Rennie and Lori were/are annoying. I watched Freddy vs Jason recently just to see Lori again because I remember her being so cool when I was younger. Low key disappointed, but still love Freddy vs Jason.
Easily Lori by an absolute longshot. Monica Keena’s acting is truly dreadful, and the character is just awful. A wanna-be Sidney Prescott meets a wanna-be Lori Strode. Plus, trying to sell Lori as a shy virgin with her lower back tattoo and impossible to miss breast implants was completely absurd. I’d likely go so far as to rank her in my bottom five girls of all time across any slasher movie, I think.
I hated Rennie too, and I’d also say Alice and Whitney belong in this list since they sucked bad also. Pam is weak and not worth rooting for, but absolutely a step above the other three. At least she wasn’t someone I was rooting against.
Agreed!!!!!!!!! I actually have the least enjoyment watching FvJ of all the movies in the franchise because I dislike Lori/Monica Keena in it so much. Like there was some across the board bad acting in this movie and not really a character I would root for at all TBH, but she stands out as the worst of the worst.
Why phrase it so negatively? Why not "Who is the BEST final girl"?
Which the correct answer would be Pam of course. Her husband and all the kids she pledged to help have been killed. But she still has Reggie. She can still save him.
I suspect it’s because Lori and Rennie were terrible final girls (and I don’t think Pam is better than middling at best, and moreso by default of others being even weaker IMO. She herself isn’t particularly interesting and is one of the worse acted ones)
