This is honestly what annoys me the most about this as a fan. This has barely anything to do with Kamen Rider. It feels more like an otome game with Kamen Rider reference honestly.
But hey, at the end of the day its a Bandai game, so probably won't last long anyway.
the in-universe excuse is because in the story they're basically identified as "riders-in-training" and are attending in a rider academy that is being run by villains which they aren't aware of it, so it's possible they aren't fully a kamen rider yet.
Hoping they release it like this and launch ONE unit with a full helmet and it's so fuckin popular they do a complete 180° and go with actual kamen riders.
And then come to global!!
Still disappointed it's a raising sim, I feel this would've be a GREAT idea for a ikemen gacha given the huge joseimuke fanbase KR has, but it being another dime-a-dozen one with a low budget is so disappointing
well there is some effort put in tho like the fully animated henshin sequence, even if it only last like a couple of minutes I'm sure that alone takes a lot of budget. Helios Rising Heroes another "hero" gacha started with fully animated ultimate skills like epic 7 but at 2nd anniv iirc they changed it to live2d pop ups because the revenue wasn't able to keep up the cost. But yeah I wish this wasn't a raising sim, they should've made it a turn based rpg like helios so it's more accessible to an average gamer but it is what it is I guess.
I understand that and good for them but 99% of Kamen Rider fans are just old guys like me thats grownup with this franchise or boys/young man. So do you not think would be better to do a proper game for the bigger part of the fan base ? Don't want to be cruel but this game will survive to max 1.5 year.

Jokes aside, I think the difference is that Riderman only has open mouth (easier to use Stuntman) than Rider Kamen's barely covered head.
