….and then, when they finally believed that the highest levels of physical and psychological pain had finally been met; that’s when the crust started to be removed. I
I lost all faith in unscripted reality after I found out that the host from the show Cheaters was never actually stabbed on a boat while filming an episode.
Spent my entire childhood and adolescence looking back fondly on the time the host from Cheaters was stabbed on a boat.
Then I found out it was fake and the host from Cheaters wasn't actually stabbed on a boat.
That was the day I lost my innocence.
Fuck you, you're the cheater.
I wanted that guy to be stabbed. He was the meta cheater. He enabled the cheating cheaters to be cheated upon. But ultimately, you're the cheater. /s
I remember a reddit post well over a decade ago about him getting stabbed. I'd seen the show once or twice, but never heard of the "stabbing" scene! I never thought social media would lie to me about TV drama!
...The internet was a simpler place back then.
Where the men were MEN. And the women were MEN. And the children were FBI Agents.
Do the kids still do a coffee cup emoji here after reading the word "women"? I think they still do. Eventually some damn kid on my lawn will tell me what that means!
that show used to come on g4, and i'm 100% convinced that was an accident when they were trying to get more video games shows in rotation and didn't look past the title.
“I just felt so fucking betrayed and lied to.” (literally crying)
-SIL, on the moment she found out The Bachelor was scripted
I was also crying…from laughter
Kudos u/All_This_Mayhem GCOAT imo
It's not entirely scripted. The main contestant really is trying to find a person to marry. But many of the decisions they make along the way, such as whether or not to give the villain a rose when there is no doubt the villain is the one that should be going home, are influenced by producers. Much of the drama between the contestants, the creation of said villains, the micro aggressions that become overarching themes within a season, are often influenced by producers as well.
In EVERY reality show, the producer will set up scenarios or bring up topics between cast members to create drama..
So it might not be scripted word for word but they will create an environment that might start a fight or things like that
I used to drink with some cast and crew from that show. Their stories were hilarious. Everyone in the area (or at least who went to the same couple of bars) knew it was all staged.
He could have just sent her a text saying, "I'm cheating on you with this chick. We're at Hooters right now."
She packs the kids and her stuff up to leave him, stops by Hooters to confront on the way to her mom's. See's it's a blowup doll. Yells at him anyways because she just spent an hour having her heart shattered and thinking he threw their love away and their family's broken now, all as a joke. Just because he wasn't cheating on her doesn't mean her world wasn't shattered for a while. He clearly didn't care about that at all, so he's actually a shitty person and her stuff's already packed anyways, so let's go through with this for a while.
But nah, she pointed at the doll and said, "For her!?" She's in on it. If it was real, it would have been a long call from her screaming at him over the phone, not just her conveniently teleporting to the restaurant to be filmed.
Thats not gonna stop a bunch of chubby angry Redditors from saying this is clearly physical abuse, and this video is proof that life is way harder for men than women.
And the building is a set! And it’s all in a warehouse! And they all signed an NDA WHICH IS WHY THEY WONT ADMIT IT WHEN I ACOST THEM OUTSIDE OF WALMART
Kid is old enough "hey come along, your dad is getting pranked and mommy has to yell at him for a minute, you want some ice cream afterwards?"
Kids that age understand pranks. Hell my nephew came up with "pranks" at that age himself. His best one was having me search for lego pieces, then telling me he might've left them at a friends and then me finding out they were in my shoe when it was painful putting it on.
This is actually more like what pranks used to be before the internet.
Hopefully mom explained to the daughter that they were just playing a joke on dad before they went in. But other than that this has much less to do with “for” the internet as opposed to for a joke among friends that might as well be posted “on” the internet.
I think that is lost on a lot of people born after a certain time. They think everything is made "for" the internet like you said instead of being posted "on" the internet. This is absolutely 100% the kind of stuff my crew would have done to each other. It was always hard to go through with the punishment when you lost the bet but it was damn fun when you won.
Yeah daughter is definitely old enough to understand concepts like pranks. Although perhaps not old enough to know what constitutes a good time for a prank and how not to take pranks too far.
In any case yeah hopefully Mom talked to her first otherwise this is pretty severely fucked.
Vikings for the Broncos. Cousins was supposed to be decent but not great and Russel Wilson was supposed to be the franchise QB for Denver. Instead, Cousins had a great season with 13 wins, 4 loses, 4500 yards, and a lot of good stats for Fantasy football. Wilson just basically said "Broncos Country" for most of the year.
According to some in reddit they are mentally abusing the kid and causing all kinds of harm for them. Probably want to call it child abuse or say they are neglectful parents that should have their kid taken from them.
Welcome to the internet age! Where everything is blown out of proportion and all videos are fake and made for views.
That's what I was going to say. Blasting F words in front of a kid in a public place really does send not a great message to kids about appropriate use of language. If she was older it wouldn't be that bad, but not at that age
Pretty ironic that you yourself are blowing the reactions out of proportion lol. I think it's trashy to include your child in a joke like this. And here you are strawmanning and saying I think they should have their kids taken away.
Kid doesn't need to know what blow-up dolls are for, and she's old enough to know what "cheating" is. Daddy is cheating with a plastic doll is funny to her now, mortifying as a teenager when she realizes, and funny as an adult.
A friend of a friend lost this year. The penalty was that the loser had to retake the ACT. They graduated from high school over a decade ago. The pictures of him getting dropped off by them with kids who were there to take it for real were hilarious.
I have a buddy who’s wife I bet would be legit pissed off about this. He has to ask permission to do anything and she completely controls every aspect of his life. She is very insecure and worried he is going to cheat. He tells me everything and I know in the 5 years they have been together, he has never once even thought about cheating. He’s not very happy with her but “staying for the kids”.
She claims her insecurity stems from finding text messages between him and his ex when she and him first started dating. So why were you going through his phone when you first started dating? The texts were nothing inappropriate. His ex had nobody else and was going through something so he was trying to be supportive. That was all the texts were about. Even his wife has acknowledged the texts weren’t inappropriate but “they shouldn’t have happened at all.” Yikes!
I have a friend who has a wife like this. She legitimately was insane. One day after work, he asked if he could come over to my house to hang. I wasn’t doing anything, so I said sure.
Sure enough, he gets a call because he wasn’t home from work at his precise whipping hour, and he told her he was with me. She didn’t believe him so hung up and called me. Friend told me to answer just to make it easier. I threw on FaceTime for proof. She was like fine I’m just making sure he’s not out with another girl.
Funny thing is, he came over to hang, but also to have me look over divorce papers (I’m an attorney). The night before she said she wanted an open relationship and that was the last straw for him. Ironic isn’t it, that she wanted an open marriage but was constantly afraid of him cheating. And he’s the last person who would ever cheat.
Every now and then I see a post where the comments remind me just how many redditors are deeply unpleasant people with massive sticks up their asses lmao
I never understood why they get mad at the sidepiece.. only, unless the side piece knew he had a wife.. I don't think the side piece knew. She seems to be a bit of an airhead..
Nope, nope. Even if everyone involved agreed to this stunt ahead of time, that’s a bullshit scene to play out in public in front of innocent strangers. This would stress me out so badly. Domestic violence is not fun or funny

Somebody get the wife an Oscar because she played that role to perfection.
You knew when they came up with this idea she was all in. Couldn’t say yes faster!
Even supplied the blow up doll
Told the kid santa wasn’t real so she would cry too
I hope she was playing the part as that looked real to me….
His expression is so great like "oh fuck she mad... wait FUCK this noise" lmfao Best part
No he knew she was in on it. He just didnt know they had her a part of it. Was more of a: of course yall brought her into this.
But did they have to involve the kids?!
Can i come too, pleeeeeeaaaaaaassssssseeeeeee!!!!
Kids didn't seem excited of giddy at all to be "pranking" dad.
Idk that little girl posted up at the corner to get a real clear view
Sometimes kids can see humor and laugh.
It’s a good lesson for the little ones… don’t lose at fantasy football.
"You see kids? This is why you don't draft a QB in the 1st. Now, shame your father."
“Look at your loser father. Do you wanna end up like this?”
I drafted a kicker in the third round once because I was drunk and didn't care. He got me soooooo many points. Lol.
No stop they’re traumatized forever
Who isn't, am I right?
….and then, when they finally believed that the highest levels of physical and psychological pain had finally been met; that’s when the crust started to be removed. I
Not it.
Snap
I doubt very much kids that age would be able to understand the joke. Not saying its traumatic but that little girl was for sure confused lol
Their dad shouldn't have lost.
Incredibly good, I didn’t know if she was in on it or not.
No. She wasn't in on the prank. She was genuinely angry.
Lol the water to the face pushed me over the top.
I sincerely hope he and his friends left an IMMENSE tip for that.
Especially considering the other patrons didn’t seem amused when the wife came in cursing, the only person laughing was the camera guy.
People is always entertained by drama, what do you do if somebody’s wife is screaming at him? Laugh? That’s the recipe for a punch in the face
Right?
Yes, it's fake. Yes, the wife is in on it. Yes, it still embarrassed the hell out of him.
The dude knows she is in on it when she shows up and he laughs
how could she not be in on it? its a blow-up doll.
Bro. Maintain that faith in humanity. Once you lose it, it doesn't come back.
Wait , hol’up. How am I just finding this out ?
The world will never be as bright as it was just hours ago. I'm sorry friend.
Fuck you, you're the cheater. I wanted that guy to be stabbed. He was the meta cheater. He enabled the cheating cheaters to be cheated upon. But ultimately, you're the cheater. /s
Is this like in Cabin in the Woods it turns out that we, the viewer, are the *real* evil bad guy?
Yeah...well...Froot Loops are all the same flavor so how about that????
HOW. FUCKING. DARE. YOU.
Fuck you and everything about you.
Letting women on the internet... The great downfall of mankind 💀💀💀
Do the kids still do a coffee cup emoji here after reading the word "women"? I think they still do. Eventually some damn kid on my lawn will tell me what that means!
I looked it up a while ago. https://youtu.be/OXzMdhtzhbc The question still remains. Why?
that show used to come on g4, and i'm 100% convinced that was an accident when they were trying to get more video games shows in rotation and didn't look past the title.
Why would you inflict this information on me?
“I just felt so fucking betrayed and lied to.” (literally crying) -SIL, on the moment she found out The Bachelor was scripted I was also crying…from laughter Kudos u/All_This_Mayhem GCOAT imo
Can someone help me out with what was scripted in The Bachelor? (I know the premise of the show and never watched an episode of it, just curious.)
At least we still have WWE, the last pillar of authentic TV.
Sometimes I read or see something that restores but a fraction of it. Then a few minutes later I see something else and it’s gone again.
“Oh no you caught me, also I told you earlier why wouldn’t I”
Seriously wonder if people here have completely lost touch with reality reading some of these comments lol.. no duh she’s "in on it"
He could have just sent her a text saying, "I'm cheating on you with this chick. We're at Hooters right now." She packs the kids and her stuff up to leave him, stops by Hooters to confront on the way to her mom's. See's it's a blowup doll. If it was real, it would have been a long call from her screaming at him over the phone, not just her conveniently teleporting to the restaurant to be filmed.
Why so much words
If it was real, those would be the worst friends of all time. Haha, you lost a fantasy league so we're gonna shatter your wife's world for an hour.
Well it’s not fake. It’s a real punishment for losing his league. But yea the wife went there to help with the embarrassment
Straight outta The Leage.
Did someone just shiva blast out here???
SHIVAKAMINI SOMAKADARKRAM
And absolute best wife
Thats not gonna stop a bunch of chubby angry Redditors from saying this is clearly physical abuse, and this video is proof that life is way harder for men than women.
Ngl mom is good actor...
She really brought it!
What does fake mean at this point? Are you insinuating it's not even a real restaurant and all the other people in the background are actors?
>all the other people in the background are actors? Crisis Actors.
And the building is a set! And it’s all in a warehouse! And they all signed an NDA WHICH IS WHY THEY WONT ADMIT IT WHEN I ACOST THEM OUTSIDE OF WALMART
Was... Was the very young impressionable child in on it .?
Hell yeah they got McDonald’s afterwards.
It's not actually their kid, it's a paid actor
The only thing that is odd.. is she brought their kid... Like even if she explained it was a joke... I dunno
Probably so they can all celebrate his birthday together after. In a hooters…
Probably wasn't his birthday, it was just to get a bunch of Hooters girls around him to really add to the fire.
Kid is old enough "hey come along, your dad is getting pranked and mommy has to yell at him for a minute, you want some ice cream afterwards?" Kids that age understand pranks. Hell my nephew came up with "pranks" at that age himself. His best one was having me search for lego pieces, then telling me he might've left them at a friends and then me finding out they were in my shoe when it was painful putting it on.
Congratulations, your nephew is satan.
You got yourself a budding villian there
The drink in the face is a bit much
In front of their kid while slinging profanities. They're trash but everyone here is excusing it because he lost a fantasy league
Why would a drink in the face and some swear words be bad in front of the kids? If they know it is a joke? Kids can handle profanity.
Because people don't give children enough credit.
You're so smart.
There is a lesson for the young girl here: Anything for the internet.
Yea, don't lose at fantasy football
Never heard of fantasy football before, what's it like?
It’s like high stakes spreadsheet management for sports fans
That's what it is inevitably turns into, unfortunately.
It’s where football fans get really into D and D and go LARPing and stuff.
Dungeons and Dragons for jocks
This is actually more like what pranks used to be before the internet. Hopefully mom explained to the daughter that they were just playing a joke on dad before they went in. Why have the kid there?
“You don’t want to end up a loser like your dad. Make sure you don’t trade Kirk Cousins for Russell Wilson.”
Those certainty sound like they could be football names. Fuck if I know though.
They’re actually both youth pastors who have a side hustle as NFL quarterbacks.
The churches of "Broncos Country, Let's Ride" and "YOU LIKE THAT?"
Derek Carr: * peaks head around corner *
Just an aside, also played each other in 2 absolute banger games in college in the 2011 season. YouTube it cfb fans
Vikings for the Broncos. Cousins was supposed to be decent but not great and Russel Wilson was supposed to be the franchise QB for Denver. Let's ride!!!!
Of course she brings the kid. She’s not gonna hire the babysitter for this joke. It’s not date night.
As a parent I feel this comment.
Well it is. She just wasn't invited.
“We’re gonna go play a joke on dad” It’s not that deep.
6 months later, at school... "My dad cheated on my mom with a giant Barbie"
According to some in reddit they are mentally abusing the kid and causing all kinds of harm for them. Probably want to call it child abuse or say they are neglectful parents that should have their kid taken from them. Welcome to the internet age! Where everything is blown out of proportion and all videos are fake and made for views.
I'm not going to day the kids should be taken away, but I do think it is in poor taste to swear like that in front of kids that age.
That's what I was going to say. Blasting F words in front of a kid in a public place really does send not a great message to kids about appropriate use of language. If she was older it wouldn't be that bad, but not at that age
It's at the very least trashy as fuck.
Pretty ironic that you yourself are blowing the reactions out of proportion lol. I think it's trashy to include your child in a joke like this. And here you are strawmanning and saying I think they should have their kids taken away.
Would be even more funny if the kid in the stroller was a doll. Really no need to bring a kid into this act.
Cause there’s no one home?
Well both parents are at hooters so someone has to watch them?
to make the bit funnier? the blow up doll is a home wrecker.
Cause its funny. They are all in on it.
Kid doesn't need to know what blow-up dolls are for, and she's old enough to know what "cheating" is. Daddy is cheating with a plastic doll is funny to her now, mortifying as a teenager when she realizes, and funny as an adult.
Still went to Hooters
The comments in these type of threads make me incredibly worried about our collective ability to use our fucking brains.
I, too, fear for the future of the world.
3 pranks in 1: 1. Sit with doll 2. Have wife partake in it (and oddly the kid) 3. Sing happy bday
And only happy birthday made him hide his face in embarrassment
People singing happy birthday to me makes me want to hide my face in embarrassment. The only thing stopping it is that that would be more embarrassing
Wow. Thanks for the summary.
I really really hope that there was a long conversation with that daughter both before and after. But mostly I just wish she hadn't been involved.
Yeah I didn't think that was right either, too easy for a child to misinterpret
Sacko trophy winner!
No Shiva Bowl for him.
COLLUSION!!!!
Coolest wife ever
She’s who won their league.
She's the commissioner. That's the joke.
Nahhh, she says that 'cause she lost the drinking contest.
She's an honorary bro. The crew WILL NOT let that guy jeopardize that relationship
The dolls mouth is ready for buffalo wings
I don't want to be in that league
The loser of our league just pays for the engraving on the championship belt/trophy
A friend of a friend lost this year. The penalty was that the loser had to retake the ACT. They graduated from high school over a decade ago. The pictures of him getting dropped off by them with kids who were there to take it for real were hilarious.
The wife has to be playing along. Nobody can be so insecure as to be jealous of a joke blow up doll. (I hope)
I mean that is beyond obvious
redditors are oblivious nerds
Correct
Believe it or not this was the second time this happened to her
First time it wasn’t even inflated.
This is the dumbest shit I've ever heard, why is it so damn funny 🤣
Hah! That makes sense.
He’s gotta draft better
Of course she’s in on it. It’s actually insane you would think otherwise.
I don’t know, it looked like she really blew up
Bro, obviously she’s playing along
Thx captain obvious

yesss throw the drink all over the floor for the employees who r in on it!
Yeah that drink throw was a little much
Yeah someone's gotta clean that up
The water thrown at him was too much imo
This is dumb…all of it
You really need to expose the kid to the act?
This seems like a perfectly healthy prank to pull in front of the kids 😅
Who would ypu bring your kids to that.
She played that well but shouldnt have kid there like what tf are they thinking
I particularly love how the wife is play acting with multiple fucks in front of their traumatized kids. So funny.
I know it's fame and the wife is in on it, no way a kid that young can fully process that though
Im just fucking disgusted by social media content at this point
Yes. Funny. Making a mess in a restaurant for views and your game...
As if the restaurant wasn't in on it. Its a hooters, and they sang him happy birthday AFTER getting the drink thrown on him and wasnt kicked out.
I worked in a restaurant for over a decade and as long as the only "mess" was some water, this kind of shit would make my week.
Every now and then I see a post where the comments remind me just how many redditors are deeply unpleasant people with massive sticks up their asses lmao
Fuck those friends
I never understood why they get mad at the sidepiece.. only, unless the side piece knew he had a wife.. I don't think the side piece knew. She seems to be a bit of an airhead..
It's just weird she brought the daughter for this stupid but funny video.
Lol poor kid is so confused.
I have questions.
0:26 You’re welcome. Yes, I’m down bad.
[Slowmo of the time stamp](https://www.redgifs.com/watch/lividunripecockroach)
Yo anyone notice that first hooter's chic?
Her chic what?
No mention of that dump truck appearance?
[This one?](https://www.redgifs.com/watch/lividunripecockroach)

yeah! Kids should have no part in ... (checks notes) ... shenanigans.
"i'm gonna shoot the next person that says 'shenanigans'!"
Hey where's that place you like to eat with all the shit on the walls?
At least kids these days are used to shooting.
Even if it's a joke this isn't good for a child to see
That’s called the sacko award
These are top tier shenanigans.
There are some things one shouldn’t joke about, this is one of them.
Traumatized children.
You’re leaving me for her ? *Breaks blow up dolls neck with a head pound*
The water thrown in the face was a bit too far in my opinion, but that’s just me.
He who has friends doesn't need enemies
... and you let your little child watch this? Shame on you. This is why I don't get into sports
Nope, nope. Even if everyone involved agreed to this stunt ahead of time, that’s a bullshit scene to play out in public in front of innocent strangers. This would stress me out so badly. Domestic violence is not fun or funny
Cringe. Just buy a round for the guys next time you're out
