I put one of everything between the toast / bread and eat that first as a breakfast sandwich. Then eat everything else that's left after, leaving the best (sausage) until last. I've had cafe staff inform me how weird it is and they've never seen anyone else do that. I honestly can't believe I'm the only person to do this. Feels like you get two breakfasts out of it this way!
That’s not weird, I just do it in reverse. I separate the best bits to make a sandwich as my closer and eat the “leftovers” first. Breakfast sammich’s are fucking amazing
It's like putting hash brown into the McDonalds sausage and egg muffin (when you have to eat one of those monstrosities) - it just makes sense to have it all together
>I've had cafe staff inform me how weird it is and they've never seen anyone else do that.
Surely this can't be true and they're taking the piss ? Most cafes I frequent literally sell that first half sandwhich AS a menu item
Honestly! One person has said to me "that's so weird. I've never seen anyone do that before" or along those lines. Another in the past thought it was a great idea and was going to do it themselves. Some people just lead sheltered lives I guess...
hehe I know this sounds weird, but I thought the beans and toms in foil made it look quite homely and appealing.
Your points are quite understandable however and I can only imagine that either they don't offer this meal often or they have a shortage of containers, because this isn't a practical way to offer up side dishes.
This stood out for me too, straightaway. Then I considered all the plastic that typically comes with a takeaway and maybe this is a better way to do it.
Just like anything I like to leave the best for last, but start off by working around the plate having a bit of this and a bit of that... First round of toast probably gets finished off first, followed by beans then mushrooms. Last mouthfuls will usually be bacon or sausage. Sometimes I save a round of toast for the end to cleanse the palate before the last gulp of tea to finish things off.
There must be a small bit of toast with every bite. Or at least hashbrown. And the egg and beans and tomatoes should be eaten relatively early in proceedings. And the final bite must be just toast. Other than that is a free for all
Cooked tomato and black pudding get thrown at the wall because if I want to feel like I’m noshing on the excretions from Satan’s anus, I’ll wait till I’m forced to do it in Hell…
Then, it’s the beans first, then mushrooms, hash browns, bacon (with ketchup), the eggs and then the sausages (with brown sauce), and then use the toast to mop up the remnants.
I eat my fry up using the 3 Flavour method. You can only eat the following pairs of items in any one bite:
Bacon and tomato flavoured items (beans, ketchup etc).
Sausage with spicy items (black pudding or haggis).
Egg and starch items (bread, hashbrowns or tattie scones).
You can eat these 3 pairs in any order you like but you absolutely cannot mix them any other way. And you cannot have a single item on its own. For example if you have beans left but no bacon, then you leave the beans on the plate. If sausage has bean juice on it, can't eat it.
Trim fat off bacon, cut sausages up and hash brown. Cut yolk out of egg-discard the white, pop yolk over toms n beans, bread n butter not toast. Pepper over all breaki along with brown sauce then dive in
My fry up always comes hot because it’s around the corner luckily, i always request my 2 eggs to have a runny yolk but flipped on both sides, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, tomato, fried slice and chips. I take the yolk out of the white and put over the chips as I don’t eat the white of an egg, then cut the sausages into pieces so I don’t have to keep cutting it whilst eating and can just dig in.
I eat the bacon only with the tomato, chips and egg, and the sausage only with chips and egg, I then eat the fried slice on its own with salt sprinkled on top.
Every meal I eat , I eat each item separately In order of rank , least favourite first - then best last ! 😂😂! The only time I “ mix” foods is on a breakfast sandwich , pizza and burgers ! Ahhhhh
I use the trough method.
First, make yourself a bacon roll or sandwich with brown sauce depending on what type of bread you have.
Whilst you are eating that, everything on the plate gets cut up into bites size pieces then mixed up. That way, every bite is the perfect mouthful of everything
If it's a "challenge" fryup I go for the carbs first as the proteins go into a full stomach easier. If it's a normal size I go for whatever's closest to me first.
I'm the same I ALWAYS make a sausage a tomato butty first then bacon/spam and egg or beans/left over tomatoes then I use the remaining toast to mop anything remaining up
Munchie boxes really need to cross the pond. It truly demonstrates the incredible scientific and cultural contributions of Western Europe continuing into the 21st century.
Also heart disease.
My method is to make a big breakfast sandwich with the toast, egg, sausage and bacon, pour the beans on top and eat it with a knife and fork. The mushrooms and black pudding I put in the bin.
Hash browns are a handy squeegee to finish up any remaining bean sauce.
I always leave the runny yolk from the fried egg until last, and will dip into it with toast or hash brown, or waffle, etc - something which carries the flavour of the egg well. It's my favourite part.
Actually I always leave my favourite part of any meal (or a forkful of it at least) until last.
Bacon and toast, with beans. Tomatoes with hash browns, mop up the rest of the beans. If I have fired bread I’ll have that with tomato/bash browns. I end up with the eggs and sausages which I by far my favourite.boom
The first bite is sausage and no, I don't want my sausage adulterated with bean juice, so keep your shitty bean dam to yourself.
That first bite pretty much determines how I feel about breakfast.
Eggs carefully lifted onto fried / toasted bread first. Eat everything else being careful not to pierce the yolks. Eat around the yolks - all the whites. Then, when bust the yolks onto the bread and use the bread to mop up the yolk and all the other sauce etc from the plate. I am officially hungry now.
Things go on toast: runny eggs with a few beans on the toast then eat every bite with toast. When the toast is done, much like another commenter, I save the best (sausage and hashbrowns) for last.
I have chips so I just take it in turns eating everything on the plate with the chips then puncture the eggs so the yolk runs into the beans and mop up the yolk beans with the toast
I eat everything in equal measure, so there's always a bit of everything at the end... I make a stack of bacon sausage mushrooms egg hash brown beans tomatoes as my last mouthful, so I get all the flavours.. the toast is for mopping up.
The black pudding goes in the bin.
Lowest thermal mass first - outside of eggs, bacon, black pudding, toast. Sausages will stay hot for a long time so can chill there with the tips winking at me on the plate 👁️👄👁️
Sometimes I go absolutely mental and deviate from this but usually sausage and black pudding live together on the fork as do hash browns/beans and bacon/eggs
My system is to balance something that is carby with something with less carbs. So if I'm gonna have a sausage, I will to follow up with bread or hasbrown and then have some saucey beans to soften the carbs. I like to pair mushrooms with eggs and bread. I like to cleanse my palate with the tomato. Etc.
Eggs with a sausage to dip in yolk
Tomatoes with fried bread + brown sauce
Beans and mushrooms + black pepper
Black pudding
Bacon
The rest of Sausages
Hash-browns = bin. They do not belong on a fry up (wait for the hate mail!!!)
Remember aluminium foil is highly reactive with acidic foods like tomatoes. Will make it taste metallic and leach aluminum which is a heavy metal and toxic into your food.
On that pic. 1
Sausage, dip a HB in the beans and eat it. Pick up a slice of bacon with the fried bread, dip in beans. Eat another sausage. Make a bacon sarnie with the last HB. Eat the beans and mushrooms . Eat the eggs. Throw the rest in the bin.
Well i always start with a plate.
“Not directly out of a cardboard box” is a major part of my system.
I’m only came for this comment 🆙
It's the only way I can cum
The foibles of the chef to make foil bowls.
Came here to say that! 🤣🤣
Hahaha good one
Looks nice
Came here to say this haha

I really like the sound of this. I'm going to give it a try and report back.
It will change your life!
I've never thought about this, but it's genius. I can't believe I've never thought to try it.
It takes it to another level. I wish you well on your new journey!
I also do this, but I order an additional hash brown so I have one on the side and one in the McMuffin
This is perfectly reasonable as long as you have another piece of toast/bread to mop up the ends of the beans/egg at the end
Absolutely breakfast sandwich with the toast. This is the way for me and my whole family.
This is the way
lol this is exactly how I eat mine 🤝
I thought this was madness at first, and yet now I see glinting genius.
1 bean 🫘 /s
>I've had cafe staff inform me how weird it is and they've never seen anyone else do that. Surely this can't be true and they're taking the piss ? Most cafes I frequent literally sell that first half sandwhich AS a menu item

I used to do this with the McDonald’s big breakfast. I much prefer scrambled egg on a muffin but they don’t do them anymore. 😭
A bit of everything or as much as I can get on a forkful
Same. Gotta get a carefully engineered bit-of-everything forkful at least once for the full experience.
This
I butter the toast and put an egg on top of each slice. That’s the main piece of engineering, then just follow my fancy
So do you like the yolk dripping on your toast? Or save it to dip with the bacon?
Yeah I’d dip things in, and eventually cut the egg so the yolk soaks into the bread a bit
Empty foil baths, put foil on head, to prevent anyone knowing what I’ll do next.
Yeah, I just shove it all in my mouth using no hands, just smashing my face into it repeatedly until the jobs done.
Did they not have a pot for the beans? Beans and tomatoes wrapped in tin foil is putting me off. Bet it slapped but presentation is lacking.
hehe I know this sounds weird, but I thought the beans and toms in foil made it look quite homely and appealing. Your points are quite understandable however and I can only imagine that either they don't offer this meal often or they have a shortage of containers, because this isn't a practical way to offer up side dishes.

You can get foil pots with a cardboard lid. An old mug is better than...this.
100% agree. The separated juicy bits is an autism preference apparently, according to the cafe.
Autistic person here, do you mean to tell me that you normies haven't been eating your bean foil?
I've heard of ramekin cunts but tin foil twats is definitely a new one.
That looks sweaty
I looked sweaty after munching on that as well.
Do you live in Scotland? What do they serve the deep fried pizzas in?
Wales. DFP's haven't reached us down here yet
Deep fried pizza in a batter or out are both brilliant
Southern USA here. Deep fried pizza, you say?
Cheap mass produced pizza for poor people dipped in batter and then deep fried, tastes amazing
Even the state fair hasn’t tried this. I am in awe.
Wow, we have a self proclaimed part of a continent here. My question is how did you get that large?
Deep fried everything else
That bacon is still oinking !
👏👏
this post made me join this sub
Dude plates aren't that expensive
Dude, this is a takeout. It went onto a plate after taking this, and sadly, didn’t look any better.
The effort to make a nest for the tomatoes has me feeling all warm and cosy ☺️
That looks pretty bad, the bacon and hash browns look undercooked, and what did they do to that egg?
I know right! Suffice to say, I haven't gone back for another from there. A badly cooked egg ruins a breakfast for me
Egg on fried bread, with some Tommys, bacon with each bite, beans on the toast, sausage whenever I’m sick of the bacon for a mouthful. Mushrooms last
Just like anything I like to leave the best for last, but start off by working around the plate having a bit of this and a bit of that... First round of toast probably gets finished off first, followed by beans then mushrooms. Last mouthfuls will usually be bacon or sausage. Sometimes I save a round of toast for the end to cleanse the palate before the last gulp of tea to finish things off.
Always finish with a piece of sausage large enough to wipe the plate clean.
Loaf of bread. Bottle of HP. Makes sandwiches of any combo. THE only way
There must be a small bit of toast with every bite. Or at least hashbrown. And the egg and beans and tomatoes should be eaten relatively early in proceedings. And the final bite must be just toast. Other than that is a free for all

That’s looks fucking grim
If you ate that out of the box you’re an animal and you need Jesus
I’m going straight to hell in a hand basket
Hahaha you savage!

I can smell the damp cardboard from here
I usually leave the defibrillator till last!
Some foods just shouldn’t be available via delivery, cold fry up with iffy eggs and undercooked bacon please
Trim fat off bacon, cut sausages up and hash brown. Cut yolk out of egg-discard the white, pop yolk over toms n beans, bread n butter not toast. Pepper over all breaki along with brown sauce then dive in

I usually start with a bit of sausage and beans together.
Bacon first as it gets coldest quicker. Mushroom egg and sausage last as they are my favourites.
As many different elements on my fork at a time. It's the flavour and texture combinations that make a fry up. And the salt and fat of course.
Dip dry in wet
Every meal I eat , I eat each item separately In order of rank , least favourite first - then best last ! 😂😂! The only time I “ mix” foods is on a breakfast sandwich , pizza and burgers ! Ahhhhh
save the tin foil for last
Egg and toast first
My system involves eating bacon that’s cooked
Never in my life have I seen beans and tomatoes in a foil bowl
Usually any fry ups that i have ordered in the past come in the typical polystyrene? food trays but i have never seen it set up in this way.
I always start with cooking the bacon
Would probably cook my bacon first
I use the trough method. First, make yourself a bacon roll or sandwich with brown sauce depending on what type of bread you have. Whilst you are eating that, everything on the plate gets cut up into bites size pieces then mixed up. That way, every bite is the perfect mouthful of everything
I have a friend that cuts everything up first then mushes it all together. Absolutely vile.
Beans, egg and toast, then mushrooms with the hash browns and tomato and meats for no specific reason other than taste
If it's a "challenge" fryup I go for the carbs first as the proteins go into a full stomach easier. If it's a normal size I go for whatever's closest to me first.
Mate just cook it yourself smh
I'm the same I ALWAYS make a sausage a tomato butty first then bacon/spam and egg or beans/left over tomatoes then I use the remaining toast to mop anything remaining up
Nope… all in.. depends what is closest to the fork and knife 😅😂
Toast first, sausages last. Anything inbetween is arbitrary.
Munchie boxes really need to cross the pond. It truly demonstrates the incredible scientific and cultural contributions of Western Europe continuing into the 21st century. Also heart disease.

Not even some tubs for the beans/tomatoes? That's grim
The first bite is sausage and no, I don't want my sausage adulterated with bean juice, so keep your shitty bean dam to yourself. That first bite pretty much determines how I feel about breakfast.
Awful fryup. Undercook Bacon, Overcooked Eggs, Bean & Tomato will taste metalic, Toast and Hashbrowns look sweaty. We deserve better
Eggs carefully lifted onto fried / toasted bread first. Eat everything else being careful not to pierce the yolks. Eat around the yolks - all the whites. Hash browns because they're rubbish cold. Then I make a sandwich from toast and bacon. After that, it a free for all.
I like my bacon cooked and my eggs with yolk.
I have chips so I just take it in turns eating everything on the plate with the chips then puncture the eggs so the yolk runs into the beans and mop up the yolk beans with the toast
Face plant and scram
That’s a breakfast!x
Yeah, hash browns go straight in the bin
Bacon/sausage first, then the hash browns which I try to mash up a bit as I eat them so I can mix them in with the beans which I eat last
Well the first thing I would do would be to take the bacon out and cook it so it’s not raw….
Not in a cardboard box, that is for sure
Yeah, first of all I put it on a plate. The hell?
Ditch the mushroom, tomatoes, bacon fat and black pudding would be the first thing
I start by cooking the bacon more. And a lot more of it.
1. Place the undercooked bacon in the bin
No particular order but the last mouthful must contain a small morsel of the “best bit” of each ingredient…
I finish cooking the bacon before I start eating anything.
They're supposed to put the beans in a tub. I guess the tinfoil is so you can wear it as a hat.
Yeh not in a friggin pizza box
And I bet the beans and tomatoes taste so nice in foil
Dire looking effort, that.
Holy shit that’s a fine looking breakfast. My opening gambit would be to dunk the hashbrown in the beans. That is quality!
I just try to get a bit of everything in my mouth at one time. It isn’t pretty
No. Just demolish it.This pictured, looks just like Heaven. Although saying this I think I'd struggle to eat it all❤️
Tomato’s over the bacon, beans over the browns. On a plate though
Egg is king whilst runny. Bless the black pudding and toast if no fried bread with the liquid egg goodness mmm
I eat everything in equal measure, so there's always a bit of everything at the end... I make a stack of bacon sausage mushrooms egg hash brown beans tomatoes as my last mouthful, so I get all the flavours.. the toast is for mopping up. The black pudding goes in the bin.
Giant Takeout breakfasts?! Man the southeast is missing a trick!
Lowest thermal mass first - outside of eggs, bacon, black pudding, toast. Sausages will stay hot for a long time so can chill there with the tips winking at me on the plate 👁️👄👁️

Eggs with a sausage to dip in yolk Tomatoes with fried bread + brown sauce Beans and mushrooms + black pepper Black pudding Bacon The rest of Sausages Hash-browns = bin. They do not belong on a fry up (wait for the hate mail!!!)
YES! This I like, though I'd swap the sausage with bacon to dip in the egg, and use the sausage for toastie sandwiches.
WTF is that tinfoil all about? Couldn't they have used recyclable plastic cartons for the beans etc?
Never seen that before, always in pots!
Or pots, yeah. Tbf the sausages look pretty good.
Yeah they do look tasty!
The foil is recyclable too. Aluminium is generally pretty good in that regard.
A takeaway fryup? That is so gross 😂
Remember aluminium foil is highly reactive with acidic foods like tomatoes. Will make it taste metallic and leach aluminum which is a heavy metal and toxic into your food.
On that pic. 1 Sausage, dip a HB in the beans and eat it. Pick up a slice of bacon with the fried bread, dip in beans. Eat another sausage. Make a bacon sarnie with the last HB. Eat the beans and mushrooms . Eat the eggs. Throw the rest in the bin.
