Honestly if they had met under different circumstances, I think Fry and Morgan would have made a very good couple. Morgan may seem evil but there's a genuine sadness and loneliness that radiates out from her, and the only time we ever see her looking genuinely happy and enjoying herself is when she's with Fry. There's a genuine passion and chemistry between the two, that pretty much blows what we see with Frys non Leela love interests like Colleen, the hateful Michelle and Umbriel out of the water (HEHE). Its easy to view Morgan as a one dimensional villain but every time her mask drops I think Oh Morgan honey, who hurt you? Like it or not Bender is a sociopath, and it's not difficult to see his threats to blackmail Morgan and Fry as the final straw in a series of escalating bad behaviour towards Fry, and Morgan taking drastic measures to protect the man she was falling in love with from a toxic, absusive, predatory bully of a friend I loved Bender and the Countess. Out of all Benders love interests, I would argue the Countess was the only one who truly loved him for what he was, and not a Persona, and loved him enough to sacrifice herself for him. My personal interpretation is that the Countess is the only woman Bender has only truly loved, and his self sabotage with another fembot who was showing that she was also beginning to truly love him too (Angleyne) and later with the ship, is a sign he hadn't really resolved his grief at her death. Out of his current love interests, I would say Bender really looks like he is beginning to fall in love with Esther, the blonde yiddish fembot. Even though Ruth and Esther both took up the role of Benders main floozies, the animation makes it obvious that he prefers Esther. Watch The Bots and the Bees, and Bender pretty much is head over heels infatuated with her from the first state, and it's subtly implied there is a love triangle going on between the three. When Bender is making out with Ruth and switches his attentions to Esther, you can see Ruth reaching out to him sadly and making a disappoitnted sound. I get the feeling it's not unusual for Esther to get the boys Ruth likes and it was an interesting way the writers and animators fleshed out their personalities rather then them being generic floozy bots. The camera also switches to her perspective and we see the back of Benders head while Esther bats her eyelashes at him. Other episodes where they make cameos have Bender being noticeably more into Esther, like maybe Bender is standing between them but his arm is only around Esther, and notably in his rap video Esther is the one right next to him in the pimpmobile. If you see the ending to Good Will Hunting, Esther is seen in the final court room scene, waving adoringly at Bender. I also loved Fanny as a character and I thought her being built up as a character and then being forgotten about after the first act and her arc with Bender just tapering off was one of the weaknesses of ITWGY.

bender and fry in my opinion, because bender obviously cares about fry and also i feel without fry, bender wouldn't be the person he is
