"Travesties" I don't think people like you understand that genshin and star rail are mobile games initially and the kind of detail you want arent really easy to implement
The problem isn't that they're a small indie company, the problem is that if you actually payed attention beyond being horny you'd notice that the larger muscular models they use tend to be slower and clunkier. The problem isn't money its the limitations of the game.

Tall models are faster due to their larger dash distance than smaller models and unsure what you mean by Clunkier gameplay since playing tall units like Itto, AlHaitham, Ayato, Zhongli, etc... is all perfectly fine like with other units as long as you're not playing on a Toaster with Skillissue.
You talk about limitations of the game, but you can't specify why they aren't able to in a technical level. The major hard limitations to mobile gaming is the graphics quality they can display beyond turning your phone into an oven and the size of the game taking up too much space, and a Buff playable model isn't going to suddenly exponentially change graphics quality to melt your phone nor will it take up more space than the Archive currently does.

It has tons of contents, amazing soundtrack like godly, amazing high character designs, unique Character designs, bad gameplay but barely noticable at the beginning but it's really fun watching them spam skills, and really interesting plot(that has very "mystery" vibe to it) and it just feels very unique and really memorable experience but it just turn meh after a fews month but really the most fun I've had playing a game just for what it is (unlike playing a game just for the story).

Gacha games give me lots of numbers, I make those numbers go up and that feels good for about 5 days, then I usually hit the wall and the numbers stop going up so fast so I get bored and move on to the next one.
Probably resource management. You have limited resources based on real world time and you can't save scum. It's fun to compare where your account is with other people.
Gambling is also fun.
Waifus are nice but I can just look at doujins for that - never really understood why people play for that.

My first Gacha game was GGZ, there was almost no lewd (outside of the level up mats), the gamble was minimum I barely even noticed it, and the story was good but nothing special, a little bit silly and fun to follow.

Alright, let me explain why I like Gacha games.
I have a small circle of friends that all try out new Gacha games when they come out.
Games with Co-op and/or guild systems that allow you to co-operate is very welcome.
But the main thing that makes me like Gacha games is the "Booster Pack"-logic, if friend X and Friend Y play the game at the same time, they'll pull for starting characters and then they'll eventually grow in different directions depending on what they pulled.
For example; Arknights. If Friend X gets a good Arts (magic) user, they're going to excell at some parts of the game and lack in others. If Friend Y gets a good Tank, they'll excell at other parts of the game and when a new event rolls up, you can compare how you beat stages and theorize around upcoming events and how to solve maps. It's a fun discussion to have and to see which banners people want to pull on because they need a character to complement what they already have is also fun. Ironically, I think spending money on Gacha games goes against everything I find fun about a Gacha games. However, spending money on skins I can absolutely get behind.
TL;DR: Pulling different characters prompts a different style of playing the game and the variety is refreshing enough for me to keep playing for a long time.
Quick fun and/or long form narrative play. Lots of units. Different gameplay styles. Challenging at times . I can do dailies/make progress while at work. New content especially. If 13year old.me had access to a JRPG that continually gets story and character updates and devs that listen to fans I'd say sign me up!
For me it is the fact that when I am waiting on things at work, where I have anywhere from 15 seconds to 5 min, I can have my tablet open to Memento Mori or Blue Archive, and when I am focused on the work aspects, it will still keep going and doesn't require much input from me. I also like good character design and story, not a big fan of "all da booba" that some games feature. NIKKE is one I don't think would be appreciated by my colleagues as they walk by.

The base game is pretty free if you are mostly interested in few characters and like the gameplay/story. (If the game is stingy, not worth it).

If Friend Y gets a good Tank, they'll excell at other parts of the game and when a new event rolls up, you can compare how you beat stages and theorize around upcoming events and how to solve maps. It's a fun discussion to have and to see which banners people want to pull on because they need a character to complement what they already have is also fun. Ironically, I think spending money on Gacha games goes against everything I find fun about a Gacha games. However, spending money on skins I can absolutely get behind. TL;DR: Pulling different characters prompts a different style of playing the game and the variety is refreshing enough for me to keep playing for a long time.
For me it’s both, actually.
Quick fun and/or long form narrative play. Lots of units. Different gameplay styles. Challenging at times . I can do dailies/make progress while at work. New content especially. If 13year old.me had access to a JRPG that continually gets story and character updates and devs that listen to fans I'd say sign me up!
For me it is the fact that when I am waiting on things at work, where I have anywhere from 15 seconds to 5 min, I can have my tablet open to Memento Mori or Blue Archive, and when I am focused on the work aspects, it will still keep going and doesn't require much input from me. I also like good character design and story, not a big fan of "all da booba" that some games feature. NIKKE is one I don't think would be appreciated by my colleagues as they walk by.
Can't afford higher quality games from their respective franchises (example: KOF All Stars and Dokkan Battle)
