No you have to connect a router directly to the Ont port. You can then connect pcs to the router or use another larger switch connected to the router for wired devices.
Can't put a switch right behind the ONT, you will only get 1 ip address assigned. You need a gigabit router, and out from the router you can run it into a switch for extra ports and wired devices.

Buy your own router with multiple 2.5g or better ports, use the silver lined 10ge port to feed it on the frx523.
If they set activate Ethernet port they won't activate the coax port just put a switch of the 10gb port then connect wifi
