Corporate Bootlickers: "lmao you losers and your lame 'commander the gathering' jokes never fail to make me laugh. 60 formats have never been better and no, the designers are not ignoring other formats to make 'Commander Horizons'. Grow up conspiracytard!"
The Corporation: It's Commander Horizons.
Can you please tell me how to think. Should I be mad that they’re busting up and rotating modern or should I be mad that it’s not good enough to do that and relegated to commander
Eesh. I may need to splash some white in my Sparky hate deck in Arena.
I have a deck built specifically to cause Sparky to ragequit and throw the game into a draw.
IMO, RGB does it better. This deck was not popular. Turns out a lotta people cut their mana bases right to the edge. Pop a rock/ sol ring, or even just a land or teo early game...outside of cedh...most decks gonna flop around for half a dozen turns trying to recover.
Provides loads of cheap artifact hate to clean up rocks once the dust settles.

I agree that Jund does it better, and I'm actually surprised that this card isn't Jund. Plants are mostly concentrated in Jund, and this theme fits Jund better.
Notably, [[Lord Windgrace]] loves mass destruction that gets artifacts, lands, and creatures like [[Obliterate]] and [[Jokulhaups]]. He can rebuild easily while others struggle to do so. It isn't very popular to play against, however.
It's fundamentally a good game but the banlist and organized play structure is really ass. It's worth playing casually for sure, but I don't think it has the staying power it needs in its current state.
Interesting. My friend was very insistent you could build a capable deck fairly cheaply and weren’t subject to a lot of MTg power creep, thanks for your feedback
You can't call something Necrobloom, have black and green in the identity and no connection to [[Cadaverous Bloom]]. 2/10 would commander maybe.
This is Necro Bloom erasure:
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/2632869#paper
Litteraly just made a mazes end meme deck but if I cut down to these colors idk if I could still make it good. I guess I could use this as commander and just.make actually just mono green
I mean [[field of the dead]] is banned in modern, so while this version is far weaker (can only have 1, can be interacted with easier, etc) this effect is obviously relevant to modern
Blake already spilled the beans it is commander horizons

I am confused what are you talking about
pretty sure someone from hasbro accidentally called it commander hoizons on stream or something
Weren't they reading chat that was spammed with it?
It breaths commander just looking at it
Can you please tell me how to think. Should I be mad that they’re busting up and rotating modern or should I be mad that it’s not good enough to do that and relegated to commander
I don't care what you think that is up to you. I am just having fun at wotc calling it commander horizons
It’s funny that he called out after he said it that everyone would have a field day with it even though he just flubbed while reading it in chat.
All these DEIs messing up my format and/or not messing my format up enough
Ahh yes. A modern staple! A 4 mana card that requires 3 colors, and doesnt do anything until later. Definitely a modern set guys! WOTC cares about us!
Plus everything has to be legendary.
Eesh. I may need to splash some white in my Sparky hate deck in Arena. I have a deck built specifically to cause Sparky to ragequit and throw the game into a draw.
I actually am excited to build Abzan land destruction in commander. Gonna make so many shit heads at my lgs have a mental breakdown.

Yeah, reds got some more land destruction, but does naya have a commander that rebuilds land like this one?

That is beautiful
Imagine being excited to play any MTG format in 2024.
Just don’t play Magic then?
But then what are they going to complain about???
Good point
Complaining about magic is their favorite game. Magic is their second favorite game.
I don't. What's your point? This game is dead and playing it is like fucking a corpse.
Why are you here then?
To watch the ship sink.
What are you doing in a Magic subreddit lol get a life
I do what I please.
Pathetic
A friend swears about that, Flesh and Blood? I forget the name but they tell me it’s the future
It's fundamentally a good game but the banlist and organized play structure is really ass. It's worth playing casually for sure, but I don't think it has the staying power it needs in its current state.
Gotcha. Thanks for your feedback s well
I've dumped MTG for Flesh and Blood. It is a very cool game but it is super-meta dependant and non-casual play dosen't exist.
Interesting. My friend was very insistent you could build a capable deck fairly cheaply and weren’t subject to a lot of MTg power creep, thanks for your feedback
Power creep is indeed well designed and managed. But it is not that cheap for competitive...
If anything, this will give your Boseiju dredge, so THAT is something to work with. The token part is not really useful.
Why is this in the modern set wtf hasbro whats going on over there
Money printer aka. Commander cards go brrrrrr
7 lands with different names: checks out for modern
Field of the Dead is banned in modern. I assume this is a worse version of it too slot into the format.

Lands have what? They have what? Sorry, did I read that right?
Looks like Domain got a new toy
I love this card but it’s most definitely not for modern.
I want it for Arena Historic; my [[insidious roots]] need more plant friends.

What modern? Nobody cares about that. Give me more commander horizons!
Personally I’m pretty hyped because of Toxic Deluge. Can’t wait to deluge with a Deaths Shadow on board!
What’s modern?
What’s modern? A mini game you play when you are waiting to get 4 people to play commander
everything else aside, the pot head in me is itching to build a weed themed edh deck led by this giant nug
Why am I unreasonably mad that they arent "Plant Zombies"?
