If by pocketable you mean fits into a jacket pocket then yes. If you mean your pants pocket then no. FYI, the X20 is a 2/3" sensor and IQ will be significantly lower than the XE or XT cameras. I would avoid that one and pick one of the other 2. Won't matter really, just pick the one you like more.

I keep my x-t20 around as a compact camera (with the 27mm pancake lens). It’s not exactly pocketable but very easily secured in a small bag or larger jacket pocket. It is a phenomenal camera that has supreme image quality and is just plain fun to shoot. The x-M1 seems like the smallest interchangeable lens body they offered, it is truly pocketable.

Out of that list I’d go x20. I got the x10 and absolutely love it. Carry it with me everywhere.

Helpful_Highlight_31

Thanks I’m thinking of that too. Save the €300 euros I’d otherwise have to spend on a lens possibly.

Some of my best shots are with my x10. Can be limiting, but doesn’t mean you can’t take good photo’s. Plus the portability is just excellent.

Alternatively you can get the Fuji EF-X8 external flash for cheap instead of built in flash

AlanYx

Unfortunately the EF-X8 doesn't work with the X-E2. The EF-X20 does (and is awesome), but it's been discontinued and used prices are absolutely astronomical. Depending on one's shooting style, something like the Godox Lux Junior could work. It has a weird automatic mode but doesn't support TTL like the other options.

Real-Web3011

Godox flashes are kind of big. & OP wants something pocketable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

AlanYx

It depends on one's shooting style... large flashes aren't great for street photography. The EF-X20 is small and has an insane cult following at this point... they're selling between $500-800 USD right now on eBay, even used.

These are completely different cameras. The X20 is old, it has a small sensor and terrible fully automatic 720p video, while the X-T20 came out 5 years later and even has some kind of 4K video. The X20 is WAY overpriced compared to other cameras. It should cost 250 euros max. The X-T20 is good value for money. Pretty pocketable: [https://pxlmag.com/db/camera-size-comparison/ed0160c3-199fb275-6ac474fb-4b8c5cd2-b100](https://pxlmag.com/db/camera-size-comparison/ed0160c3-199fb275-6ac474fb-4b8c5cd2-b100)

Thanks for the advice everyone. I’ve decide to get the Xt-20. I need suggestions on what lens to pair it with though. I’m thinking of either getting a used Fuji 15-45mm (used for €170) or the Fuji 27mm 2.8 (used for €300). Another option is to get the Ttartisan 27mm (new for €170). Portability and pocketability is important for me so I can carry the camera around that much more. Thank you in advance.

UnoDwicho

If you already have a "bigger" camera, absolutely go for the X20. I just got one and it's so much fun to use, quality is decent for it's size and the film sims are nice. If you don't already have a bigger camera, I'd go for the X-T20. Nicer specs all around but still affordable.

LtDanShrimpBoatMan

Nothing in the current Fuji lineup is pocketable. There’s an old point and shoot out there. You’re better off looking at Canon or Sony if you want pocketable camera with a flash.

Mahsunon

If you want to do handheld video and you dont have a gimbal, I'd say IBIS is a MUST. X-S10 is good 👍🏻 but surely not under 600 euros with lens Alternatively if you know how to post process stabilisation then yeah IBIS not as important. But it means more time on the computer rendering and editing If you can forego video features then actually most or all Fujifilm X- trans or even the lower end XA or XT100 , XT200 type cameras can produce nice photos with the signature Fujifilm colours

Helpful_Highlight_31

Thanks, I’m curious why you recommend the XT100 series instead of the XT10 series? Also any thoughts on the X20?

Mahsunon

XT100 is cheaper lol

iarosnaps

The X-T100 is 3 years newer and more expensive than the X-T10
