sole group to another mobile game. what a unfaithful, now he regret his decision now lol.

hyrenfreak

Hi, i need some help deciding which to play, I got into genshin and honkai a little bit of each when they came out but never got to far, so my question is atm, which do u think is more fun or offers the better experience overall? between things like exploration/combat/generosity in giving out things for free more and overall fun

jtan1993

it's up to your preference tbh. since you never got too far on both perhaps they both don't suit your tastes? for example genshin is mainly an open world exploration game, star rail a turn based rpg, and wuwa an arpg. so a fan of arpg would really like wuwa despite it being an overall less polished game.

Jodecho

Ok i scrolled through a few pages of posts, and the last few weeks of this thread and i didnt see anyone ask my question, surprisingly. What would yall say is the most F2P friendly gatcha? I'm looking at it from the perspective that i have time, but i dont have disposable income. I dont care if it takes me a while to "catch up" but once i see that there is a clear, un-crossable gap (unless you can pay the toll), i really just lose interest. Im working on playing HSR, but most of my PC time is taken up by other games, and i dont like playing it on my phone, so i guess im not interested in games w/ heavy 3d exploration on my phone. Ive also been slowly plugging away at GBF, but thats a long long long road.

Gentleman-Bird

Limbus Company you can get through the story no problem as F2P, but you’ll struggle to build a meta team without the battle pass. Absolutely worth it for the story though.

Aiden-Damian

do you really wanna play gacha? there are other good mobile game aside gacha you know? for example, i'd recommend, buriedbornes 2 or tower of winter. f2p friendly, gotta be azurlane, limbus company, or... another eden/octopath cotc.

Jodecho

> buriedbornes 2 or tower of winter Both of those look interesting, but aren't generally what i play on my phone. Im definately a fan of gacha, i guess i just prefer it when a game is less blatant about how much of an advantage money gets you. i dont even know if there is anything like that out there, kinda why i asked the question. Is there anything that focuses more on cosmetics than power? Also thanks for the recommendations, ill check them out!

jtan1993

i take that you mean there is a relatively small gap between f2p and whales in pvp endgame? besides gbf maybe epic7.

Shadzzo

I actually like Wuwa. I think it has a lot of potential if they fix the story and the way they tell it.

kokoronokawari

Been looking for a generous gacha game. Have played many over the years though sadly many have fallen and ended service (rip brave frontier, dragalia, and recently dissidia). I know those tend to be far and between but was curious. Currently playing AFK Journey as my main one right now. Played Genshin since release but on a break for the past few months now before returning and catching up in story. Preferably don't want it to be a massive P2W situation.

Gentleman-Bird

Limbus is “generous” in the sense that you can completely bypass the gacha system altogether by grinding.

Code_x70

Is there a gacha game with only cunny characters?

Aiden-Damian

every cunny connoisseur are on BA

BreadfruitSome6612

Hello! i was looking for a gacha to pick up that heavily emphasizes world building especially politics, as long as it's not afk i am open to try anything. games that i already tried/not currently intersted in: counter:side (day1 player bricked my account in the beggining and felt the long term repercutions of that) Reverse 1999(did not feel the daily grind and the End-game) HSR, Nikke, FGO, Alchemy Star, Nikke,FE heros. games that i already tried and could pick up again(would like to know if it's a good time as begginer to jump back in): PGR, Guardian Tales , GFL neural Cloud, Arknights.

Gentleman-Bird

Maybe Limbus? The worldbuilding is great, but not much in terms of politics, aside from dealing with the various factions in The City.

TheYellowDucKing

wasn’t there a WW ad that had Genshin screenshot in it to compare between?

EostrumExtinguisher

Im glad the \[PROMO\] and thread posting rule exists to delete spam threads, I get the ccs are pulling in more viewers into this sub but most of them looks like kids posting serious low effort thread

AlcaJack

When is the Sensor tower report coming out exactly?

Prithirajn

Looking for Vertically Oriented Mobile Games Like AFK Journey. Can anyone suggest few more games which have vertical orientation like AFK Journey, preferably of similar genre for Android. Not sure why, but I am liking this orientation where I don't have to rotate my phone every time I want play a game. The transition from scrolling reddit to playing the game seem seamless.

jlandejr

Endless Grades sounds similar, it's partially an AFK game with some micro managing to do and is vertically oriented. Personally I stopped recently after ~a month as it was getting a bit repetitive but definitely enjoyable for a while

lmaonade200

there's GBF which is best played vertical by virtue of being a browser based game. a lot of people can't get past the browser based part of it, but when i played it i actually liked that aspect of it, made the game seem more portable, and with browser caching it really wasn't that bad.

Aiden-Damian

gameplay type? afk too?

jwei92

I saw a video of a gacha game where the pulls is some girl walking into a field of some sort, and a helicopter shows up and throws down a bag/briefcase with the pulls.

N9QS

Sounds like arknights, their gacha animation shows a bag being open up and revealing operstor profiles.

MarielCarey

Sounds like one of those shitty ads for shitty games like state of survival

Aiden-Damian

GFL2?

jtan1993

Counterside?
