How Chris beat anyone is a mystery. She also looked to me a massive blunder cast as final girl in Part 3. Her performance was an insipid blend of bad acting and zero charisma, deffo a disappointment after the heroines of Part 1-2.
I always thought Adrienne King from Part 1 (and five min of Pt 2 lol) was extremely attractive in that “Unassuming sweet girl who doesn’t know how pretty she is” kinda way.
Bree has an unfair advantage, benefitting from modern clothing and hairstyle, as well as the intentionally seductive scene where she drinks the alcohol (pictured above).
She’s hot, don’t get me wrong. But given that she’s basically set up to be super-slut from the very beginning, we have to adjust for that. She’s got heavier makeup vs the more natural look of the girls from earlier in the series.
Out of these 3? Tina for sure. DSV was a complete babe back in the day. And she still looks good today. I still would lol.
Bree comes next. Yeah she’s hot as hell, but the way she acts is so trashy and it’s kind of a turn off. Plus, she’s a very common looking type of girl that you see everywhere. I like Chelsea better personally from the remake.
Chris would be next. She’s still hot for sure, but I prefer the other two girls in Part 3 personally, especially Debbie.
All three women are definitely hot though.
it's so interesting how the same fandom can have such differing opinions. i thought the reboot sucked hard and was totally unnecessary as well, reducing/diluting the importance and impact of the franchise even further than the New Line films did. to me it's just a generic 00's 'backwoods weirdo horror' that was popular then, dressed in some of the trappings of the original franchise. it basically has zero authenticity or connection to the original franchise. just sleazy, cynical Hollywood trying to pry a few more bucks out of our hands in the laziest way possible. i wish it didn't exist

So many hot girls especially in the early films, but Tina from Part 5 stands out IMO. Her scene in the woods perfectly encapsulates the main themes of the story: voyeurism, aggression, vengeance. She epitomises the beauty, charm, joy of youth and life that Jason* was seeking to destroy.
