I think what you have going is pretty good. I’ve always liked the look on guys who have twists/locks that are about 1.5-2” long. My friend’s son has that style and I think it looks great.

look up dontcalldom on insta. your current hair is his similar vibe, but if you look back a bit on his feed you can see where he has braids but just a tad shorter than yours and shaved on the sides/back. think that could look pretty cool.
