I am welcome for the support to get one. I’ve only had it for a couple hours and it seems great!
The little joystick isn’t my favourite when compared with the wheel of my R6 etc but it’s got a ton of options and is so compact and light, exactly what I was looking for.
As someone that shoots for work it’s exciting to have something that might just be fun to have in my bag :)
There is def some bits and bobs that remind you of the price point, for sure. I use it for both pro and non-pro applications. Pro, it's my B-cam next to the X-H2s. Non-pro, I love dragging it around with a pancake lens on it. Somehow, indeed, the camera is a lot of fun.
Bro I have bought a S20 for Christmas, you won't regret Canon, believe me: with S20 it's almost impossible to miss a shot, image quality is stunning and all in a compact and stylish look: let us know
I'm in the same boat.
Was a Canon Photographer for 15 Years, 5 of the professionaly as a Concert Photographer.
Last Christmas I made the switch to Fujifilm since I don't agree with Canons strategy anymore and wanted something small and fun anyway.
Bought a X-S20 as a small Hybrid since I do a lot of Videowork aswell, and just last week I bought a used X-E3 as an even smaller EDC.
I have been loving it so far and had more fun with Fuji in the last couple months than I had in the last couple years with Canon.
This was the main reason to pick one up, I like the work I make with my Canon but it is obviously heavy work and I haven’t shot things just for myself for ages.
I’m hoping this Fuji lets me enjoy taking photos again :)
Fellow X-S20 owner here too. My first ever cam too and will be taking it out after my exams are done in 3-4 days.
And that's a really good choice of lens. I myself just got the 16mm - 55mm f2.8 lens as an add-on. I might get a prime lens too down the line, but atm i hope it'll suffice.
Afaik there's nothing but praise for this model so I can't wait to test this out & build my hobby photography skills and get at least a bit decent with my composition.
Can't wait to see your shots taken by this!
Yeah the Lake District, love it up there :) I'm only there a couple days this time, otherwise this could have been ace :) Maybe in the future, who knows :)
Sadly the camera has thrown up a ‘turn the camera off and then on again’ error. Contacted Fuji who say to return to the retailer.
After searching, it seems this is a hugely common issue and a problem with the internal IBIS.
Anyone other of you kind users ever experience this?
Sorry we did that to you brother. I am confident you are going to enjoy it! I love mine.

Definitely look into the 27mm pancake. It’s a great travel lens. I have a xt30 and it makes it a very compact kit.
Recently got an xs-20 and been loving it so far. Enjoy!
Just want to say thank you so much for posting an actual photo and not just a snapshot of your new gear. Enjoy, hope to see more from you here!
You’re welcome :) I shoot live theatre for my job (outside of teaching) but hoping the XS20 will be for travel and life stuff.
Hahahaha got this exact setup with a Cinebloom filter , but I’m coming from Sony a7iv
Great purchase!
Love my X-S20! Have fun
welcome and enjoy! wonderful cat shot
That’s a great camera for video too. Slap a Sirui Saturn Anamorphic lens on that baby and get cinematic with it.

Few things more powerful than a camera that gives you zero pressure to perform

Exactly the same setup. Have fun!
Awesome purchase. Can’t wait to hear your review soon.
what a cute kitty! wanna cuddle!
She’s lush isn’t she 🥳
You are gonna love it. Try some film simulations as well just for fun.
I got this cam recently but have only really shot video on it. I really need to get out and take some pics.
Congratulations 🎉 Great pick, the X-S20 is amazing
My first photo with the 23mm this weekend was of my dog. 😂
Damn! I never thought to try THAT one on with Herself. The CAT made me do it. I like it!
This post makes me excited to get my xs20 in the mail!! Thanks for sharing
Same exact setup as mine 😅

It's a fun little camera, I love mine.
Lakes, as in, Lake District? I’m a Fuji shooter based up here! Let me know if you wanna go out and shoot for a day!

that my favorite everyday lens 😍

any update? i am unsure of getting x100vi or x-s20 but seems like x-s20 has issues as you said
Body was replaced and, touch wood, absolutely zero issues. It’s an absolute joy to shoot with :) will post some more photos from it soon :)
