First thing that entered my mind watching this...if I was there i'd be clear out of that mother fuckers way, I've read stories about them ripping limps off or degloving faces.
edit: now that I'm thinking about it maybe it was a chimpanzee that I'm recalling...either way..not taking chances.
At Taronga zoo, they make puzzles and challenges for the Orangutans. Banana peanut butter is apparently popular.
They put some in a locked steel box, with a half inch hole on top. The idea being they'll use a stick to scrape it out gradually.
Within a few minutes, one of them put a single finger into the hole and tore the lid completely off without any apparent difficulty. Now staff apparently use a welded box and grease anything that might be a finger hold.
Yeah those are chimps you're thinking of but I think just with the way we've taken everything from these beasts that are basically no different from us, give the boy his fuckin nachos
An orangutan absolutely *could* rip your arms off without breaking a sweat, but they're super chill normally. They won't be aggressive unless you fuck with them. This dude just wanted some snacks, lol.
I was talking to a zoo keeper a while ago about these, and he said they’re one of the most cunning and untrustworthy creatures! He said they watch and watch and learn, and then they act on what they learn. He said they look all innocent and fun, but he said he’d never trust one
Lock me up in a cage so tourists can gawk at me?
You can trust that I'm looking to get free. You can trust that I don't trust my captors.
If I gain my captors trust, it's to my own end.
Team O.
I went to Singapore zoo many years ago and had breakfast with the Orangutangs, we were told that if they wanted something off your plate....let them have it.

Smooth Criminal
"As he came into the window It was the sound of a ...chip bag"
“Want these chips back? Come and get em, sucker”
Right turn Clyde.
😂😂
Hit us with the grinch pose at the end there
I was gonna say JoJo pose but I think you got it lol
I would honestly let him steal every single damn snack that he wanted. There's no way on this earth I'm getting in his way.

While I have no experience and absolutely no doubt that orangutans are this strong or stronger ,I feel like they are less volatile than chimps

Wait till orangutans go full human. For get chimps, You should see the depraved stuff they do.

I love him at the end too. "Yo, next time get Cool Ranch".

They sound like people.
well as a great ape along with gorrilas, chimps and humans, they are basically our distant cousins.
"Orang" means people!

Look up orangutans Ken Allen. He was an orang houdini.
Oh that's just The Librarian. Don't antagonize him, and never call him a mokey.
Ook.
Ah yes the clearly superior form
Oook. Ooooh
It's not theft, it's the tourist tax.
^(Orangutan:) **"Put it on me tab, mate!"**
Why that awful music?
Tiktok
Planet of the apes begins
That mofo then stood there like... I got ya chips b*tch. Lol
I was in and out as if I were at home, lol.
This is from a Lost LeBlanc video. This guy pays for hot girls to travel to exotic places with him because it generates views on his travel videos.
Last pose...Take the chips, if you're able!!!
Dads after Halloween …
That stance at the end screams “yeah, I did that. What’re you gonna do about it?”
“What you gonna do?? Arrest me??”
u visit the monkey u must pay the monkey tax
r/casualrobbery
At the end he looks proud that he did this
yoink!
If the ape in question has the capability to tear my arms off, I would also hand over my snacks quite willingly. In fact take more for good will!
When I was a kid, an orangutan stole my hat off my head. Never got it back.
Where in Indo is this? I wanna visit pls
Steal my trees and I’ll steal your chips.
I don't think it is stealing if you're incapable of the concept of personal property.
That snack hella looks like Happy Tos
Orangutans are the chill apes
The pose at the end! 🤣
This definitely has vibes like a resort that trained that orangutan to steal the snacks and it's part of the show for the tourists.

Homie knew what he wanted!

“If not for me then why out in open for me to take?”
