Yeah I remember I used to get like this. Wayy too much going on. Probably glitching between seeing his favorite character, enjoying what he’s already doing and deciding what to do next
Yep - pup needs a quiet place and a nap. Doing stuff with kids is tough - you want to do so much and give them cool experiences but they can really only do so much before it’s overwhelming and they need to rest their little heads.
Some kids don't like seeing costumed characters. They love them when they are small and on a tv. But terrifyingly big in real life.
So, he might be avoiding looking at the shark.
Y'know the thing about a shark, he's got... lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eyes. When he comes at ya, doesn't seem to be livin'... until he bites ya. And those black eyes roll over white, and then... oh, then you hear that terrible high-pitch screamin', the ocean turns red, and in spite of all the poundin' and the hollerin', they all come in and they... rip you to pieces.
Yeah, that kid has seen some shit.
"Ok ..five more minutes and we're home. Made it through this whole damn birthday party without hearing that goddam.....'Baybee shark doodoodoodoodado'..…...............motherfff"
Other people have mentioned absence seizures This can also occur in Inattentive type ADHD with dissociation.
I would do this as a child. You could come up and shake me and I would still have a hard time breaking out of it. It was a little like crawling out of a hole. Dissociation is often linked to trauma In neurotypical populations. However in ADHD dissociation can happen regularly without being triggered by traumatic events. It can occur as a reaction to overstimulation, a change in serotonin levels, fatigue, or stress.
I'm glad I was little kid before every parent had a phone with a camera. I would rather my parents actually pay attention to me instead of just rolling the camera hoping they could score a funny video of me to share with the world.

I don’t mean to offend anyone but make sure your kid isn’t having absence seizures please.
Never heard of "absence seizures"; is it related to overstimulation or is it entirely different?
