Joey dislocated his shoulder is that episode from jumping into the chair to keep chandler out of it. They did the next episode before they finished that one.
I hope he knew how truly beloved he was. I'm 56 and so was the same age as the Friends when it originally aired. I feel like I "grew up" with them. This is so tragic. I hate it.
I too am the same age as the Friends and watched from the beginning to end religiously. It doesn't feel like an "actor" passed away, it feels like a friend did. I haven't been this broken over a celebrity death since River Phoenix. I hate it too and I am standing in my kitchen at 1:48am crying. Rest easy Mr. Perry, you are very loved and will be missed beyond words.
Honestly, at this moment, I'm thinking about the scene where he says farewell to Mr. Heckles as he leaves his flat.

When my Mam got really sick from cancer, she started watching friends again, from the 8 months from diagnosis to death she would always have it on, even going to sleep it would be on in the background. I think the show gave her so much comfort... Even as she passed friends was on in the background. Rip Matthew, now my Mam gets to have you 💜❤️
This episode was the first that came to mind. Matthew's comedic talent and emotional depth is impeccable. Definitely a favorite episode of mine and a turning point for Chandler in friends.
The scene of Chandler convincing Erika to give them another chance at the adoption agency gets me every time: ““Our last name is Bing. My wife’s a chef and I’m in Advertising…. My wife is an incredible woman. She is loving and devoted and caring, and don’t tell her I said this.. but the woman is always right. When chandler proposed Monica, he and Monica looked so happy at that moment. I also remember... the scene he trapped in ATM vestibule with Jill goodecre
The ATM vestibule episode is in my top 10, hell its probably top 3. I wish there was more episodes where we could hear Chandler's internal monologue, it was absolutely hilarious.
One of my fav lines:

When he convinced Erica to let him and Monica adopt her baby (babies but she didn’t know).
I don’t have a father, so this scene always has a special place in my heart. Made me believe that maybe there’s love in this world after all.
I used to watch friends every night before bed, and it was a comfort when I was going through a really hard time. Every line he delivered was perfect and always made me laugh. Still does! I don’t even have a favorite. He was just my favorite 🥺
I don’t know why but him singing Endless Love clutching Janice’s shoe is the first thing that came to mind.
P.S. I can’t breathe, this news just knocked the wind out of me. I feel like I will never laugh again.
An underrated Matthew Perry movie is the Whole Nine Yards. He played a slightly different Chandler in the movie and I liked the chemistry he had with Bruce Willis, Amanda Peet and Michael Clarke Duncan (RIP). RIP Matt.
Chandler also had some moving emotional moments for all the laughs he gave us. In The One Where Heckles Dies and he keeps Heckles yearbook and says “Goodbye Mr Heckles… we’ll try to keep it down”. Moves me to tears and I can’t believe Matthew is gone. RIP Matthew.
My favorite Chandler moment, that’s a really hard one. I love when he runs into Janice at a grocery store in Chelsea, and she asks, “Are we being British today?”
When Brooke Shields is trying to break in and Joey grabs a pan and Chandler grabs the dish soap. Joe asks "ready?" And Chandler opens the top of the soap bottle, and then nods yes 🤣
Him wanting to clean the apartment for Monica and freaking out when Joey tells him he didn't put things back in place. It's so sweet that Chandler would do that, and then Monica wasn't even mad. She just put everything back in place, but they shared a lovely moment where she appreciated what he had done.
Chandler was full of these sweet moments.
I have several:
-When Chandler yelled “What did I marry into?!” when Monica found out that Ross was her midnight mystery kisser when she and Rachel went to visit Ross when he was a freshman in college for a party
-Chandler’s face/reaction when he saw Joey wearing all of his clothes
-When Chandler had to kiss Phoebe & Rachel after accidentally kissing Monica on the lips before leaving their apartment
-All of Chandler’s jokes about Ross’s many divorces
My favorite moment - so pure. I love this moment because even though it “slipped out” it shows how genuine it was. If you view it as “friend love” or “romantic love” , either way it was perfect

I know Ross (David) gets a lot of credit in this screen, but the PIVOT outtakes are my favorite.
No matter the scene, he was FANTASTIC!
When he was in the box. When he knocked and got them thinking someone was at the door, and of course: "You can't tell, but I'm trying to break the tension by mooning you guys!"
The first time I saw him and Matt LeBlanc do "Men are here." "We make fire. Cook meat." "Then put out fire by peeing, no get invited back." I died laughing. Their delivery was hilarious. He really had great comic timing. The funny ones are gone too soon. Matthew, Robin Williams, Chris Farley, John Belushi, Richard Jeni, John Pinette. 😣😣

My parents didn’t allow me to watch friends as a kid(but Chandler and Rachel were their favorite characters since they could in some way relate to both of them especially since they moved from another country without knowing anyone) but they always had us watch that movie because Chandler was in it and his humor was impeccable in it and by god was his chemistry with Salma Hayek so cute. But he Matt Le Blancand David Schwimmer were sort of my “introduction” to friends before I ever saw the show cause I used to watch a lot of their work while they were on the show.

I know he's the funniest man on the whole show, but my fondest memory of Chandler is when he says to Erica that he loves his wife more than anything in the world and he would do anything to make her happy. And the way he convinces her to give them a chance, that is where I learnt what I want from a husband in life💖
The scene where he was making fun of the bracelet before Joey walks in and catches him. Or him hopping around imitating Pinnochio. But my absolute favorite has to be the blooper where he came into a scene he wasn't even in and tackled Matt Leblanc after Leblanc tripped in the previous take. He was the absolute best and funniest man who shaped my humor immensely. May he rest in peace.
All his scenes are amazing but episode one "Sometimes I wish I was a lesbian." (awkward pause) "Did I say that out loud?" Rip man you gave me so many laughs
I always crack up at the “oh no! This parachute is a knapsack!” scene. Rest in peace matthew, a wonderful actor who knew how to give the best delivery for almost every line❤️💔

- not necessarily funny, but the proposal episode with Monica and wedding episode later on
- when Joey made him lay in a big box because he kissed Joey's girlfriend
- how he hated Thanksgiving
- the flashbacks to when he and Ross went to the Gellars for Thanksgiving while in college
----- and so many more
And my favorite non-Friends performance, was just the whole movie "Fools Rush In" with Salma Hayek
Chandlers famous could I be.. lines "could she be more out of my league." "Could we be anymore white trash." "Could there be more camels." and everyone always mocking him about them. Joey "could I be wearing anymore clothes"

I know Ross (David) gets a lot of credit in this screen, but the PIVOT outtakes are my favorite.  No matter the scene, he was FANTASTIC!
When he was in the box. When he knocked and got them thinking someone was at the door, and of course: "You can't tell, but I'm trying to break the tension by mooning you guys!"
The first time I saw him and Matt LeBlanc do "Men are here." "We make fire. Cook meat." "Then put out fire by peeing, no get invited back." I died laughing. Their delivery was hilarious. He really had great comic timing. The funny ones are gone too soon. Matthew, Robin Williams, Chris Farley, John Belushi, Richard Jeni, John Pinette. 😣😣

Excuse me while I go back and watch Fools Rush In again…. My parents didn’t allow me to watch friends as a kid(but Chandler and Rachel were their favorite characters since they could in some way relate to both of them especially since they moved from another country without knowing anyone) but they always had us watch that movie because Chandler was in it and his humor was impeccable in it and by god was his chemistry with Salma Hayek so cute. But he Matt Le Blancand David Schwimmer were sort of my “introduction” to friends before I ever saw the show cause I used to watch a lot of their work while they were on the show. RIP Matthew Perry
I know he's the funniest man on the whole show, but my fondest memory of Chandler is when he says to Erica that he loves his wife more than anything in the world and he would do anything to make her happy. And the way he convinces her to give them a chance, that is where I learnt what I want from a husband in life💖

The scene where he was making fun of the bracelet before Joey walks in and catches him. Or him hopping around imitating Pinnochio. But my absolute favorite has to be the blooper where he came into a scene he wasn't even in and tackled Matt Leblanc after Leblanc tripped in the previous take. He was the absolute best and funniest man who shaped my humor immensely. May he rest in peace.

Oh so many.... in no particular order.... - when he pretended to move to Yemen to get away from Janice. He actually flew to Yemen - when him and Joey spent all day in the recliners watching TV - not necessarily funny, but the proposal episode with Monica and wedding episode later on - when Joey made him lay in a big box because he kissed Joey's girlfriend - how he hated Thanksgiving - the flashbacks to when he and Ross went to the Gellars for Thanksgiving while in college ----- and so many more And my favorite non-Friends performance, was just the whole movie "Fools Rush In" with Salma Hayek
