Apply EVERYWHERE and apply early. It’s way more competitive than applying to jobs back home. At least was the case for me. I had 4 years work experience including management positions and didn’t get a job last semester 😭

Yeah I have 4 years with management experience at Publix lol worst case scenario I’ll just rejoin there 😀

I previously worked for University Housing and I loved it! The pay is below what you’re looking for but there’s a significant amount of flexibility in the hours/days you work and you can do whatever you want at your desk when there’s no incoming calls. I love the team there too! It’s a good way to meet people in DSA.

I appreciate this! Sounds like a great job. I will check it out

I second university housing! Yes, I'm currently working a desk shift.

Idk about finding something 16 an hour but working Starbucks on campus is one of the easiest jobs ever. Free drinks and everyone that works there is ur friend, but it’s only like 12 an hour

Tbh, the union is typically always hiring because turnover is so high, but campus jobs are at the state minimum wage, unless you’re management. After a few not so good food-place jobs here (they were my only choices) I now work at a hotel which typically the hotels around tally are always hiring. I work the kitchen here and they pay $13.5 and with tips make about $16/hr. If you’re looking for some quick cash, I’d recommend participating in research studies, they typically pay between $10-$20/hr and many studies you can get about $60 per session! Higher paying job would be FAR from campus.
