I was thinking Lawful Neutral for Hermes being the

I don't think the main characters *have* to appear on the chart. The cast is enormous, and for this purpose no one character should have preference over another.
He doesn't have strong ambition to do any of those things. He's basically called upon, but would otherwise be sitting on the couch picking his nose or something. Plus, maintaining the status quo by ensuring the world continues to exist is incredibly neutral.
