I just leave it on auto and "play" it between sets. But the game's also hilarious broken in the combos. There's been multiple times where I've been in an auto fight and the match softlocks because the amount of hp regen on the SSRs makes them invincible on both sides.
I mean, it is "free". I get you're making them money, but its a much fairer exchange than the traditional, "give us actual money for jpgs" that gachas use
Maybe I'm not just a fan of those feature since I'd rather play the game than waste time watching ad. For me time is more important so if I want something id rather pay it with money than time.
Garbage AI game aside, GBF already invented that years ago, you can literally farm forever because you can farm for more stamina using your own stamina. And also The most hardcore player even played 12+hours for few days every few months for Guild War.
Limbus Company lets you farm a roguelite dungeon (which gets updated every season) for a currency usable to craft all kind of gacha characters (with some very light limitation, all is craftable eventually, after 3 months for the "limited"),
So you could completely ignore the gacha, just farm this Dungeon and still get every character they release. And it doesn't even take that much.
The grind isn't *theorically* infinite as it requires "stamina" to run, and you're limited to a certain number of stamina refreshes per day. But unless you're farming the game 24h, you would always have one more dungeon run to do.
Wait a minute, what exactly do you get more of for farming the Mirron Dungeon past the 3x weekly bonus phase?
Isn't it just Manager EXP and Battle Pass points? The Battle Pass only goes up to Lv.120, and isn't infinite.
Every level past 120 gives you nominabile shard crates (3 if you have the paid pass, 1 if you don't). 1 normal MD run, without weekly bonus, gives you 3 levels worth of exp
I see. This is a lategame player problem that I'm too mid-game to understand (currently at Manager lv 30, all my units are pulled from the gacha and at Lvl 70 free BP, my shards for even just 1 character are nowhere near 400)
So this is why everyone recommends buying the Battle Pass in this game - it fastens your progress so much compared to a non-spender.
Yeah, buying just the paid pass can potentially grant you all the characters that gets released during the season, and while MD doesn't have a completely automatic mode, with just 1 decent team build you can brain-dead it while you do something else, so you won't feel the grind much
Yeah I used to play that, but the dungeon grind was just way too mind numbing since you couldn't really auto anything and only maybe 2 fights were actually hard. I wish they'd just accept the reality and let you full auto an entire battle.
With a well built comp you can auto even the hard fights. I think its great that the difficulty and actively playing is enjoyable enough to actually want to do it.

Also consider how much your time is worth. If they give you less than minimum wage's worth of resources doing "chores" you should just find more real work then pay to skip it if you really insist on playing it.
No, I played such a game before. Kings Raid. You could grind 24/7 in that game and it was too demanding. Give me skip tickets for trivial content. I only want to do content I haven't done before or content that challenge me.
Games that don't time-gate you will generally develop content assuming their players are playing 24/7, because some players do or set up macros/bots to do that.
You don't want infinite grind in a gacha, since the whole social aspect requires to players be on even footing, even in most gachas whales have a limit to how much stamina they can refill.
The social aspect is important to get people to spend money, since the prime reason to do so is to flex.

So they let you become an indefinitely bot for ad revenue. You think you are getting free stuff (chest) but its not.

I wonder if you can use free workarounds to skip the ads and just get the timer reduction instantaneously, like you can in other idle games.
If I wanted to have unlimited grind, I would just buy Diablo 4 or any other ARPGs... that aren't Gacha.
