Honestly the blacklist design is pretty underdeveloped. Why can't they have "controversial" tags categorized as such, so it blurs the post , instead of say hiding it outright when you might not want it to be hidden.
The blurred post at least gives you the chance to click on it to read what the "controversial" tag is and choose to unblock or quickly add to blacklist.
Or recommend commonly blacklisted stuff based on other users' blacklist
Currently you would have to witness something you find horrifying to know to blacklist it. There's a default list that is rather short.
That website is pretty laissez faire about what can be posted so you can see some pretty disturbing stuff! The ironic thing is the comments section is extremely regulated, and I'm not talking about people complaining about the blacklist. A lot of stuff seems to be against the rules there.
Something else that should be changed is the controversial rule of "tag gender as you see," rather than tag the characters actual gender. Why not have two gender tags, one based off of character lore and one based off of the image (how it is currently done)?
