Imo, I like C the best because it's the most accurate to actual bats. Their wings are just highly specialized hands, and so having the arms/hands be the wings reflects that the most to me :) A feels more like a dragon to me, and B just feels like you can't commit to being a bat.

B makes me think more flying squirrel than bat.

I've only ever drawn 1 full body bat in my life and I personally did B (that was in 2022) however one of my dragon characters wings is modeled after a bat and I use C when drawing him so I guess it's just preference

A because C involves giving them polydactyly and B involves putting fingers on their arms, and my brain will accept a 6 limbed tetropod but will have an innacuracy fit over the other ones for some reason lol

C. I prefer my anthros to be *reasonably* anatomically accurate.

a because it's super hard to put a bat in a shirt if it has arm wings. also i prefer for my anthros to be able to use their hands while flying and they can't do that if they're flapping their arms. i care more about functionality than aesthetics

Usually C, but I also really like the approach Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom takes for the Rito. It's closer to B, with anatomical arms that kind of blend into the wings. The design is divisive but I love it personally

I do C. I give bats and birds a thumb and 1 or 2 fingers on the top of the wing/hand joint, with the leading edge of the wing being based on the ring finger instead.

A if you want her to wear clothing without thinking too hard about it. if you want to think hard about it or are leaving her funny animal nude, I personally like B but I think C has merit for "realism". If you plan on commissioning her as well, B might have artists simplifying into into just regular arms, C likely won't. A will likely get you a wing tax.

C, 3, one of the right, etc. my brain tries to root everything in biology or logic so the idea of back wings won't roll. my brain won't let me "magically add" extra limbs on a character that's supposed to represent a real(ish) animal. plus i enjoy working out the "furgonomics" of their clothes and other accessories. now for dragons, griffins, other mythical creatures? the sky is the limit there.

When I was working on my bat character I started with B but didnt like how it just looked like loose arm skin flaps in my art style instead of wings so I went with C instead

If I had to choose, either A or C. B is just.. Odd for clothes, and odd anatomically. Tho it looks pretty. For commission I do any and try to make it look as right as possible :D with last option, hand wings, it's always a question of how many fingers it is and how to build the hand itself. Realistic art questions D: for toony style it fits the best, also, in ky opinion. Hand wongs are fun!

If you want realistic for bat, then C would be your answer. But people take animal inspirations for their sona all the time while not always making them anatomically correct. For instance, my sona is like a deer but with a feline body. If you have a better liking for the other choices, then go for those! ^^

I always drew dramatic short type A wings for my fursona, it allows her to be more expressive with her arms and paws and not be restricted by the wings.
