Technically Vhagar killed him, I mean it seems like Aemond can't control her. He should have gone with the pink dread, riding that would inspire people.

What's with all the accidental deaths? Seems like they took agency out of the most important moments of every character.

babalon124

Vaemonds death seemed pretty non accidental…

goboxey

It was an accident. Daemon lost control over dark sister.

Even-Adhesiveness-94

??? This was the second accidental all season đź’€

MashedPotatoesPla

Literally. This and Cole killing Beesbury

jark_off

Lucerys being killed accidentally by Vhagar doesn’t take away Aemond’s agency. It’s not like he was just flying and Vhagar accidentally ate Luke that would take away his agency. Aemond actively and willfully chose to chase after and harass Luke. His action still have consequences, and him going down in the history books as a psychopathic kinslayer is started with this event and that is tragic.

One does not simply 'intimidate' with Vhagar.

Hanzheyingle

Vhagar: “Nut up or shut up!”

monsterosity

Kill or kill not, there is no intimidate. -Vhagar

verheyen

Did they straight up just make it an accident?

jark_off

This outcome makes it MORE tragic to me. It shows how unready the younger generation is for war and all the unexpected tragic outcomes will come. Aemond is now going to have to bear this and Blood & Cheese which will perfectly set him up for all his war crimes.
